In Fine, Solum Est Tibi (A Quest in Rome, During The Fall of the Republic)

[X]Gather Volunteers to Storm the Wall: You are going to gather a group of madmen who want glory and honor who wish to take the city. All you need to do is to figure out a way onto the walls without requiring a great deal of resources.

Hey its a damn good crown to have.
Not as much of a Grass crown...

But fortunately it seems that we won't get a chance to earn it in this campaign.
Especially if we want a TRIUMPH.

We won't be the ones to get it, that honor falls on the Legate, but I'm sure he'd appeciate it if we gave him the enemy commander to display to the citizrns of Rome.
Well, we can't expect to get one in our first campaign... Unless Sulla kicks our legate upstairs and Flavia gets a sudden promotion...

So… any questions?
Yeah, a couple...

Have everyone in our reutine managed to escape the destruction of our Villa? And what has happened with the baby?

And are the siblings of Caesar alive, after the death of his mother?

And why was Aurelia crucified? IIRC roman citizens could not be crucified and the got beheaded instead...

Are the walls of the city squared or rounded?
Square. And they are not stone fortification but wooden palisades.

In saying that, they are still formidable and they have more hastily assembled battlements to assist them. So it's not as simple as climbing over them.

Yes everyone in the retinue are alive and well due to being free citizens.
And are the siblings of Caesar alive, after the death of his mother?
Caesars siblings had already fled rome when Marius came knocking.

They were declared out laws and are hiding in Cisalpine Gaul with some of Sullas crew.
And why was Aurelia crucified? IIRC roman citizens could not be crucified and the got beheaded instead...
Simple.

Marius had the senate strip her and her family of citizenship, declare them outlaws and then crucified her.

Making sure the simple fact that the senate took the time out of their day to make sure she wasn't a citizen to not make themselves look bad… also gives Sulla lots of ammo against them.

Of course we do not know that, but of course, with the civil war things can get dicey.

Also I read somewhere that whoever captured the enemy commander would receive first cut of the loot?

Is there any accuracy to that statement?
