[X] Hard Suit (Requires Fabrication): A form of light power armour commonly used by special forces and militia emergency response teams. Provides good mobility, low signature and good protection in combat, but low protection against environmental hazards.

[X] Type-228 Sustained Fire Weapon: A copy of the Cherry Arms Collective 'raydart' sustained fire weapon, the type 228 is a successor to old machine guns. While somewhat heavier it uses the same .5 cm rounds as the 221. Used to suppress enemy infantry and engage enemy drone swarms.
[X] CRC Tantalas Micro-Grenade Producer: A device that produces a variety of micro grenades from fabrication stock. These can be thrown or fired from an assault catapult.
[X] Thrust Pack: A standard zero-G jump pack. Can boost jumps in gravity though only to a limited degree.

We're a doctor.

Who knows huge amounts about the things wot make em go boom.

Let's act like it.

If we get to the control centre we might be able to obtain more information about the where, why, and who.

And if we happen to meet the other new guests making themselves welcome so explosively, we can take a few aside and ask them some questions.

Minus a few limbs.

Plan: Future Faceroller

While largely replaced by the much easier to handle Combat Catapults, the sheer number if guided micro-missiles that a missile gun can fire can be impressive, and they provide excellent platforms for point defence suppression and the deployment of jammers. The 219 is an updated copy of the Peony Arms Acrididae.

Okay, I now have two plan ideas, one stolen from Cassiemouse's big stompy plan.

The original is the stealth loadout. High speed, low drag. Very Kamen Rider.

[X] Tactical Suit: a close fitting garment of smart matter, tactical suits are standard wear for most Gardenite light infantry. Provides good mobility, very low signature, average protection in combat and low protection against environmental hazards.
[X] CRC Black Light Offensive electromagnetic pod: A fairly standard offensive electronics suite, capable of disrupting enemy communication and sensor systems and the control links for enemy UAVs and drones.
[X] CRC Type 221 Tactical Carbine: While hand held weapons have become secondary in most combat operations, they are often still useful, especially in very close assaults. Uses a frontal magazine and fires .5cm rounds electromagnetically. It's operating mechanisms are from the Iris Defence force G-442 but with updated control ergonomics.
[X] CRC Type-1002 Whipsword: A nanotech sword capable of varying its length and sharpness, or become a powered whip.
[X] Locust Legs (Requires Fabrication): A set of external leg implants, locust legs allow for very long jumps and fast traversal.

The second is to go Full Newtype. Heavy armor, heavy weapons, all-range attacks, lots of fun.

[X] Boarding Shell (Requires Fabrication): A powered combat hardsuit designed for espaiters and combat engineering teams, boarding shells provide average mobility, low signature and good protection from both combat and environmental hazards such as rads.
[X] CRC Type-11 Funnel Crown: Used heavily by elite assault troops, a funnel crowd deploys a cloud of eight drones called funnels, each mounting a powerful beam weapon.

If you want to vote for everything Ford did, voting for-

I never knew you people love light machine guns so much.
Aside from the two Shoulder Weapons that require fabrication, IMO it seems like the most well-rounded general use weapon.

It's probably a good idea to cover things that aren't covered. Electronics warfare seems like a useful angle to invest in, as such, particularly given the EXEC function implications. Might be able to do something unexpected with it, since it seems like a reasonably safe assumption that whatever the party was meant to be like, the EXEC functions weren't part of the plan, and might not have been quite prepared for. (otherwise the puzzles would have been rather pointless, for instance) So far, it seems like the only reason nobody's memory got wiped is because the system bugged out when trying to process us and we were the first in the queue, so chances are whoever's running this ship is not going to be happy to see the party like this, after all. Every ace up our sleeves counts.

Main character seems to know a lot about weapons, so relegating ourselves to support role might not necessarily be optimal, but we'll have to see how it goes.

With the ship being harshly hit by something, encountering environmental damage and potential exposure to space seems like a safe bet. Both control centre and engineering would be obvious targets for boarders, while crew sections are probably mostly to entirely abandoned during battle or otherwise emergency and not have anything too useful, but might offer insights on what exactly this place is. (spooky or otherwise) Shuttle bay seems dangerous since if this ship is under attack, whoever's on the other end might just open fire at any shuttles launching, and it also wouldn't give anyone in the party answers as to what happened. Linking up with the possible boarders might be useful, but it's also a big gamble whether or not they'd be at all friendly. With this in mind:

Pod for EW, missile gun to support jamming or suppress PD for Luyu's funnels, thrust pack and boarding shell to cover both potential hazards and in case we need to move around in zero-G, and whipsword because whipswords are cool.

Then head to the control centre. It's the place with greatest chances of finding out exactly what is happening, I think, and the sooner we get there, the less shot up it will likely be and the greater the chances to find out something. More dangerous, too, but exploded computers tell no tales.
