[X][TOD] Plan Gather Support
-[X] Buy a permanent meeting room, either an office or small building. 5 funds. Gives +1 action.
-[X] Contact various churches to find ones that may officially support you.

Universal Actions:

[] Require dues
--[] Small
--[] Medium
--[] Large
--[] Based on income
-[] Allow delinquent members

More dues reduces membership but increases income. Allowing delinquent members offsets the membership decrease but you also get less income.
Question: is it possible to have dues based on income, but also allow delinquent members? (To represent an organization which asks people to contribute what they can, but also allows those who cannot pay dues to assist.) Or is that redundant?

Yeah that's possible. Basically dues by income is you're required to pay an amount based on how much income you make per year rather than a flat amount for the entire organization, where allowing delinquency is just not kicking people out if they don't pay. So not redundant.

So, I just realized I mare a typo in saying how you should vote. The acronym should be after the [x]

Like this:

[X][WCUA] Plan do stuff

[X][TFHM] Setting Roots

Not allowing delinquent members was my only objection and it has since been added.

Ah, an unfavorable position. My favorite!

[X] [AFYS] Plan: A Friend of a Friend
-[X] Set up contacts in railroad unions for potentially striking and opportune times.

@Physici, how are funds acquired? Are they automatically allotted to us at the beginning of each turn, based on QM fiat/behind-the-scenes math, or do we need to actively pursue the Require Dues action in order to start making a steady income?

-[X] Buy a permanent meeting room, either an office or small building. 5 funds. Gives +1 action. Preference would be given to somewhere in the immigrant-dominated neighborhoods of New York
-[X] Contact various churches and synagogues in New York to find ones that are willing to officially support your values.

Every organization has a multiplier for people gained per vote on rounds where voting increases your supporters (so the previous vote and next one) and a multiplier for funds per capita which is determined by behind-the-scenes math based on your starting decisions. I will not reveal anymore details because that would allow for gaming the system. Requiring dues will vastly increase your income but your income won't disappear if you don't do it.

I see! Well, for IC reasons I will be avoiding the require dues option (it seems to go against the ideological foundations of the movement, and also the Friends have little central organizational infrastructure for which to accumulate funds towards by design), but that is nice to know.

I like this obfuscation. Keeps me in the mindset of what my "character" would do, as opposed to what is most optimal.

4 funds.

Edit: Ah, right a question. Actions are gained exclusively from player support, or does having a higher membership weigh in on it?

They're based on membership, which in turn is based on player support.

Edit: Also since we already got like 10/13 plans I've moved the vote period down a day.

[X][RFAA] Plan Ideological Foundations
-[X] Send agitators to local unions to try to convince them of the necessity of Anarcho-Collectivism.
-[X] Buy a permanent meeting room, either an office or small building. 5 funds. Gives +1 action.

I think the first thing that needs to be done is to actually establish a permanent base of operations, and from there spread our ideology across the city; while anarchism itself has taken root in America by now, it would be foolish to assume that the American proletariat would know exactly what Anarcho-Collectivism is as a ideology. Plus, meeting with local unions could prove useful if we attempt to unionize ship and/or factory workers.

RFAA: NO YOU CAN'T DIVIDE THE RURAL PROLETARIAT! WITH YOUR RATIONAL POLICY AND Citizen's Dividends, We need them to be angry so they can support the Abolition of the state!!

LLRP: I can't hear you over the SOUND OF MY LAND REFORMING PLATFORM!
Making textual wojak memes of other people who are trying to play and enjoy this game does not come across to me as very sportsmanlike.

[X] [APFA] Plan: Undercutting Machine Politics
-[X] Reach out to new immigrants and help them integrate in exchange for joining the APFA. 2 funds.
