Okay, Oldtown would have gotten one anyway, if the Citadel-remnants can be remodelled that's perfect.
Dorne's magic orders must be integrated.

Aside from that we'll propably want one east and one west for simple coverage. The Vale, maybe in Gulltown, and one in KL as the most populous city (and therefore the area with the most candidates).
Everyone in the Riverlands can have the choice to go to a Scholarium in any direction.

[X] Facilities in:
-[X] Dreadfort (locked in)
-[X] Oldtown (free?)
-[X] Sunspear (free)
-[X] King's Landing
-[X] Gulltown

Possibly one more in the Stormlands for Stannis?

Edit: Oh hey, I actually agree with Azel for the most part, miracle of miracles, ninja of ninjas.
Gotta watch out for those Devil Ninjas. They're not as deadly as Pirate Ninjas, lacking the poisoned hooks and trained attack parrots, but they're even sneakier, and their fine print is vicious.

The Stormlands have no capital in any sense of the word and not only going back on the deal with Bolton, but also giving one branch to the Starks will cause serious problems in the North.
Whatever happened to that big castle to from which stannis rules. I was pretty sure that had a town.

As for the roose thing, I didn't mention his because his branch was automatic. Pretty sure we didn't promise him an exclusive branch or anything crazy like that. I want a branch in wintefell to study rune lore and the wall.

Did Rose stipulate that he have the only one in the North? It just seems like a lot of area for just one school to service.
The North is so poorly populated that even a single Scholarium branch is probably going to have to accept transfer students from other provinces to have a decent sized class. More than one Scholarium branch would just be excessive and wasteful, at least for the next however many years.

If we hadn't already promised to build it in Roose's land, I would support White Harbor way before Winterfell.

It's a lot of area, but not that much population.
If it weren't for our deal with Bolton I'd put one in Whiteharbor, but Dreadfort is close enough that they won't need their own.
I'll say this much: Roose has a plan for stretching the Reach of the branch in the Dreadfort as far as possible so that the whole North is properly serviced.

[X] Plan magic proliferation
-[X]Stormland's capital
-[X] Kings landing
-[X] Dorne
-[X] Winterfell

You would probably be better served putting a branch at Weeping Town, than Storm's End. At least that is a town. Storm's End is well a castle with a prosperous village attached to it, not because its lords were bad at management, but there is only so much room to actually build there and the harbor is... er not the best as Steffon and Casandra found out.

[X] Plan Spread Out

[X] Plan Spread Out
-[X] Dreadfort / Duchy of the Dreadlands (automatic)
-[X] Citadel / Duchy of Oldtown (automatic)
-[X] Sunspear / Duchy of Eastern Dorne (automatic)
-[X] Kings Landing / Governorship of the Southern Crownlands (1st Action)
-[X] Greyport / Duchy of Greyport (1st Action)
-[X] Gulltown / Duchy of Runestone (2nd Action)
-[X] Saltpans / Duchy of Greater Darry (2nd Action)

Basically one per former LP-ship with the exception of the Iron Isles due to being... well... a bit of a backwater. Also focusing on cities.
For the Riverlands, the alternative would be to establish it in Seaguard, though that carries some potentially destabilizing risk for the Mallister / Frey situation, so Saltpans looks much better.
The turn after, I'd like for another set up in Summerhall and second in Stony Shore. Much as it the latter is still underpopulated, it would be another source of attraction to immigrants for the region since magic = money to be made from various things that support the institution.

Summerhall because it neatly answers the "what about the Stormlands" question and also sets the groundwork for turning that place with ancestral ties to us into the first major population center in the region, since it's obvious people will be attracted to living there once we rebuild it.

Completely forgot about Summerhall. We already voted to have a branch there even.

I know it's incidental, but I like how this pretty much continues to reward our loyalists!

I hope he works with Stark.
Wintertown is no metropol, but still the second biggest town up north.

I think Roose is going to have to work with Stark and Manderly. Winterfell and White Harbor are the biggest population concentrations in the North

If Roose can be said to have any weakness, it is not desiring anything to do with Stark except styling on them and lessening their position.

Not that he can't do subtle, it's just not going to be subtle enough for us not to see it, and that's what the play is going to be unless we put an end to it.

That's more House Bolton's weakness tbh. Their ancestral inferiority complex is their biggest weakness. They always seem to tunnel vision when it comes to the Starks.

Also I am not really comfortable of trying to have one Scholarium institution try and service the entirety of the North permanently considering that the population will expand and grow over the coming years. Like maybe four for the North as population balloons. But for now one is enough.
