Thinking over your options, you run through a mental list until you think about Mami Tomoe. 'Ah, now I know what I'll do! I'll hang out with her for a bit!' you think to yourself, a grin forming on your face. 'And what better way than to make an entrance?' With a grin, you leap off the tree and start spinning, digging into the earth in the schoolyard and - by accident - leaving a nice wormsign as the only indicator of your passing through.
On and on you dig until you sense the presence of Mami above you and a little to your left... no doubt enjoying a nice cake or some dessert like that. A grin forms on your lips as you dig straight up and burst into the sunlit yard of Mami Tomoe's house.
As for the girl with golden drill-pigtails, her eyes widen slightly as she spots your wormsign, only to return to their normal size as you pop out of the ground in front of her. "Heya, Mami!" you say with a cheerful tone.
"Oh! Kyubey, you startled me," Mami replies, giggling softly.
You give a chuckle in turn, shaking off the loose dirt and getting a good look at Mami. She's dressed in an outfit that looks a lot like Sayaka's, save for the blackish-brown slacks that also seem to be present. Of course, her hair's as golden as ever and well-kept, her yellow eyes radiating warmth and care. And then there's the strange object, a tapered cone with spiraling grooves in it attached to a string tied around her neck that catches the light of the bright sun and shines a neon-yellow color. That part of her outfit is your handiwork, an indication of your Contract with her a month ago. It was a rushed job, looking back on it...
You remember it like it was yesterday. It was a gorgeous day in Mitakihara. Birds were chirping and the mood in the air was one of general good cheer. Then, you heard it, the sound of squealing tires and the crunching of metal on metal; a car accident. A certain fuzzy jerk was on the move at that moment, and thus, so were you, and now it came down to the wire. Sadly, you were just a little slow to reach the scene before your fuzzy target did, but fast enough that you got there just in time to hear what they were saying, even as Norbey perched himself on the remains of the window. "Who... are you...? An angel? The grim reaper? Are you here to steal my soul?" Mami asked, pain shooting through her being.
"No, I'm not. My name is Norbey... and I want you to make a contract with me."
No sooner were those words spoken did you make your charge, even as Mami groaned out, "A contract...?"
"That's right. I want you to make a contract with me and become a magical gUNH!"
The wind was taken out of Norbey's sails as you body-checked the Incubator into a nearby guard rail and cut him off of his spiel with a shout of, "Not on your life, you fuzzy bastard!" Then, turning to Mami, you realized you had to work fast. "Before you say anything, you're hurt and I can save you! What were you gonna wish for?" you asked.
"H-huh...?" she gasped, the injuries she'd sustained starting to take their toll.
"I can save you, but we have to Contract now, before Bakabey does! What were you gonna wish for?!"
Mami gasped. "Please... ...Save me... Help me! I don't want to die!"
"Okay! Contract made, let's do this!" you said, your ribbon-like appendages reaching into Mami's chest. In her eyes, a green, spiraling line could briefly be seen as an electric-yellow light flooded the car, a smaller but more intense green light visible within. Once the lights faded and your ribbons returned to hanging loosely, Mami could see the crystalization of her soul in her hands: a bright yellow gem that was shaped like a drill, containing a green, pulsing light. It was then that you extricated her from the car and stayed by her side as she mourned the loss of her parents, who'd been killed instantly in the crash.
Once she'd recovered from her grieving, you dried her tears with your tail, a sad smile upon your lips. "What now...?" Mami whispered. "I'm all alone now..." Just looking at the mangled car had her sniffling.
[] "You're not alone as long as you have me!"
[] "Nobody's ever truly alone, Mami. Everyone has a friend."
[] "Your parents are always with you, though, in here." (tap Mami's chest with a paw, about where her heart is)
[] Give Mami a hug - sometimes, a good hug can say more than any words ever could
[] Combination of some or all of the above
