The Dragon Ascendant: NO SV: Welcome To Another Viserys Targaryen Quest (A Ck2 Quest)

A brief one:

1. The People want to cause another doom, that means you are going to be in a heavy intiruge focus in the east, as you try and play and counterplay the factions in the East that want to crack Valyria, release Typhoon and end the world.

2. That Apocolypse cult that has been mentioned numerous times in the past in the last quest, are back, and this time, they are using the Labyrinth of Leng to try and influence the world, by getting evil spirits to do the work for them. This is heavily relient on your court, as you need them to travel the world, and survive, while you try and do damage control from Westeros itself.

3. Sunset invasion, you need to prepare for the Aztecs coming to kill you all.

Fuck, they all sound fucking awesome!!!

I'm undecided,

[X]The Fire of the East: You saw a great flame consume the Great Grass Sea. A Fire was rising all over Essos that was consuming everything in it's path. And leading it was a Monster you thought you would never see. Typhoon, the Mother of Dragons. The Doom was coming again, and this time, it would consume the Entire World.

No.

Mostly because the Wildlings beat them in a way that was not militarily.
Lol. The wildlings were taught green seer magic bythe children and nature magiced the others into submission.

[X]The End of History: He showed you nothing. No great clash, no monster to fight, no invasion to stop. There was only Westeros. There was only you. And in the end, there were only the people under you, that could cause the most brutal thing you could witness. The End of Westeros. The End of a Dream that Aegon Started. The End of, some might call, history itself.

[X]The Box is Broken: There is Darkness coming, from below. Deep beneath the surface of the Great Labyrinth of Leng, there is a labyrinth that needs to be locked. The Lock is broken and now its evil is seeping all over the world. Chaos is being sowed. And whatever is locked in that deep dark hole. It wants out.

[X]The Sunset Invasion: The Ghosts of the Past are coming back to Haunt Westeros. Brandon the Shipwright found something in the west, and then he died. But it seems whatever came from the West is coming east. To enact Vengence for a crime no one knew was commited.

Ok, this one is my favorite, the idea of traveling through the world with our court seem extremely awesome

And approval vote for the other two, I want an Epic Battle at the end in which we can put our dragons into good use...

Honestly I don't have a big opinion on what doom we pick, but I do think stopping the inquisition and getting these new magic users loyal to us is very important. I'm thinging either through a(some) institutions and/or creating the equivalent of magic Knights.

Well, it seem that the Aztec invasion is winning

I have to say that these Aztecs are really fucking vindicative, I don´t know what Brandon the Shipwright did to piss them off, but taking revenge for something against the whole Westeros for something that a few dozen Northmen did 3000-4000 years ago is REALLY unreasonable.

Either that, or these Aztecs are the Dawi from Warhammer.

Remember: Context is important. And we have little yet.

All I will say is this: Brandon the Shipwright made Columbus look like a peaceful explorer.

And unlike Columbus he and his crew wrecked everything for over two thousand years and said Aztecs are still picking up the pieces.

Plus what with Brandon literally putting a magic sea barrier over the western seas didn't help the matter.

Ok, that explains some of it, but still whatever happened, it happened was thousands of years ago...

Taking revenge for something that happened more than 500 generations away, on some dudes whose only crime is to be born in the same continent as Brandom the Shipwright, is still really unreasonable.

Did he at least have a good/semi-decent Reason, or was he just being an Asshat?
Well yes and no.

Yes because those people were blood thirsty savages that butchered half his crew on first contact, held him prisoner for twenty years and used his blood to fuel an ancient complex that literally gave these people magic super powers and his Kings blood could make the so powerful that they wished to take over their continent and later the world.

No in that his response was to use forbidden magic to make sure they lost all their children for ten years and every hundred years, every child from a babe to 8 would have to be brutally BuchEred by their parents or everyone in their civilization (either in the town or city they dwelled in) will die by losing all control and murdering eachother.

And it has been going on for 3000 years.

Not only are they trying to break their curse but they want to put the same curse on Westeros.

Guys, seriously, why do you all love 'End of History' so much?

Because the way I see it, it's only getting pushed so hard out of some misguided Notion of 'muh Realizm!!!' (you know, in a World with Magic and Dragons!!) due to the Playstyle we chose, even though it just seems like the most dull and boring out of the four available Options to me.

This, so much of this...

We have awakened the Dragons, we have the fucking Bill Nye as a magic Maester, why do you want to take an option which doesn´t involve anything of that awesome stuff?

I was thinking on voting the "End of history" option. Something about "Humanity being the bringer of its destruction" ringing with me.

But I can see why it could be the less ground-breaking of the options, so I'm going to vote for the one less than nothing is known. The West.
