I think Mordred would be a rather fitting name considering we have a mysterious sorceress space mom and we're likely going to die by our father's order that it's quite fitting because of that and
( Destinui defie ) Translates to ( Destiny defied ) I think from lotr sindarin and black speech because somehow someway we will defy our destiny for we are not sanguineous who knowingly walked to his death nor are we Konrad Curze who simply accepted his no we are the second born and there is no Destiny but that we make for ourselves !!!!

sorry I was trying to be inspiring to convince people that this was a good name . . . is it working?
 
Psyker and Genius are both good for different reasons, so I will be able to write something nice regardless of what wins in the end.

Whatever the result, hoping to make a ranged-focused Legion out of our Primarch. Nothing more novel than devising the bestest and furtherest-shooting of booms and pews.

...Of course, assuming we defy the fate ahead of us first!

I'd prefer a brilliant mind over a psyker.
Also being killed for preventing a tragedy is kind of a tragedy by itself and a great story to illustrate the grim darkness of the far future.

Going into more detail on what I hope to accomplish with a doctor Primarch.

There's a lot of places a superhuman medical expert would be useful, removing the Butcher's Nails would be one major example, as would curing the Red Thirst for Sanguinius. We might even be asked to help with the Flesh Change depending on when we're found relative to the other Primarchs, which would open up some sorcery-based plotlines, as we learn what affects the soul can have on the body and vis-versa.

We'd probably have the Rangdan as our most hated enemy, as most versions I've seen are effectively a sentient disease, though Nurgle would also be a contender if and when he shows up. Other possibilities include making biomechanical servitor replacements that don't include human tissue for ethical reasons, building a universal health care system for the Imperium, and removing the "death rate" for space marine conversion.
 
I might just relax my iron QM grip on having the post primarch deleto storyline play out roughly like canon because people appear genuinly excited.
