I suppose some final thoughts from me?
Hmm…
The Seven Years' War will be the first big event in this quest. You can expect the Philadelphia start point to dive right in as the French & Indian Theater of the war started two years before the European conflict.
France should have7-8 turns before the Revolution starts up unless players manage to derail things. France also participated in the Seven Years' War, and given your start in the continent's great power, you'll have more immediate chances to muck about.
Russia played a part there too, so same goes for them. There could be an opportunity to tilt succession one way or another whenever Elizabeth passes, if you play your cards right.
Food for thought.
Edit:
A little bit on the backgrounds as well…. The two front-runners are the slowest of the lot. Science and politics take time as opposed to cult shenanigans, fielding some barely-trained recruits, or just setting the world on fire.
This isn't to say you can't do military stuff, just that it will take longer. It also won't be your specialization.
