  • [X] Krow: Roundmen are growing into short supply, so start trying to protect and farm them(while also forcefully gathering and grouping them), more heavily predating Krebs to make up for it.
[X] [Roundman] The Roundmen develop a linked-up hivemind to combat threats to the race as a whole
[X] [Roundman] Develop the ability to digest earth and dig for more territory.
[X] [Roundman] Increase sex drive and breeding period.

You might be missed it but the guy above you voted for hivemind and wasn't counted. Hovemind and farming should be tied at 2 each

As Roundmen continuously get shorter in supply, Krows have migrated to the shores where Roundmen are in better supply. They come into contact with the Krebs and form a fierce rivalry, with the Krows protecting their Roundman charges from predators.

Some Roundmen have formed uneasy alliances with the new Krowgards. Although they still defend their territory fiercely from other Roundmen, they've come to the accord that they should hunt together in order to feed the Krowgards with a steady supply of Roundmen and Nosemen. This decision was widely unpopular with the Roundmen that weren't under the Krowgards' protection.

Furthermore, since Krowgard territories span several Roundman territories, Krowgards are few and far in between and will attack each other on sight except during mating season.

Tribes have started to form among the Roundmen, divided into two categories-- Those who hunt other Roundmen in order to feed the Krowgard that they worship, and those Roundmen who maintain their independence. The fighting between these two categories is fierce, and have resulted in an excess of Roundman deaths and some very well-fed Krowgards.

Because of the new relationship between Roundmen and Krowgards, the Roundman's extinction have been postponed for now. However, the extremely large Krowgard territories and their extreme hostility to other predators will cause Krebs to go extinct in 2 turns, and Krows will go extinct in 7 turns

Select one monster to evolve
>Roundman
>Noseman
>Kreb (Will go extinct in 2 turns)
>Rokreb
>Krow (Will go extinct in 7 turns)
>Krowgard
>Seedling
>Stone Seedling
>Seadling

[X] Some Kreb develop burrowing claws to be able to hunt from down below where the airborne Krow and Krowgard can't reach.

Is nobody eating the stonekrebs?

[X] [Krebs] develop camouflage and become smaller in order to hide themselves from the Crowgard.

[X] Krebs: begin building shelters to hide and protect themselves from Krows, Krowgards and Roundmen

On second thought, I'm curious about this change.

EDIT: I'm switching back, since poeple are jumping on my original idea. I just don't think it is worth a separate post.

You have 2 sets of seedlings here?

[X] [Seedlings] Develop lighter bodies that requires less nutrition with big airy leaf structures for catch the wind to fly\float away from danger and to spread. The airy leaves can also catch nutrients in the air. Will occasionally poop excess nutrients as edible "nuts" that can be consumed by all species. Air Ferns.

One is the base seedlings, the other is the aquatic seAdlings.
Oh I see the spelling difference now! Thx.

My plan for the Air Ferns Is to then develop a relationship with the Deadlines where their lily pad leaves provide a landing for the Air Ferns in exchange for the nuts. Probably similar to other varieties too.
Plus I like the idea of flying plants.

Somehow I knew that pun would trip someone up

[X] [Stone Seedling] Grow and bloom, using the abundance of dead as fuel.

We need haunted forests, y'all, that'll scare them straight!

I am too tired to think about something. Neat flora option, I had similiar idea.

In regards to the Air Ferns, I expect them to have the same problem as the Seadlings, of having trouble getting enough nutrition but worse.

It might be worth it to give them a aerial phase and a ground phase.

Maybe have the ferns gather as many nutrients as they can below ground and then float up in order to turn those nutrients into sugars that they pack into seeds that they dump on the ground.

Reason for make them able to absorb background magic for making processes of photosynthesis and oxidation of sugars more efficient. Maybe cut some complicated reactions (photosynthesis is so crazy), take a shortcuts or replace inhibitors and catalysts substances - less need in rare chemicals, if reactions can be more controlled via mana effects.

Or make this plants interact with flying creatures in some way... Maybe catch them from time to time by thin and incredibly strong giant net made from variety of carbon materials... This what my tired brain giving me, but there are definetly many more possibilities to solve nutrition problem.

P.S. And now I've given myself a headache. Great.

I would say go to sleep you can reply tomorrow, your health is more important than commenting.

And those ideas will be nice to do before we send those ferns up.

Wouldn't that all be too complicated for a single vote? I think I am already pushing it with the nut...
