The Monkey 52 Multiverse (DB/Dragon Ball Quest)

The heroes of Earth, while strong on their own, were always bound to work alongside others as groups, eventually join together as one big team to defeat threats that they alone never could. However, many would have sidekicks and allies in their own cities, like with Goku and his friends, Superman having Lois Lane and the Daily Planet. But no one would be more famous than the Dynamic Duo of Batman and Robin.

It all began on April 29th, 2004, about two years since Bruce Wayne had began his crusade on Gotham's criminal element, with a very successful first year that had him topple the empire of the Falcone Crime Family, which then led to several gangs and mobs trying to take control of the power vacuum that had occurred.
But on that night, he wasn't patrolling in Gotham as Batman like he had wanted, but was acting with his Bruce Wayne persona on a date with a woman named Julie Madison and they went to a performance at the Hailey circus.

There he had been watching a performance by the Flying Graysons, which included two parents and a 12-years old boy who could do a perfect quadruple jump with impeccable skill. However, the performance was interrupted by an attack of a small group of thugs that worked for the Galante Crime Family. The attack ended with the deaths of John and Mary Grayson, leaving their son Richard an orphan.

Bruce used his influence to adopt the boy as soon as he possibly could and tried his best to help the boy with the pain, who was getting consumed with anger and the desire for vengeance rather quickly. When Richard, or Dick as he was called for short, discovered the Batcave, he demanded that Bruce would help him get revenge, to which Bruce agreed reluctantly, but only after the boy would get sufficient training. Dick agreed to that.

Bruce spent several good months to train Dick, alongside having him meet and talk and train with both Goku and Clark, hoping that their positive attitudes and bright outlooks on life could prevent the boy from falling into darkness like he did. After enough training, Dick became Robin the Boy Wonder, Batman's newest sidekick. Eventually they found the man who led the attack that caused the death of the Graysons, Tobias Whales, and instead of taking revenge, Dick was convinced to put him behind bars.

Over a span of a few years they would become recognized across all of Gotham City, both feared by criminals all over the large city, both small-time and dons alike. In that time they also fought various types of supervillains that rose up in the ranks and caused chaos, including The Joker, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Killer Crock, Clayface and many, many more. After a year of working together they were joined by Barbara Gordon, the daughter of police commissioner James Gordon, who had made herself a suit and took the name Batgirl.

When it came to their private lives, both Bruce and Dick started to become better and happier people in general, as Dick started going to school in Gotham City High School alongside Barbara, becoming a very friendly kid to hang around with, which made him the kind of person that Bruce hoped to grow into one day, but couldn't. Because of that he tried to keep Dick as close to him as possible. However, the two had a falling out that caused Dick to leave Bruce and go on his own way, but what was the reason?

[ ] On one mission, Dick was nearly gunned down by the Joker, but managed to survive the incident, albeit injured. Fearing for his life and not wanting to lose another person close to him, Bruce forced Dick to stop helping him out which led to an argument between the two. The argument ended with the two stopping their partnership while Dick was sent away to a boarding school in Jump City, California. There he would found and lead his own team known as the Teen Titans.

[ ] As he grew up more, Dick started disliking being under Bruce's thumb and shadow, which prevented people from taking him as a serious hero. When he told Bruce that he wanted to move away from their partnership and do his own thing, Bruce rejected him outright, which started a very heated argument that ended with the two breaking up their partnership and Dick willfully leaving to a boarding school in Jump City, California. There he would found and lead his own team known as the Teen Titans.

The heroes of Earth at the beginning of their careers were just limited to protecting their own cities from any criminal events that would occur, no matter how big or how small. They usually didn't need to help another hero and when they would meet other heroes, they would usually just hang out in their own way rather than fight crime together. There was no real partnership between the heroes that left them doing their own thing.

However, things changed when there was a threat that required all of their assistance, which appeared around May 2006. A threat to all of them that they couldn't defeat by themselves. This even was the first time the heroes had to fight together in order to save not only their cities, but the entire world.

What was that event/threat?

[ ] The invasion of the White Martians. The White Martians had come to Earth in order to enslave it and put it under their rule as they wanted to start their own intergalactic empire, while also finding and killing the last of the Green Martians that they hated so much. Their forces were so many and incredibly powerful that the heroes had to work together to drive them off the planet. Eventually the heroes drove them away from the planet after a grueling battle and founded the Justice League of America.

[ ] A large intergalactic alien starfish by the name of Starro tried to take over the Earth, using its starfish-shaped spores to take over people's minds and force him into his mind-hive. The fact that many people across the world were being mind-controlled forced the heroes to band together to stop the alien. Eventually the combined efforts of the group managed to kill the alien, releasing all of its victims from mind control. Afterwards they founded the Justice League of America.

[ ] Lex Luthor joined forces with other supervillains such as Poison Ivy, Cheetah, Gorilla Grodd, Piccolo Junior, Dr. Wheelo and Giganta in order to kill the heroes one at a time, creating their Legion of Doom. At first their efforts against each hero were very successful, forcing the heroes to work together to defeat the villains. In the end, while the battle was hard-fought, the heroes won thanks to the fact that the leadership of the Legion of Doom was not united. After sending all of the villains to jail, the heroes founded the Justice League of America.

[ ] The New God Steppenwolf arrived on Earth to try and conquer it in the name of Darkseid, alongside a group of elite warrior women called The Furies and an army of Parademons. The massive army forced the heroes to work together to not only stop the army, but also to defeat Steppenwolf and the four Furies. Eventually the New Gods were driven back to Apocalypse, where Steppenwolf was killed by his leader and nephew Darkseid. The heroes on Earth founded the Justice League of America in order to prepare for more invasions in the future.

Who were the seven founding members of the Justice League?

[ ] Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Son Goku, The Flash, The Atom and Martian Manhunter.

In the end, the world was overjoyed with the founding of the Justice League and despite some distrust from the government, the heroes returned to their normal lives as they got even more praise and appreciation from the general populace, knowing that they had now a way to fight the foes that they never could be themselves.

When Dick moved in to Jump City in late 2007, sometime after the founding of the Justice League, he was inspired to make his own team in case that he wasn't capable of fighting crime by himself. At first he went to high school normally while patrolling the streets as Robin for a few hours to get a read on the level of criminal activity in the city. From that he had gained enough info that he was capable of fighting crime on his own in the city.

However, as Robin first started to appear on the news on the fact that he was fighting crime without Batman, it got the attention of several other sidekicks and teenage Meta-Humans who wanted to do some good and fight crime on their own. Because of that they moved to jump city and met up with Robin in order to work alongside him.

The former sidekick of Batman agreed and together they founded the Teen Titans, a group of teenage superheroes who kicked as much butts as their adult counterparts while still going to school. Their members consisted of...

[ ] Robin, Donna Troy, Speedy, Kid Flash and Bumblebee.
[ ] Robin, Speedy, Beast Boy, Kid Flash and Bumblebee.
[ ] Robin, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven and Starfire.
[ ] Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Speedy and Batgirl.
[ ] Robin, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven and Donna Troy.

The team quickly made a media splash and entered the spotlight, making them both happy and rather uncomfortable in contrast to how they lived their lives previously. Their activities in stopping small crimes and helping out the citizens of Jump City in plenty of menial activities not only increased their popularity, but also gained them some respect from the Justice League and other adult heroes, especially from Superman and Batman.

But their presence brought itself a form of escalation. Teenage Meta-Humans and other types of super-criminals came in to try to challenge and defeat the Titans, putting the team in more and more harrowing trials while they had to solve conflicts that arose between them from time to time. In the end of the day, the team would solve their issues and defeat the villains and go back to their tower to do something fun.

However, they had one very big adversary that constantly tried to take the Titans down with many forms of threats to the team. That big adversary was none other than...

[ ] The H.I.V.E. A scientific group that wanted to take over the world, H.I.V.E. saw the team as a threat to their operations, sending after them many adversaries, with the biggest ace being The Fearsome Five.
[ ] Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke the Terminator had his eyes on Robin and wanted him to become his disciple. He challenged the team on many occasions, mostly to test Robin whom became his nemesis.
[ ] The Church of Blood. A cult which worshiped the entity Trigon, their leader Brother Blood desired great power to serve as the right-hand man of the demon and so constantly tried to capture and absorb the powers of the Titans.

Well, not a very long one here with a pretty thin summary of everything, but next update will basically be the summary of the Saiyan Saga in this universe. I hope that you enjoyed this update. After the formation of the Justice League, there were a few years of relative peace. Well, relative meant that there was never any successful big attacks in the world and the the heroes simply returned to fighting their own villains in their own city, with no need to unite for a long while.

However, that changed on April 17th, 2009. That day, the most devastating opponents that the heroes of Earth had to face had come to the planet. They did not only cause the most damage to the planet of all of the enemies beforehand, but also completely undermined Son Goku as a hero in the eyes of the public.

These enemies were non other than Saiyans, his own people.

The fact that he was a Saiyan had been disclosed to him a few years prior to the attack, when the Justice League was first formed because Hawkgirl had a bad history with Saiyans and recognized Goku as a Saiyan.

Around that period of time, Son Goku had just been doing his thing of protecting West City alongside his friends as its defender and hero and was doing his best to raise his son Gohan, who had been looking up to both him and the Justice League, as well as Bulma by showing the desire to become both a scholar and a superhero. Goku had also restarted his own romantic life, which was much harder for kind-hearted dunce like him, but he figured it out.

But who was that woman in that particular point in his life?

[ ] At that period in time, he started getting closer to Chichi, who had been spending more time as his sparring partner than someone who fought criminals alongside him and was very enthusiastic of Gohan's scholarship dreams and less supportive of his superhero dreams.
[ ] At that period in time, he started getting closer to Suno, who had been vigorously helping him fight criminals on the streets, while also spending a bit of time as his sparring partner. She was supportive of Gohan when it came to his dreams and he enjoyed having her around.
[ ] At that period in time, he started getting closer to one of his more small-time, street-level enemies, Launch. Much like with Lady Shiva in the past, Goku started developing a strange chemistry with the criminal as she constantly flirted with him, which turned into a more cat-and-mouse affair, much like with Batman and Catwoman.
[ ] At that period in time he started getting closer to Hawkgirl, who at first didn't trust him at all and was constantly hostile to him, but eventually the two became good friends when she realized that he was just a good person and later she fell in love with him after a few adventures together and it took him time to reciprocate those feelings.
[ ] At that period in time he started getting closer to a young martial artist/magician named Yurin, who had wanted to challenge him. They became quick friends and then it took a bit of time before they started dating. She also started to act as a sort of a big sister to Gohan, making him a lot more interested in magic than he was before.
[ ] At that period in time Lady Shiva had reappeared in West City and returned into Goku's life after disappearing for more than five years. She and Gohan had a rather rough start, but they both tried their best to strengthen their bond as a mother and son, while Goku and Sandra reignited their passion for one another.

However, after his long period in which he didn't face much of a challenge, his life had been completely turned themselves upside his head when the Saiyans came to Earth. At the beginning of that day, Goku had just stopped several crimes around his city when he got a transmission from Batman that three, unidentified aircraft had entered the planet's orbit and were seemingly going to land in San Francisco, so Goku, Tien, Krillin, Nam, Suno and Yamcha flew over there to be the first to intercept the the aircraft, because Superman at the time was too busy dealing with Supergirl's acclimation to Earth and it's society.

When Goku and his friends arrived to the city, they found three round orbs of metal that they didn't recognize at all, from which three men with tails came out, tails just like Goku's. That immediately notified the group that these were Saiyans.

There were a lot of people in the area, which worried the heroes, but then one of the men, a tall one of a mane, stepped forward and started speaking while helicopters with news crews were swarming the area and Batman was watching through his own satelites.

"People of this small mudball by the name of Earth. We are Saiyans and elite soldiers of an intergalactic trade empire by the name of the Planet Trade Organization. We have come here without the knowledge of our ruler, Lord Frieza, to find a person who had lived among you for decades." he spoke up with a lot of showmanship and pizazz to his words as he span around and raised his hands up while filled with confidence. When he stopped, he looked directly at Goku, who was sweating nervously as he glared at the man.

"You see, a member of our race by the name of Kakarot was sent to this planet with the sole purpose of wiping out all life on the face of this pathetic planet. However, it seems like not only he had failed in his mission, but rather became one of your defenders." he spoke up loudly as he pointed at the Saiyan hero and smirked. "And now this is just a little piece of information that I have for you, Kakarot. My name is Raditz, and I am your brother!" he spoke up and declared for all the world to hear, but this not only shocked the simple civilians and Goku's friends, but Goku himself as well.

As all eyes fell on the tailed hero, he simply stared at his older brother and tried his best to stand his ground despite his shock. "I don't care who you are and if you are related to me. Tell us what you want with me or my home, or else I'mma deck your schnoze!" he proclaimed as he looked very serious and very nervous.

At that point, the shortest one of the group stepped forward, causing both Raditz and the third Saiyan, a goliath of a man, to get down to one knee and bow before the shortest one. "We are here, Kakarot, for a very simple reason. You see, we plan on rebelling against Lord Frieza and take over his galactic empire and return the Saiyans to their rightful place as the rightful rulers of the galaxy, with me, Vegeta, prince of the last of the Saiyan race, as the emperor." he started explaining in a rather smug but calm attitude.

"In order to fully beat Frieza, Raditz believed that we could do the deed with your help, which I highly doubt myself. Now you have two options: join us right now while every insect in this world becomes our slaves and servants, or fight us and die with every living being on this mudball, which we will then sell to the highest bidder. The choice is yours." Vegeta finished his explanation with an ultimatum to the Saiyan hero.

Goku thought about this for a little bit, knowing he could save the people of Earth in one fell swoop, but he would have to leave the planet and allow these Saiyans to subjugate them as slaves, as well as not being able to see his friends and loved ones for a very long time. On the other hand, maybe the Justice League was capable of defeating these guys, so he realized what his answer was going to be.

"Sorry, but this planet is far more defensible than you guys think. You won't be winning here. So here is my deal: leave now and never return and you will get to live." he said with determination in his eyes as he got into a fighting stance.

Vegeta simply clicked his tongue as he scowled at the superhero. He then looked at the Saiyan goliath. "Nappa, show his his mistake." the prince said, to which the bald warrior simply smirked and raised two fingers up, which were coated in energy.

Then there was a gigantic explosion that wiped everything around it, destroying the entire city of San Francisco down to its very foundations, leaving a gigantic crater behind as energy rose to the sky and was seen from orbit as a gigantic dome of light.

When it faded, the city that they were in was no longer existing and the population of nearly 780,000 people went down to a population of 9: Goku, his friends and the Saiyans. Goku's friends were moderately hurt while none of the Saiyans had a single scratch on them, with Goku having a few tears in his suit.

In anger Goku charged the three invaders, but was intercepted by his older brother and the two began to fight.

[ ] Raditz overwhelmed Goku with ease, beating him within an inch of his life, ranting about how he got to be constantly humiliated by his fellow Saiyans and Frieza's elites, while his younger brother was loved. Goku's friends tried to help, but were crushed with ease by Raditz as well. In the end, Tien and Yamcha sacrified their lives so that Krillin, Suno, Nam and Goku could escape. Superman and Wonder Woman came in the nick of time to help the four escape and hide Goku in a place in which he could heal while the rest of the Justice League assembled.

[ ] Raditz and Goku were completely even in their battle, in which Raditz constantly ranted about how his brother got live a happy life and be loved while he was humiliated and laughed at by everyone in his life. Eventually Nappa intervened and began beating Goku within an Inch of his life. When Goku's friends tried to intervene, they were pushed back by an exhausted Raditz. In the end, Tien, Yamcha and Krillin died delaying the Saiyans long enough for Superman and Wonder Woman to swoop in and take the survivors away and assemble the Justice League to fight against the Saiyans.

[ ] Raditz was easily overwhelmed by Goku, and when Nappa tried to kill Raditz for his failure, Goku protected his brother and was injured, leaving him weaker against the goliath, who overwhelmed him after a lengthy battle. The others tried to intervene, but were stopped by Vegeta, who easily slaughtered Tien, Yamcha, Nam and Krillin, leaving Suno barely alive but unconscious. Goku and Suno were then saved by Superman and Wonder Woman, who escaped with those that still lived, as well as capturing Raditz, and prepared to assemble the Justice League to fight against the Saiyans.
