I can't claim the central server as my own idea, sadly. The Yugioh R manga spinoff features a Duel Ring Server inside KaibaCorp's HQ that handles the data flow from every DuelDisk currently in operation, managing all ongoing duels simultaneously.

I have to laugh at how this is corporate sabotage route when we voted for her option. Definitely is interesting.

I want Koyo to be our Plus one.

He has manga winged Kuriboh. Who knows how that thing will interact with Pegasus.

Anyway, this is an interesting turn of events. Nice reason for us to go snooping in the same region as Slasher Villain Bakura and maybe see Mokuba in the dungeons.

It's hot ngl, but Kaiba is one of the last people I want to piss off.

Trying to knock Kiaba down a peg sounds fun, risky as it is, and what better way to prove dinosaurs>Dragons?
Also it's a hook to actually be involved in the plot aside from wanting to win, which is nice.

Honestly taking this deal seems like an incredibly dumb idea for Rex. Even if this tournament doesn't payout 10 grand then he has to consider what happens if he, one of the fourish suspects in a position to commit the espionage as a finalist, is caught doing it. He'd be dissing Kaibacorp and also throwing mud on Pegasus. He could kiss participation in any I^2 sponsored events and tournament circuits goodbye, as well as anything Kaibacorp may do in the future. Any event where sensitive information could be in the rounds is suddenly closed to him. He stands to lose a lot more in potential future gains than he would get by helping this girl out.
