[X] Train Hazou : Improve both scribe skills
[X] XP to Spend Akane: My partner is a WMD
[X] XP to Spend Akane: My partner is a WMD
My previous plan name had a forbidden letter.
[x] Action Plan: Like Reasonable Adults
- Mari check all:
- KEI
- Hazou offers them a deal:
- Adopted KEI ninja will not be required to share their jutsu with other members of Hazou's clan, unless deals are made with the KEI leadership on a jutsu-by-jutsu basis.
- If a KEI jutsu somehow ends up as purely in Hazou's clan, we will teach it back to the KEI.
- The KEI stop the prevention of our purchase of tickets, and offer us non-raised ticket prices.
- Necromancy
- Hazou and his sensei continue their work for as massive a duration as EJ is comfortable with.
Without commensurate directions in the action plan itself, we may fail to take appropriate safety precautions in pursuit of this improvement of skill. The results may be catastrophic. As such, it is important that we ensure the respective action plan directions are sufficient before we endorse the skill improvement. If needbe, we can always seek the skill improvement in the next cycle. Why do some players choose not to have Hazou advise that Akane improve her skill with the Temperature Alteration jutsu?
Experiments with stacked EM (with CO₂ to precool, since direct stacks don't work) are an excellent idea, since they probably do not sustain, but still allow the team to learn the effect. Is there a security word that means hi7h security with the forbidden letter removed but low security without it removed? What about doin7 it on a hot day but feedin7 the precast zone with ice until it reaches critical mass?
I cannot endorse difficult seal research while we do not have the FP available to reroll -9's or -12's. I don't, erm, actually know what project the current plans seek, but I would personally like a short update (no timeskip) with no research in order to acquire more FP for the next research cycle. imo, EM nukes would make for a perfect such update, and so I expect to support reasonable plans that pursue that option.I don't understand why we rotated what seal master project we're on. We can just finish chakdar now.
Also why does no one seem to be interested in the mystery Box is ES.
Nor does it prevent tumblr classic, "then I will face Jod and walk backwards into hell" (related to the divisive pronunciation of a beloved animated picture format). To be used responsibly, of course.I also note that the forbidden letter does not forbid youthsuit purchase. Coincidence, or fate? Nor does it forbid praise for Our Lord and Saviour, RNJashin.
Does the failure mean he did not finish chakdar?I don't understand why we rotated what seal master project we're on. We can just finish chakdar now.
Like Vacuum Step but you can bring allies? And drop MARS payloads?Water Element: Surging Seas
A great wave of crushing water surges up beneath the user's feet and launches forward, striking out at an enemy within range. Select (Effect) Zones in a line. In each Zone, you target a person and everyone in melee with them, and each target must defend against your Surging Seas roll. An enemy hit by the wave moves along with the wave. They move one Zone for every two shifts of failure, up to the ninjutsu's range.
The user or anyone that dodges the wave may choose to try to ride along with it. To do so, they must make an Athletics check against the Surging Seas attack roll. On a success, they may move up to (Effect) Zones along with the wave. Otherwise, reduce the amount of potential movement by the number of shifts they failed by (minimum 0).
[X] XP to Spend Akane: None
From what other players have said, I'm also not convinced that testing the nuke is safe at this time. If it's unrealistic for Hazō to learn what air does at super cold temperatures in one update, then we can build up to it over several updates instead. We can afford to delay the test by 1-3 updates surely?
(Btw, avoiding the forbidden letter is pretty fun!)
Aha! There's an exploit here! See, that means you can...
Aww. Alri—If someone wants to be dickish and/or rules lawyer / game the system and they wish to ask "Will this count?", then the answer will be FAAFO.
—ht, alri—
—ht, I suppose it'd be reckless to risk splicin' the XP-Suckin' Symbol into our posts in the manner I've waved at just now.
Yep! But also hurt them if they don't roll sufficiently well.
Mechanically, the movement happens over the course of one character's Standard action. I can't comment on whether you'd be able to MARS-bomb people as you passed them by.
As I consider how risky it is to do research with low FP, the more I am convinced that shorter timeskips would be to our benefit. If we just want to push forwards and complete a swath of minor projects, I can see the merit in sizeable timeskips, but not if we intend to incurr any risk of failure, because without FP we will fail sooner or later. As I consider the list of Newly Created Seals that we want to make (TN70 Ooze Bombs, Chakdar, Reusable Rocket Boots, Bat Screech, Fire Lizard's Roar, MEW Seal, Improved Skywalkers, Minato's Necromancy, 3D Seal to fix the Broken Awesome Seal In Spider Wife's Backyard...) the more I am convinced that 4 to 6 Month Timeskips would be a positive event.
The major problem is out calli, we can easily hit 80-90'd on the main roll with prep and invokes. That means to be able to draw the seals we need to pump that stat to around 56. That's a little less than 3 months. Which feels like a reasonable time skipAs I consider how risky it is to do research with low FP, the more I am convinced that shorter timeskips would be to our benefit.
