Since we're a bit deeper into it now, and I've put up the series list, I guess it's okay to reveal some things that would have happened on the other starting routes.

If you'd gone with Mithril, you would have had to deal with Gauron's shenanigans before the plane hijacking without knowing it was Gauron. You also would have had to deal with Sosuke and Kaname, and had opportunities to get them to be a little more forward with each other. Also, the question marked enemy would have been Amalgam.
If you'd gone the OZ route, you would have been introduced to the OZ side of the Gundam Wing cast, in addition to eventually meeting the Gundam pilots from Wing. You wouldn't have had to fight them, there's a twist I'm reserving for when you're done with Mars. Also, the question marked enemy would have been the Vist Foundation from Gundam Unicorn, and you, Trieze and Zechs would have had to do loads of politicking against them before the Gundam Unicorn plot kicked off later in the story.
For the Celestial Being route, you'd be interacting with the other Gundam Meisters and doing armed interventions around the world. You'd be working alongside Dancouga Nova sometimes (Aoi Hidaka, the primary pilot, is the question marked ally. I hope that makes obvious who the question marked enemy is). There also would have been a hilarious scene where you walk in to Aoi's room to wake her up and she's naked because she sleeps in the nude in her anime.

For OZ and Mithril routes, you would have gotten your replacement machine midway through the combat of turn 0 after your initial machine gets wrecked. For Celestial Being, you would have gotten it at the beginning of turn 1.

You know what, let's find out about that bad timeline we need to avert.

Going to call the vote after dinner tonight.

Not to sound bitter, resentful, or make it look like I'm calling people out, but there are some people who I've seen watching and reading the thread who seem to have stopped participating. Some of them even voted previously. I understand some people might be too busy to do much more than read the thread, but please, if there is a reason you stopped voting, can you just come out and say it?

March UE 0083
Aboard the Nadesico

Your tablet beeps as the encrypted file from the Luxon NEXT is decrypted. A few minutes later, 'Section 1 Decrypted' comes up on your screen. You open it up to see "Disaster Aversion Plan Version 2.1.6.43" as the title of the section. You browse through the tablet to look at the documents deemed 'essential'.

The first document is titled 'Persons who are an ideological and practical obstacle to peace in the Earth Sphere'. It only lists either first names or surnames, some are obvious based on the language, others less so.

Hit list-roll 3d6
Each individual die will reveal separate things
1|Gundam Unicorn villain
2-3|Nadesico villain
4-5|Gundam SEED villain
6|Gundam 00 villain

Results:
4, 2, 6

Only the first three names are visible, the rest of the list appears to have been redacted. The names, in order, are Sutherland, Kusukabe, and Ali.

The next document is titled 'Persons whose deaths must be avoided at all costs'. Below the title there is a line of text that clarifies that the people listed in the document may not seem important, but their deaths will have far reaching consequences.

VIP protection list-roll 3d8

4-6|Nadesico character
7-8|Macross Frontier character

Unlike what you've mentally declared the 'hit list', the names in this document have both first and last names. However, like the hit list, only the first three names are visible, with the rest of the document being redacted. There's a disclaimer right above the list that there wasn't time to sort the document alphabetically or by impact. The first three names are Michel Blanc, Euphemia Li Britannia, and Tsukumo Shiratori.

The last document you can view in Section 1 is something titled 'Wellness and relationship essentials'. It's heavily redacted, but there are a few things you can make out. The first is a sub-section titled 'Mental health watchlist' with a few names listed under it, with a line below the title saying that the list is sorted by priority. The first name on the list is Shinji Ikari, the second is Asuka Langley Soryu. There is a third name, although it is after four redacted entries: Misato Katsuragi. There aren't any other visible names in that sub-section, so you move on to the only other part of the document that hasn't been completely redacted: something that has been oddly titled 'Relationships to push through in a healthy manner as best as circumstances will allow'. There are three columns, labeled 'Romantic', 'Parental substitute/mentor', and 'Friendship'. The Romantic column easily has the most entries, though most of them have been redacted. The visible ones include Shinji Ikari with Asuka Langley Soryu, Sosuke Sagara with Kaname Chidori (this one has a footnote saying 'rush if possible, but don't break REDACTED heart in the process'), and REDACTED with a choice of three other women (C.C., REDACTED Kozuki, Shirley Fenette) or...all three of them. The Parental substitute column only has one visible entry: Misato Katsuragi to Shinji Ikari. There's a footnote about this that simply says 'looks can be deceiving'. The Friendship Column has a smattering of entries as well, and oddly, the fewest redactions. Shinji Ikari is apparently in need of popularity, as he is slated for the most friendships on the visible entries, a few of which you recognize. The names include Aoi Hidaka, Heero Yuy, Kamille Bidan, Amuro Ray, Kouji Kabuto, Kazuya Ryuzaki, Ryoma Nagare, Kaine Wakaba, and Kaname Chidori. Entries not involving Shinji Ikari include Amuro Ray and Char Aznable (what?), a triumvirate with Sosuke Sagara, Heero Yuy, and Setsuna F Seiei, Lacus Clyne and Sherly Nome, and Aoi Hidaka with Shinobu Fujiwara. There's a footnote at the bottom of this column stating that most of the friendships listed above should form naturally without intervention, but that the friendships Shinji Ikari can form will require a push, and will be essential to his mental health.

You take a moment to process what you've seen. You've received a list of people who will apparently do very bad things to the world, people whose deaths will upset the world balance in some way, and, a...matchmaking list? This is honestly too much for you to parse with the day you've had so far. You save Section 1 as is on your tablet and bury it behind three different sub-menus before heading back to the medical bay.

Intelligence gained!
[Hit List for world peace]: You have three names of people that will apparently be obstacles to world peace unless dealt with; Sutherland, Kusukabe, and Ali.
[VIPs for world peace]: You have three names of people whose deaths will have unintended, but far reaching consequences; Michel Blanc, Euphemia Li Britannia, and Tsukumo Shiratori
[Therapy for world peace]: Apparently these individuals need therapy badly, or bad things will happen to the world: Shinji Ikari, Asuka Langley Soryu, and Misato Katsuragi
[Trapped in a maze of relationships]: There is a smattering of desirable relationships that you apparently need to induce. The most salient points are having Shinji Ikari and Asuka Langley Soryu becoming romantically involved with each other, Sosuke Sagara and Kaname Chidori becoming romantically involved with each other at an apparently earlier period in time, and Shinji Ikari becoming friends with many different people, apparently for the sake his sanity

A/N: Remember, you have no idea who most of these people are in-character yet.

Roll to see who among the Nadesico bridge crew is available
Roll 1d20
1|Megumi
2-8|Ruri and Yurika
9-16|Ruri and Minato
17-18|Minato and Megumi
19-20|Yurika, Ruri, Minato, and Megumi together
Result: 9

After dropping off the Rose girls' spare clothes, you decide to check in with the bridge crew of the Nadesico to see what has happened in the meantime. When you get to the bridge, you only find Ruri and Minato at their stations.

"Where're the others?" You ask.
"The captain and XO are introducing the new Aestivalis pilots to our existing pilots and the teams from the SARI. Megumi is with them as well to establish brief all the pilots on our communication codes." Ruri explains.
"Huh. Do I need to be down there as well?" You ask.
"Unlikely, last I heard, things seemed to be going smoothly for once. We can talk if you want, we're on course for Mars again, and after we clear the next navigation waypoint we can set things to autopilot." Ruri says. You sigh and lean against the wall.
"Well, I know Ruri's story, such as it is. What about you, Minato? Why did you join the Nadesico?" You turn toward the helmswoman of the ship.
"Hmmm...Before I took this job I was a secretary. It was unbelievably boring where I worked, so I decided to look around for something with a bit more excitement. I saw the opening Nergal had on offer, and it turns out I was the most qualified person for the job! I didn't really think of saying no at that point, and now here I am." Minato says.
"Really, you were the best candidate that Nergal found? I don't mean to sound...insulting, but who else applied for the job?" You ask with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh, lots of people apparently. There were quite a few helm officers from the EFF who applied, but Nergal told me that they either didn't know what they were talking about, or had attitudes so off-putting that they didn't want to take them on. Honestly, given what I've heard and know of the EFF, I can believe that." Minato explains.
"Well, for what it's worth, you've done a good job so far. And you've certainly got a better attitude than most of the EFF officers I've known, even after counting out people from the Titans." You wince at the memory of having to deal with some of those types of officers.
"My my! That's high praise coming from you, a seasoned veteran of the EFF." Minato giggles. Ruri rolls her eyes, but doesn't do anything else.
"And what's your opinion on our helm officer Ruri?" You turn to her with a grin.
"Well, she's certainly not as much of an idiot as the captain." Ruri says. Minato gives a mock-gasp while clutching a hand to her chest.
"Oh Ruri-chan, I'm hurt! You think I'm an idiot?" She asks in a playful tone. You stifle a chuckle.
"I thought you were supposed to respect your elders Ruri. Now look at what you've done." You tease Ruri. Ruri has enough social grace to at least look contrite.
"Sorry, that's not what I meant." Ruri says.
"Apology accepted Ruri-chan." Minato says playfully while winking at Ruri.
You spend a few more minutes making small talk with Ruri and Minato before leaving the bridge.

A few hours later you decide to check on the Rose girls again. Nina took a nap and appears to have recovered somewhat. Lucia has regained consciousness, although she's still complaining about a killer headache. Yukari has stopped vomiting, although the doctor was concerned about dehydration and now has her hooked up to a fluid IV.

"Feeling better?" You ask Nina. She nods.
"So, you reached a decision yet?" Nina asks you.
"Yeah, I'll pilot the Rose. Don't worry about the captain, I'll find an excuse." You say.

Before the conversation can proceed any further, an alarm sounds.

"Alert, we are under attack. Repeat, we are under attack, the Grasshopper robots are attacking again. I repeat, we are under attack, all pilots, report to your machines immediately." Ruri says over the intercom.
"Well, looks like we'll be able to test things out. Ready to go for it?" You ask Nina. She nods before grabbing her pilot suit and starting to undress.

Tactical Information:
The Grasshopper robots are attacking in force. Aside from the usual suspects, there also appear to be a pair of battleship units.
There is a large amount of space debris around the area. You can probably use some as cover in a pinch.
The Blühende Rose is detecting faint dimensional distortions...

Available units:
Steel Jeeg
Big Shooter
Build Angel jets
Aestivalis Frame (Zero g)
-Gai
-Akito
-Ryoko
-Hikaru
-Izumi
DMNX-122 Blühende Rose

Choose copilot:
[X] Nina
[ ] Lucia
[ ] Yukari

What is your opening strategy?

[ ] Spread the work
-The Aestivalis frames and Build Angels will engage the Grasshoppers while Jeeg, Big Shooter, and the Rose attack the enemy battleships.
-The Nadesico will take attacks of opportunity with Gravity Blast and missiles
-Will divide the group, Aestivalis frames are in danger of going out of range of the Nadesico's gravity wave antennae
-Not really any dedicated defense group for the Nadesico, closest group will be Aestivalis Frames

[ ] Map-W
-The Nadesico will open with a Gravity Blast to destroy as many Grasshoppers as possible and also try to catch the enemy battleships in it as well
-All deployed units will mop up stragglers before attacking enemy battleships
-Deployed units will be together in a large group, Aestivalis frames will be out of range of the Nadesico's gravity wave antennae
-Nadesico will be by itself once straggler Grasshoppers are destroyed

[ ] All attack
-The Nadesico will open up with a Gravity Blast to destroy Grasshopper units before moving in to follow up with missiles, Gai and Akito will focus on defending the ship while Ryoko, Subaru and Izumi destroy straggler Grasshoppers. Jeeg, Big Shooter, and Rose will attack enemy battleships, Build Angels will supplement different positions as needed
-Aestivalis units will stay in range of the Nadesico's gravity wave antennae

[ ] Write-in
-Things to include in your plan: What the Nadesico will do. What other units will do: will you have a dedicated defender for the Nadesico? Units can be split into the following groups: Aestivalis pair (Gai and Akito) Aestivalis trio (Ryoko, Hikaru, and Izumi) Jeeg team (Kenji and Tsubaki) Build Angels (Yagyuu, Mido, and Saotome) and the Blühende Rose (You, Mira, and your copilot, in this case, Nina)

A/N: And here's the update! Constructive criticism is welcome as always. Please vote and discuss. I will update the character sheet with stats for the Blühende Rose shortly, in addition to adding info about your copilots. I'll also add another info post about pilots you have now and their units and stats.

[X] All attack

Yeah let's keep the gravity wave dependent units in range of their carrier. Should be fine unless we screw up our rolls.

Opinions on trying to decode more of that avert the bad timelines file?

Huh. We have acquired: Super Robot Wars Null Strategy Guide. Interesting.

Too bad we didn't get a useful 00 goon's name: saying Ali al-Saachez is a threat to world peace is like saying the Pope is Catholic. Still, nice to know to keep an eye out.

[X] All attack

Jovian units aren't a threat, but getting too aggressive when there's Dimensional distortions about is an obvious trap. Using the Nadesico and the Aestivalises to cover each other is the appropriate precaution.

It's still early on, we're dealing with season one content in character over here. We should have plenty of time to really bone up on that strategy guide and become the Big Good(?) the future baddies don't want us to be.

Huh. We have acquired: Super Robot Wars Null Strategy Guide. Interesting.

Keep in mind you don't know who most of these people are. The ones you would know of in character are Aoi (she's a Formula One Racer and model) Amuro and Char (for reasons I hope are obvious) Euphemia (the Britannian Royal Family is very high profile) Kouji Kabuto (Mazinger Z and Photon Power Labs are public figures) Ryoma Nagare (same reason as Kouji). Sutherland is referring to William Sutherland from Gundam SEED, he's basically the guy who makes Murata Azrael's war crimes and genocide plans possible from a military perspective, but you don't necessarily know about him in character. To find out about him, you'd have to ask old contacts in the EFF about someone named Sutherland, and you don't know to do that in character yet.

[Hit List for world peace]: You have three names of people that will apparently be obstacles to world peace unless dealt with; Sutherland, Kusukabe, and Ali.
I'd imagine we know Ali or at least one of his aliases (we don't know what he looks like of course). Of course the problem is making sure killing him actually sticks. Man is a living cockroach.

Excuse acquired. Time for a test run.

To find out about him, you'd have to ask old contacts in the EFF about someone named Sutherland, and you don't know to do that in character yet.
So, Lacus and Sheryl aren't galaxy wide popular singers here?

Turn 1 Combat Round 1: You Get to Burning
Winning Vote:
[X] All attack

March UE 0083
Just past orbit of the moon

You and Nina have changed into your pilot suits and are on your way down to the hangar. Nina is touching her chest and rear, presumably to make sure her suit won't chafe. The two of you arrive in the hangar to find it abuzz with activity, the Aestivalis pilots are loading up into their machines, Big Shooter is ready for launch, and the Build Angels' jets are idling in the launch bay. Uribitake notices you and Nina and walks up to you.

"What're you doing down here? Your ReZel is still wrecked." Uribitake says
"I've got a new ride, the Blühende Rose." You jerk your thumb toward the Super Robot, which was moved into a storage rack off to the side. Uribitake considers things for a few seconds before throwing his hands up.
"Alright, fine, I'll have the guys unlock it. But if something in there causes you to start attacking us, it's on you, got it?" He points at you. You nod.
"Okay, once you get in your robot, move to the back of the line. The captain's going to open up with a Gravity Blast before launching everyone. Since you're piloting a Super Robot, I guess you can help take on the new battleships the enemy's got." Uribitake explains the plan Yurika came up with.
"Understood, we'll start preparing immediately." You say.

You and Nina get situated in the cockpit of the Blühende Rose. After you boot up the system, your mind is suddenly flooded with information about how to pilot the Super Robot. You shake your head to clear your thoughts and turn back to check on Nina. She gives a thumbs up before going back to checking the Diffusion Crystal Drive.

"Diffusion Crystal Drive looks good, output is stable. We're ready to go whenever you are." Nina says.
"Got it, we'll launch as soon as we're able then." You turn back to your controls.

Enemy Forces
Grasshopper Squad x20
Katanbo x2

Opening Salvo
Yurika uses a MAP attack-Gravity Blast
Auto hit (AI enemy is predictable)
Roll for enemy concentration-1d6
4

Result: 11 Grasshopper squads are destroyed

"Gravity Blast, fire!" Yurika says over the squad comms.
You, and you assume everyone else about to sortie, are being fed sensor data from the bridge. You watch as numerous blips representing the Grasshoppers disappear. Before, there were around 20 squads of the automated machines charging the ship. Now, it looks like there are around 9 squads worth of them left, in addition to a pair of the new battleships, which were out of range of the Gravity Blast.

"All units, proceed with your assigned duties. Yamada and Tenkawa, guard the ship. Subaru, Amano, and Maki, mop up the straggler Grasshoppers. Jeeg team and Blühende Rose, attack the enemy battleships. Build Angels, assist the other units as you see fit. Proceed with launch now." Ruri says over the squad freq.

Gai and Akito are the first ones to launch, who immediately take defensive positions around the ship. Ryoko, Hikaru, and Izumi are out next, and they immediately start chasing stray Grasshoppers as a group. Big Shooter is out next. As soon as it's clear of the ship, a ramp opens up on the bottom, and a motorcycle shoots out of it. You hear a yell of "Build Up!" from Kenji over the squad freq, followed by Tsubaki yelling "Jeeg parts, shoot!". The motorcycle turns into the head of Steel Jeeg, and the torso and limbs of Jeeg rocket out of Big Shooter, propelled by exotic electromagnetism. Shortly after, Steel Jeeg is formed. The Build Angels launch next, and after that, you and Nina in the Blühende Rose are the last out.

"Mira Ayana, Blühende Rose, launching!" You say as the thrusters of the Rose come to life. You clear the launch bay and start following Steel Jeeg and Big Shooter. Before you get very far, a stray Grasshopper gets into range and fires a missile salvo at you.

Grasshopper vs Blühende Rose
Grasshopper fires missiles
1d10 + 2 Ability
vs
Armor DC 12 = 6 Armor + 6 Ability
Roll 8
8 + 2 = 10

Mira attacks with Dark Lance Cannon
1d10 + 6 Ability
vs
Mobility DC 4 = 2 Mobility + 2 Ability
Roll 10
10 + 6 = 16

Result: Grasshopper is destroyed, no damage to Blühende Rose

You have no time dodge, but you don't really need to. You expect the cockpit to rock and shake with the impact and detonation of each missile, but nothing really happens except a notification that the missiles impacted the torso armor. The readouts show no damage at all. Without a second thought, you bring up the Rose's left arm and fire a round from the Dark Lance Cannon. A dark red, almost dagger shaped energy projectile sails through the void before hitting the Grasshopper dead center, causing it to explode. This was the extent of what the Grasshoppers could try to do to you in the Blühende Rose? You almost feel untouchable. You shake that thought out of your head before falling in behind Steel Jeeg and Big Shooter.

As you make your way to the enemy battleships, you have an opportunity to look back and see how the Nadesico and the Aestivalis pilots are doing.

Combat-Remaining Grasshoppers versus Nadesico and Aestivalis pilots

Grasshopper Squad x2 vs Gai and Akito
Grasshopper Squads fire laser cannons-roll 2 dice
2d10 + 2 Ability on each roll
vs
Akito Mobility DC 9 = 5 Mobility + 4 Ability
Gai Mobility DC 10 = 5 Mobility + 5 Ability
Roll 7, 2 = 9, 4
Akito Aestivalis Distortion Field Activates

Gai and Akito fight back
Mathematical auto success

Grasshopper Squad x7 vs Ryoko, Hikaru, and Izumi
Grasshopper squad fires mixed salvo of laser cannons and missiles
7d10 + 2 Ability on each roll
vs
Ryoko, Hikaru, and Izumi Mobility DC 10 = 5 Mobility + 5 Ability
2, 2, 7, 7, 1, 1, 3 = 4, 4, 9, 9, 3, 3, 10
Ryoko Aestivalis Distortion Field Activates

Ryoko, Hikaru, and Izumi fight back
Mathematical auto success

Result: No damage to any Aestivalis, Grasshoppers are decimated in return, all Grasshopper squads destroyed

It turns out you didn't need to worry, the Aestivalis pilots seem to have things well in hand from what you can see. Akito is screaming his lungs out over the squad comm, but is otherwise keeping things together as he barrels through Grasshoppers using a Distortion Field attack. Gai grabs a Grasshopper by the head, yelling, "Gai! Super! Upper!!!!!!" as he delivers a vicious uppercut with with his Aestivalis' right arm, obliterating the enemy machine. Ryoko's team are effortlessly dodging and weaving between the Grasshoppers, destroying the enemy robots with knives, machine guns, and knuckle dusters. A stray laser beam seems to catch Ryoko's Aestivalis in the side, only to ping off of its Distortion field. As the last of the Grasshoppers are destroyed, you turn your attention to the new, unknown enemy battleships.

Katonbo pair vs Jeeg team, Build Angels, and Blühende Rose
Katonbos fire laser cannons at Jeeg and Blühende Rose
1d10 + 4 Ability-Roll 2 dice
Jeeg Mobility DC 9 = 4 Mobility + 5 Ability
Blühende Rose Mobility DC 10 = 4 Mobility + 6 Ability
Kenji uses PERSIST
Mira uses ALERT
9, 10 = 13, 14

Kenji attacks a Katonbo with Melee Assault
1d10 + 5 Ability
vs
Armor DC 9 = 5 Armor + 4 Ability
Roll 8
8 + 5 = 13

Mira attacks a Katonbo with Energy Whip
1d10 + 6 Ability
vs
Armor Dc 9 = 5 Armor + 4 Ability + 1 (Nina copilot)
Roll 7
7 + 6 + 1 = 14

Result: Steel Jeeg takes minor damage (5900/6000 HP) Katonbos are destroyed

You realize the enemy ships are charging some kind of laser cannon and juke out of the way just in time to avoid being hit by a massive beam. Kenji isn't as fast, but he's able to grab a nearby piece of debris and use it as a shield. The debris is atomized in the process, but Steel Jeeg is able to come out of it with only minor scorch marks. This only serves to piss off Kenji.

"Oh that does it! Your ass is going to be scrap when I'm done with you!" Kenji yells as he pushes Steel Jeeg to maximum speed.
"Dynamite Kick!" Steel Jeeg does a diving kick at the closest enemy ship. A short distance before Jeeg makes impact, it comes into contact with some kind of barrier that bears an uncanny resemblance to the Nadesico's Distortion Field. It doesn't seem to do the enemy ship much good however, as it immediately begins to falter before seemingly dying under the strain. Steel Jeeg's kick creates a massive dent in the enemy ship's hull on impact, but Kenji's not satisfied with doing just that.
"You're in for it now! Hell Slap!" Both of Steel Jeeg's arms detach and spikes emerge from their palms and fingers. They slam repeatedly into the enemy ship's hull at breakneck pace. After a few seconds of this, the arms reattach, before Kenji buries Steel Jeeg's right arm into the guts of the enemy ship, tearing out numerous components. That seems to have killed the enemy ship, as it stops doing anything and just drifts in the void of space.

"Come on, let's not let Kenji have all the fun." You say to Nina.
"Right, raising Diffusion Crystal Drive output! It's all you Mira!" Nina says.
"Got it, take this, Energy Whip!" You yell.
You unfurl an oversized whip, energize it, and charge at the remaining enemy ship. You lash out at the enemy ship, its Distortion Field coming to life, but it falters and eventually fails under your assault. The Energy Whip bites into the hull, melting every part it comes in contact with. You crack the Energy Whip again and again, cutting off sections of the enemy ship before simply bisecting what's left, the separated halves exploding.

"Awesome!" Kenji exclaims.
"Wow, the girls and I were coming over to help you with the battleships, but it looks like that wasn't needed." Yagyuu says.

Before you can respond, the Dimensional Distortion readings that the Blühende Rose had picked earlier intensify. A green and white sphere 200 meters in diameter appears midway between you and the Nadesico.

????? appears
Roll 2d20, each die is a separate result
1-10|'Fish Bowl' mech x8
11-19|'Big Horn' Super Robot x2
20|All of the above

Roll 7, 11

Elite Unknown Appears
Roll 1d6
1-3|Bastard child of a Gundam and Variable Fighter on steroids
4-6|A Super Robot that looks like it did too much cocaine

Roll 5

The sphere breaks apart, and suddenly a group of the same Unknowns that appeared in Sasebo appear. You count eight 'Fish Bowl' mechs and two 'Big Horn' Super Robots. There's also a third type of machine that you haven't seen before, but are certain must be a custom job. For starters, it's absolutely massive, standing at 60 meters tall. It shares the same color scheme as its compatriots, but it also has a pure white stripe going diagonally down its chest from left to right. Unlike its allies, this Super Robot doesn't have any blocky segments, it's entire body sleek and curved. It's also covered in what looks like graffiti, there's a rictus grin spray painted onto what would otherwise be a featureless faceplate, and a pair of rust red eyes only adds to the unhinged look. The group of unknowns first looks over at the Nadesico, then over in your direction.

You feel a chill run down your spine as every single unknown seems to focus on you.

Tactical Information
-The Unknowns are between the Nadesico and its Aestivalis squads and your group, consisting of the Blühende Rose, Jeeg team, and Build Angels
-You are still within the debris field, so you can use large enough pieces as cover in a pinch
-The Graffiti Robot seems very dangerous
-The Unknowns are starting to move toward you
-The Nadesico can more easily recharge the Phase Transition Engine in space
-Current Will of every pilot in the group-7
-No Jeeg parts have been used, but due to being in space, the only usable Jeeg parts are the Jeeg bazooka

Transdimensional Assistance
The D?????? G????? and G??G??G?? will appear to assist at...some point in this combat

What will you do?

Select a plan

[ ] Pincer Attack
Attack with both groups from both sides
-Will surround the enemy
-Fighting will likely devolve into a messy free for all
-Your group (Jeeg team, Blühende Rose, and Build Angels) will be at risk of friendly fire if the Nadesico fires a Gravity Blast

[ ] Head of the snake
Focus attacks on the Graffiti Robot
-You and Steel Jeeg will focus fire on the Graffiti Robot to destroy it, or at least force it to retreat
-You do not know if retreat or destruction of the Graffiti Robot will cause the other Unknowns to also retreat
-Everyone else will run interference against the other Unknowns

[ ] Divide and Conquer
Draw the attention of the Graffiti Robot
-You will distract the Graffiti Robot while everyone else deals with the other Unknowns
-Steel Jeeg will take on the 'Big Horn' Super Robots
-Everyone else will focus on killing 'Fish Bowl' mechs

[ ] Write-in
-Your plan should have the following: What will you do? What will Kenji do? Who will deal with the fish bowls, and who will deal with the Big Horns? What will the Nadesico do? Remember you can group people as follows: Jeeg team (Kenji and Tsubaki), Build Angels, Aestivalis pair (Gai and Akito), Aestivalis Trio (Ryoko, Hikaru, and Izumi) and the Nadesico itself in addition to Mira
Also, please give your plan a cool or clever name. Shitpost names of plans will be accepted if they reference Nadesico, Kotetsushin Jeeg, or Original Generation

A/N: And here's the update! Sorry if things seem rushed or short, but early Nadesico enemies just don't seem like a big threat in small numbers in the early game. Anyway, vote and discuss please, and as always, I welcome constructive criticism!

Edit: fixed a typo with Jeeg's HP and added incoming transdimensional assistance I forgot to include

Part of it just has been a lack of time on my part, but I'm enjoying the way things are going.

I'm also plotting.

[X] Rocks Fall, Enemies Die
- grab hold of the largest piece of debris you can find, and use your uncharged energy whip like a slig. Try to take off the graffiti bot's head. If nothing else, big rock will hopefully distract so you can maneuver out of firing line of the nadesico
