Tywin needs to be checked very thoroughly for magic, especially Contingency effects and hidden items. We learned long ago that after a brush with something trying to mind control him that he had a PfE effect carved (or was it tattooed?) into his skin, so there might be more of them.

We should call Qyburn up to check for implanted items or other things carved into his body. No reason not to get the expert when we have him nearby anyway.

splitting the sibling apart when the only immediate family they have left is each other seems a bit cruel , how about putting them in phoenix run orphanage in Draconies or Mantarys (archons don't care much for politics or any of this sins of the father/mother garbage )that should be far away enough that no one could recognize them and isolate them from any sort of politics as well

Uhhh I'm open to the idea that's its possible to recruit Lanna and Gerion but uh no. Diplomats are the first and most important point of contact between the nation and a foreign entity. Ours in specific are meant to act as Imperium salespeople. It is 100% not a position for anyone potentially ambivalent. An infinitely more likely thing I'd see is having yet another craft monkey. Maybe.

I think his trial would be like Lanna's. Mostly decided and plotted ahead of time. So wed want someone respectable enough to make it look good yet high enough to work him behind the scenes. Flauxagon works surprisingly well. Maybe a higher up Bravosi solicitor? But I don't think it'd necessarily be a career death sentence. After all, look at John Adam's fervant American revolutionary who still vigourously defended the British soldiers accused of being part of the "Boston Massacre" out of principle and duty.

Tywin has to be the capstone. Probably Lanna second to last. I'm sure we'll get more over time, but right now the dude who poisoned his family (and got a Eirynes warlock daughter for his troubles) is one of the earlier ones.
 
You know, being the defense for a high profile case like Tywin's actually might land you other work, especially if you appear to conduct the defense competently despite the overwhelming evidence. It's basically the equivalent of getting your name out there, with the stakes being that you will defend your client to the best of your abilities no matter who they are!

Though finding one bold enough to do so would be difficult.
 
One more thing. Before the trials, we should make sure to make some editorial revisions to the minds of Tywin and anyone else who is headed for the noose. We don't want him blabbing about Wildfyre under Kings Landing or that Heaven has a giant hole where reality is breaking down. No need for him to have that information.

On the other hand, Urak wasn't a devotee and had no real grudges against us. At best we're a return to pre-Doom distant rule by Valyrian nobility, but with a different set of restrictions and some new Lore thrown in. The Spider Queen made him an offer, we made a far better one, and he was bought fair and square. Now of course the Forge is full of (our) guards 24/7, making treason not only unappealing but also potentially personally dangerous.

Basically we have Urak on a leash. We could potentially have Lanna on a leash, but:
  • Our remaining way to apply pressure would be to threaten her innocent children (not great)
  • She probably holds a grudge against us on top of that.
I want to interrogate her and possibly interact with her, but I expect we'll vote to kill her (or similar) afterwards.

It might work better than we give it credit for, since if a cat event were to happen here their inhuman point of view might help explain Joffrey actions in a more rational way that Joff can understand.

Also, random question: Have we seen any sort of, erm, well, pin-ups, or similar pieces of art, of any of the companions? If so, who? If not, then who would you presume would be the most likely candidate for that in the future?
