A week later; coming home.
Your home seems refreshing to see with the familiar rotten step and the creaking door. The information that flooded your brain is coming together. Your dad was distant, though you think that you can connect with him better now. Each weakness and strength the other has entered your mind. If you ask a question like how can I talk to him without him becoming angry? The information comes into your brain with fervor. You feel like that because you know him so well (not as well as other families, you somberly think), you can connect more dots than you can with others.
At first, when you woke up, you thought it was just your imagination. That option was wiped off the board when you countered your dad's question effectively in the car. Never before had that happened when you talk to others. Usually, you are socially awkward.
The next thing that seems to be part of the power (I'm a cape! You thought excitedly when you realized) are the blueprints that come into your mind like a hurricane. All things that hunters need are there for you to look through, from camouflage to bear traps.
After delaying the questions until you come home in the car, you got a new blueprint that seems to help delay stuff. Though it doesn't have unlimited uses, it's advantageous for making a person faster than you to slow down or help other people's sense of time be off.

Yeah, I think this works, telling the truth immediately is the best way to go, even if it goes wrong, we have time with our hunter thinker ways to keep talking to him and making him see things our way eventually, also, tinkers need a lot of support, so having dad's will be pretty important moving forward.
The name is a name, the costume is a costume, I am not too set in none of them, but is the best I can think of, and I think they're pretty cool. I have this alternative though, if enough people like it better just tell me and I can put it in place of the other one, or vote it up as an alt option.
The mind delay trick will be very useful in school, so building it as soon as possible seems like a good idea.

How did you get a perfect 100 on the "answer with complete detail" roll? HOW? I'm so confused. Well, there isn't a failure...mostly just a critical success…
You look at your dad. The bags under eyes were still there, even with the week that passed. There's three choices of telling him, but the only one that made sense to do was tell him the complete truth. Even with the likely chance of your dad telling you to join the Wards, you still wanted to put your trust into your dad, because, well, he's your dad.
"I'm thinking of gathering evidence against them," You pause, "I know they'll get worse if I just let them be. I also really need the closure of them getting their just punishments."
"How are you getting the evidence?" Your dad asks. You stop tapping your fingers against the side of the couch.
"I-" Your hesitation is obvious, "I think I'm a cape, but I don't want to join the wards…"
"Okay," Your dad says.
"Okay? You aren't going to get angry at me?" You ask with surprise.
"You're too much like Annette. Even if you want to become a villain, I don't think I could convince you to just sit still," Your dad replies. Nostalgia and sadness is in his voice; likely thinking about your mom.
"Then you won't mind that I will go out as a hero?" You try to confirm.
"Oh, I will certainly mind, I just know an argument with you would be useless."
"Will you help me get a costume?"
"What's your idea?" He answers your questions with another question. You describe the design you've been thinking all week to him.
"Hmm, looks good. How will I help?" Your dad asks. You begin tapping your fingers against the couch once again.
"I can maybe tinker them up as camouflage? I just need," You try to think about the components you need, "Some kevlar and some dark green cloth. I really only need those."
"I can get the cloth easily, but the kevlar is harder. I can ask some of the ex-military guys at the DWU," Your dad started muttering. You haven't heard him talk this much in a while. "What are your powers anyway?"
"It's a…" You describe what you have discovered so far. Your dad's face flashed through several emotions before getting too impressed.
"Now I can understand why you don't need much for your costume. You can just tinker up some bullshit."
"Yeah," You laugh.
"What about a name?" Your dad asks.
"Haven't settled on one yet, but I'm liking Huntress so far." Your dad nods. He's surprisingly calm about this. The conversation might've been a lot tougher if he started arguing.
"Take-out?" Your dad asks, interrupting your thoughts.
"Wha-oh yeah, sure."
"I'll go get it then."
