Into that Vast and Unrelenting Darkness (40K Xeno Civilization Quest)

Is there a plan without Arcologies? Hail Tek seems fine , but it says Shipyards OR Arcologies so I am unsure. I feel like since there is no indication of overpopulation they are (and will be for a long time) just an innefecient way of getting EXP

This is one of the those problems you want solved before they've ever a problem. And it's a good idea to chip away at it so we can finish it before we start seeing overpopulation problems.

[X] Plan: Consolidate and Possible Colony + Spaceboat Yards

I dislike this because it screams giving kids cancer and short lifespans like the Necrontyr
You know it talks about making it safer in the actual description right? Yeah, you could probably mess up and hurt yourself, but you can also fuck yourself over even in normal chemistry classes by messing up and suddenly you're breathing toxic fumes.

Edit: @Woltaire @w34v3r I messed up and forgot to put "Plan:" in front of Nuclear Boogaloo's title, would you mind updating your votes to match so the tally doesn't mess up?

Thats just WAY before. Near-extinction war happened not that long ago , and if anything it is better to think about a way of increasing it (I honestly doubt if there are even a billion tekkets alive now) , than fixing a problem that may-or-may-not appear centuries later. Our star will eventually get Supernova , should we immediately start researching star refueling? It is , indeed , a problem you don't want to before it even becomes one

What happens if we hit zero Network? Is that just enough but no surplus?
Yeah, I think that as long as we don't go negative we are fine. 0 Would be we are using it all/most of it. 1+ means we have enough surplus that we can do a project that requires it without taking anything that Is being used by other stuff. (this is how I'm interpreting it)

My thinking on it Is we just put some of the excess that can't be used to complete other projects on it. so It would be gaining 1-4 a turn(I'm assuming that orbital shipyard completion will unlock some 5 costs). So It would take multiple turns to complete. assuming we put 2 a turn on it, It will finish in 10 turns. Which since the turn took atleast 3 years. ("millions of miles traversed in only a handful of years") I think Each turn takes atleast 4-5 years (3-4 for travel, 1 for the scanning/exploration) So assuming its at 10 turns, it would take 2-3 generations to complete. Or we go with what this quests mechanics are based off of, and each turn is a generation or so. So that means it is going to be a near-ish problem needed to be solved.

[X] Plan: Hail Tek!

I'll honestly vote for anything that does Tek Mausoleum.

I don't know what to survey so I just went with what I think is the closest of the remaining options.

[ ] Erichtheo: Named after an old goddess from Classical Myth, Erichtheo, a moon of Mongus, is believed to be the only planet in the solar system capable of supporting life. Icy and oceanic, exploration of Erichtheo has captured the minds of science fiction authors for generations: stepping foot on it would be...well, certainly monumental.
Is what we should explore next, as we might spread to a second world if it is capable of supporting life and that would boost morale

Pretty sure at the very least that would take nuclear and network like the lunar base (If not more because its farther from resplies) so I don't think we could actually expand to that world the next turn. (I could see potentially getting the resouces the turn after that) So I was thinking (__, luna, Erichtheo) But I guess I'll switch to it. Since even if we wont be able to expand to it for a while, It will give time for our people to plan things out.

@Woltaire , can you update my plan you posted on your post to do Erichtheo instead.
