I wonder how future roman historians will write of this. Because on one hand, we are not full blooded Roman and they will hate being reminded of this being a reason for our success.
On the other, we just recruited 25k warriors and maybe got Rome a permanent ally in the Black Sea. They are sure to have mixed feelings about it.
