We have the beauty thing, we need to get social skills.

Hivemind assemble

I'm guessing the Permitted option gives some combat experience, the Suppressed option gives some social experience, and the Compromise option gives a little of both. It might have different effects though, like something to do with how Charlotte thinks about her internal desire to pursue militaristic ambitions. Not really sure.

Which kind of engineering?

Apologies for not getting to this while voting was ongoing, but the intent of the "Engineering Undergraduate" option was to be a First Year 'General Engineering' student, i.e.: in an interdisciplinary program that sometimes universities offer to let STEM majors knock out prerequisites and get exposed to a variety of fields before switching into something more appropriate to a career.

As stated explicitly in the explainer tab, the main advantage of this is being better at boozing it up and retaining slightly more complete STEM knowledge than the others.

In all cases, Charlotte still has the benefits of a 21st century education up to a high school diploma and access to common resources.

Huh, that isn't a thing in my country.

... A 21st century education's teachings can vary a lot, so i won't assume that she knows something and just pester you about it if i believe it is something that she could reasonably know with a high school education and would be useful for something.

It doesn't let me post without a vote, even after checking the box to post without a vote, does anyone know where i should report that? Or is it intentional?

Exhack would presumably have had to explicitly enable that, though I have no idea if they would have meant to. I can't imagine why they would have.
