There Was A Different Idea: An MCU Producer Quest

Speaking of properties we could turn into real money makers, maybe we should finally come up with a plan for the Hulk that throws the Execs a bone? There are some fantastic, off-the-wall Hulk stories that I think we could tell separately from Avengers Phase One before we have him join in on one of the later Avengers movies.

For instance, the coolest Hulk of them all—Worldbreaker Hulk.

 
While I'd quite like Daredevil the contract will default back to us in time, better to not waste money especially with Rothman being upfront about their own interests with these properties being mostly not there except with X-men.

I like the Skrulls but I really really like Dr. Doom and want him to be done well... I do think Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are weird being barred from being called mutants, but they are fun characters. Though we technically already own (jointly) Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Skrulls, and The Watcher, so paying for that is just for full rights... that seems wasteful compared to just outright buying Fantastic Four and that rogues gallery.

The Fantastic Four is a way bigger get then the other deal for the same price. if we dont take them now while we have the chance who knows when we will be able to get them again and for how much

We could have Banner participate during Avengers and then have him/Hulk end up just about anywhere afterwards for Hulk 2 - Banner doesn't have full control, so Hulk could jump through the portal/onto the alien spaceship, or he could just decide to flee from the city when the fighting is done and people with weapons are trying to talk to him.

Eh, there's no guarantee of that. Our films are doing better than in the Original Timeline, that means Fox are likely to be even more eager than OTL to make a new Daredevil film and renew their rights.

Daredevil's status is much like Spider-Man's - as long as they keep making films they keep the rights.

These are some solid points. @overmind do the Fantastic Four come with Dr. Doom, the Silver Surfer, and Galactus? There were already plans mentioned for some of those, so I think we ought to go for it if it comes with those awesome villains.
 
Note that if the Fantastic Four do come with Dr. Doom and/or Galactus, they both make great all-purpose villains who don't necessarily have to be in an F4 movie/show to be interesting.

Unless the list in the front page shows them as separated, then you can assume that they are included.

Dr. Doom would do well for our War Machine TV series second season, and Galactus is a great Avengers tier threat.

And looking at the rights list, yeah the Scarlet Witch option is just consolidating rights we already have to prevent Fox using them - and I don't care if Fox uses them.

Oh well. Doom is still good enough to carry a movie as a villain anyway. I've also added an alternative option to my vote wherein we buy Deadpool, Galactus, and Kang to fill out our villain roster instead of getting the Fantastic Four, though just buying the F4 with Deadpool would be my preferred option.

Well, the deal isn't quite the steal that it was... but it does still come with Dr. Doom and an entire different lineup of heroes centered in another part of the country. With the other options almost all of our stuff would be based in/around New York still.

From being on TruckOnEmptyRoad's Fox Director Quest, I'm thinking we can relocate the Fantastic 4 to either San Francisco or Florida. San Francisco because of Silicon Valley and Florida because of Cape Canaveral and Florida Man jokes.
 
Oh mannnn, with Doom we even have a perfect set up with the upcoming Avengers movie for him to get a whole bunch of alien tech and take the world stage like he was always meant to.

Dang it, now I have to stay with this.

I would much, much, much rather we keep their origin as astronauts than do the weird techbro thing from the 2015 reboot.
