The Ways of Fate: A Primarch Quest

As if I would restrict my dear questers and their master warpsmith/psycrafter/witch artisan MC from making himself an appropriate force weapon if you decide to go ranged. The era of force las-/volkite-/plasma-/grav-/melta-weapons is upon us (with restrictions).

If its time to break the seting conventions on force weapons its with this character.
Didn't the Thousand Sons have bolters that could generate more ammo out of Warp energy? Seems like we already have a starting point.

We shall defy the expectation of Primarches to primarily fight with melee weapons etc. Instead we shall teach people why you don't bring a sword to a gunfight.

Found it. It seems like a heresy, post-heresy thing, but could serve as a basis that could be expanded on.

Inferno Weapons - The weapons of the Thousand Sons are shaped by the craft of artificers and Sorcerers alike. When their guns roar, they fire not only explosive bolts that tear flesh, but uncanny arcane energies that can melt even ceramite. In such a fashion is the Long War waged anew. Variants of this type of weapon include: the Inferno Bolt Pistol, Inferno Bolt Gun, Inferno Combi-Bolter and Soulreaper Cannon.

As much as I love big guns and cannot lie
I do not think it would be wise in the least to completely forsake melee combat all together
even if it's a force autocannon there are a few things that can take the psychic energy out of it
And a lot of it's punch with it

well it might still be good especially in an open Battlefield it might not be as good in tight spaces like say a spaceship corridor or trenches and tunnels that aren't just a straight line
well a sword and Pistol well the sword is still being swung by a Primarch psychic or no

it would be viable even in tight spaces so would the pistol being smaller and easier to maneuver will still providing some range capabilities
also this brings me to a question will this choice determining our Loadout for the entirety of the quest
or will we be able to craft more weapons somewhere in the future so that we have multiple weapons for multiple situations
or if everyone decides range / melee is overrated


P S didn't some of the primarchs have multiple weapons that they used and switched between based on what they felt was best suited for that particular engagement or war zone?

It looks awesome. It feels awesome... and in the offchance that someone gets close, well... does anyone want to take an autocannon burst at this range?
