Is it in Chimera, or is it some sort of, "Fool people's minds" power, or etc, etc? Actually... is there a way to transcribe some of the kinds of powers that are out there?

The powers aren't actually restricted to any particular Clade*. They all describe effects, and it's up to you to describe the mechanism. So the disguise power could be fooling people's minds, it could be molding your flesh into the right shape, it could be projecting holograms, however you want to explain it is fine.

As for the list of powers... uh, it's a lot. Even the "quick reference" table in the rulebook that only has a single line for each power still covers two full pages. It's literally more than fifty powers, most of them come in levels 1-5, and a lot of them have multiple different options to choose from at each level. So you have standard stuff like super strength, flying, and telepathy, more specific stuff like controlling the weather, good luck, or transforming into animals, and really bizarre things like getting visions of anyone who mentions your name or getting the powers of anyone you eat a piece of.

There's a reason I'm handling character creation like this instead of just giving you a list of powers to pick from.

*Technically about half of the powers are associated with a specific Clade, but you can still take those powers. They don't even cost you any more xp than usual. You just have to have at least half your dots in powers come from the list of universal powers or the list associated with your Clade. In practice, you have to try pretty hard to break this rule, and frankly I don't know how much I care about sticking to it.
 
Changing my vote to include metal because I don't like soul. If we want to play test subject, I want body horror damnit.

So I'm going to close the vote here, because I don't think we're gonna get new votes at this point. That being said, I'm not terribly comfortable moving forward with these results, since things are way too close in a vote that had a lot of options to choose from. Again, that's on me, this is learning experience.

What I'm going to do instead is hold a new vote where things are a lot more structured. That should give much more definitive results. And even if it doesn't, I'm still going to move forward with whatever we've got at that point, because there's only so long I can spend on this vote.
