but Apoc bird gets too much attention. Same with the magical girls. I want to give my HEs and TETHs some love, dammit! Laetitia, Forsaken Murderer, Red Shoes, Der Freischütz, Funeral of Dead Butterflies! Give them a chance to be in the spotlight!
All slots are already filled, sadly. And we are not Caster'y enough to break the slot system, I think.
You technically can fit in to the slot of caster, even if imperfectly though it would bind you to that shape until you get the other templatesAll slots are already filled, sadly. And we are not Caster'y enough to break the slot system, I think.
Hans really would've been interesting in a combination with Fairy Tale EGO's, tho. Both character-wise and for mechanical synergies.
Now I am just imaginging X litteraly dangling it on a fishing pole and Shakespeare comes jumping out of the summoning circle chanting "Mine Mine Mine!" like the birds from Nemo....hmm, We can probably dangle the stageplay of Lobotomy Corporation in front of Shakespeare to lure him in hun?
lmao, what fun.
In terms of practicality, Punishing Bird only shows their teeth if the poor victim tries to retaliate, but I'm not sure if their Beak E.G.O. can do the same thing. At most it seems to be a deterrent, unless a narrative beat takes over for effectiveness. Narratively though, X would just be content to administer punishment and then walk away, regardless if the victim is alive or dead. Maybe X will want to spell out what wrongdoing they are redressing, but unless provoked, they will solely be focused on what bad things someone has done, deal just enough harm to make their victim aware of it, and be done. That flies out of the window if the victim fights back, then it's shoot to kill. Might have the potential to get a lot worse if the other Birds are involved, but that's a whole 'nother can of worms.[ ] People have been committing sins since long ago. "Why do they commit sins, knowing it's wrong?"
Funeral of Dead Butterflies brings up something that might be interesting to explore. As the Manager all the deaths accrued in their tenure can be pointed right at X; nobody does something without the Manager's say-so. Doubly so, Tiphereth A had been as much aware of these deaths in Central Command. These deaths are accepted by everyone but few really mourned, save for perhaps Tiphereth B. But in this, could an X bothered by everything they've done mourn, for those who died on their watch and otherwise. This opens the door for empathy depending on whether it is nurtured, and perhaps tether X to events on a more personal level compared to others.
[ ] I am coming to you. You, who will be reduced to ash like me.
Fourth Match Flame said:The fire roars and burns like the first flame.
The light of the match will not go out until it has burned away happiness, warmth, light, and all the other good things of the world; there's no need to worry about it being quenched.
The experiments with lighting the matches could not be completed without collateral damage. Those who are burned will feel infinite hatred towards the world until the last flicker of their consciousness is snuffed out.
