HELLSTRIDER: An Exalted Quest

I don't suppose any of the 'The Eye of Unfriendly Skies' voters could be convinced to switch to 'The Jagged Edge' in order to beat 'The Fallen Star Omen'?

To be frank, I'd rather convince you of the follies of "The Jagged Edge" and express curiosity about what precisely sounds good about Metaphysical Hunger or where it fits in to the temptress build that we are currently working with? I'll also extol the virtues of precise melee over berserker failing. Exalted are hard to take down if you don't hit anything vital, which can be hard if your less directing your attacks than flailing in your enemies general direction. Abandon wanton destruction, embrace the headshot and heart piercer.

Agreed, except that Metaphysical Hunger sounds beautiful. But I'm not going to take it over sexy precision fighting and being beautiful and clever.

Really feeling the overwhelming power and bloodlust of the first and third… really not into going in on finesse, precision, and sorcery.

I want to be an auteur of ultra-violence basically. The second doesn't give me the vibes I prefer.

(I'd prefer the artillery but Jagged Edge is a close second.)

Why isn't my vote in that count there?
Edit: oops I put a space in there

[X] The Fallen Star Omen

Come, let us invoke omens and curse our enemies. The omens in our dreams have led us to this place to find our ancestor. We are already a temptress, let us be a trickster-temptress. Let us rend causality and make Sidereals cry. :D

Okay the thing I did not expect was this vote getting lively again. I will keep it open for one more day, then, and then maybe even try to write an update.

Just two more votes to get Jagged Edge over the top guys, I believe in us! It can still be done!

If you voted for Eye of Unfriendly Skies, I'm sorry, but it has very little chance at this point. I too would much prefer glorious artillery, but Jagged Edge is our only chance at overcoming sorcery. Please consider switching?

Glorious tele-melee is still pretty good!

The sorcerous build is noted to be "subtle" and "tricky".

My guys: No.

RAW OVERWHELMING POWER and ATROCIOUS ULTRA-VIOLENCE is where it's at!

I want to absolutely wreck shit.

vote for hilarious sorcery and trickery based reversals, vote for synergy between our mara stuff and the mech's fighting style, vote for power through finesse. Vote for the Fallen Star Omen.

(I love both leading options but I love omen a bit more and I refuse to let only one side lobby the crowd)

There is also the supernatural awareness. Half the time, it's what you don't see coming that kills you. The fallen star Omen boosts Adamant Flame's senses beyond even normal Dynasts on top of the whole numinous(religious/divine) trickery and precision melee.

I'm actually fine with any option winning

Come on, vote for Jagged Edge. You know you want Exalted Evangelion to be a thing!

Vote Fallen Star Omen. Let us be beautiful and knife-sharp, cunning like our patron. It's thematically fitting.

Why not vote Jagged Edge to contrast our Patron, highlight the differences and play off each other?

Because this defines our development and play style and the people who voted for Mara in the first place did so because they prefer being an underestimated manipulator who see's more than most and goes for their enemies weaknesses. Clearly it's not to everyones tastes, but in general questers tend to build on the first vote or diverisfy, not favor a complete reversal, which is how I see the Jagged Edge.

Y'all better come to a decision quick because the polls close in 10 hours and some spare minutes.
