There are two different types of predators in the human race; those who are delusional and those who are realistic.

Danny looked at the opened journal in front of him with trepidation. His hand turned the page hesitantly. Each word taunted him while the names angered him. As he finished the journal, he collapsed on his daughter's bed. Three days had passed since they found the unconscious form of his daughter. Three days since his depressive thoughts turned darker.
How had he not noticed? Was he such a bad father that he couldn't pay attention to his own daughter? What was she thinking when she was all alone in that locker? He sobbed into the bedsheets, his hand turning into a fist. His sadness turned into anger.
Damn that car crash! Damn Emma Barnes and Sophia fucking Hess, he cursed. He just wants his daughter back. The empty bed stung his heart with every second. All I want is my daughter awake and whole!

----

You know how people say how time slows down and you see all of your past memories when you're about to die? Yeah, that's happening. Tears go down your cheeks with each bad memory from the past two years that came. Your smiles are reserved for your family messing around when you were young. Time moved so slowly (or was it faster? In the darkness it's hard to tell…) when those memories passed.
Then your mind came back to the present with an earth-shattering pain. You couldn't discern where the pain started and where it ended as you gagged.
Why? Why me? You ask yourself, Why do I have to be the one tortured in this hell hole?
Your grasp on consciousness faded with each painful sting. The last thing you heard was a roar of wind and a screech.

[ ] Shall you remain tortured? Remain stepped on a bug? You think not! A statement must be made.
[ ] You'll slowly squeeze the life out of their eyes before they even know it.
[ ] You need time to think...Time to plan...

It really matters who this is and we don't know that yet. This could be Emma or Sophia being eaten by Taylor's bugs.

This option is best to choose as you get to choose any power besides Master or Stranger!

The sounds of a heart monitor is the first thing you hear. Your dad is on the side of the bed.
"Hey…" Your rough voice says.
"You're awake!" Your dad says. A nurse comes in when your dad calls for them, checking you over for anything wrong.
"Nothing's wrong, but we'll keep you here until we are for sure you won't go into a relapse," The nurse says.
You nod, though you feel something that wants to be used; you push the feeling down. What was that?
"How did you get into the locker?" Your dad asks after a few minutes of silence. You pause your thinking. What should you tell him?

Choose THREE actions per day/TWENTY-ONE per Week. The higher the dice roll, the best chance of a good thing to happen/discover more.

[X] Plan Hunter
-[x] [Power] Tinker Predator
-[x] [Actions] Set Emma, Sophia and the Hanger on bullies as targets, keep going to school and test your powers on them, study them as best as you can, and try to start socially countering them.

Ok, english is not my first language, so I apologize for any egregious mistakes, but I have an idea for a power that seems like it would fit really well with this quest and that I haven't seen before. Gonna put it out there to see what you guys think. Dunno if this works out, but let's see what the OP says about it.

It's a Tinker/Thinker/Trump power that I used to call Hunter on my head, but I guess we can call Predator for this quest.

The mechanics for it are fairly simple, the Thinker aspect is all about figuring out weaknesses and how to exploit them, as soon as the Cape settles on a target, after a minor rush of initial insight recapitulating and extrapolating into what is already known, the power starts to gather more data on it, the more information on this target, the more accurate the Thinker power gets on their behaviours, strengths and weaknesses, making the Predator more able to hunt and fight it's prey, being able to predict their next actions and even what they are going to do long term if the psychological profile is good enough, this aspect can easily be used in psychological warfare against targets, countering, goading them and playing their expectations to set up ambushes and trigger traps. Also, enhanced senses for better tracking/observation and enhanced control of reactions for better fighting. The power doesn't loses data on targets that where dropped, only stops gathering info, continuing at current level of efficiency against them, and can settle on up to three active targets at once. Groups can be settled as targets, though to less effect, usually showing weak links on the Herd and how to hit those, instead of how to counter the group as whole.

The Tinker aspect comes in as an aid to take down the targets, starting with a hunter package, body armor, camouflage, traps, poisons/medicine, non firearms weapons and such things a normal if somewhat archaic hunter would have, only in Tinkertech version, so way better quality than reasonable and with some bullshit increased abilities, and then proceeding to create minor things to help take down a target based on the weaknesses and strengths known by the Thinker power. Poison that slows down regeneration? Doable. Poison that straight up counters it? Nope.

The Trump part is the fun one as usual, after fighting a target, winning or losing, the cape gets a Trophy, in case of defeat the Thinker ability gets insights on the target with information that wouldn't have be found easily only by observation, maybe even a direct counter to their abilities that is then fed to the Tinker power, possibly helping the target to be taken down next time, in case of Victory the Tinker ability gets either a new blueprint with a technology that allows for limited copy or is a strong counter to one of the target known abilities, increasing the pool of targets the Predator is able to go after. This Trump power can be triggered in a minor way in social conflict against a target.

[X] Plan Thinker/Trump/Mover Power
-[X] Thinker: Pre-cog like ability to predicted how host can avoid a negative outcome when she thinks about it, instinctually aware of potential dangers to avoid, automatically experiences a simulation of the physical/emotional/social danger in the near future that will occur if she doesn't avoid it; visions more detailed and vivid the closer it is to reminding her of her trigger event.
-[X] Mover/Trump: Gains Mover power that changes based on possible future events host is trying to avoid or predicted threats, with an awareness of how to use a Mover power to avoid that danger, more dangerous and/or traumatic future possibilities especially dangers from conflict with other parahumans giving stronger Mover powers.
-[X] When actively used, can simulate future events based on her own knowledge to know how actions lead to a negative outcome occurring or being avoided, but the amount of information gained from these simulations and the length to which they can extend into the future based on degree to which Taylor is seeking conflict with parahumans while avoiding certain dangers or avoiding/escaping conflict.
--[X] Thinker power has usual blind spots, but if what is being avoided is specifically related to a blind spot (etc. simulating the events in an Endbringer attack that already started, not predicting future ones), simulations still occur, just with very low accuracy, with it only based on host's beliefs about the blind spots capabilities, nature and motivations.
--[X] Comes with Thinker headaches, more for active use than passively avoiding danger, but if power is suppressed, with host no longer gaining awareness of simulations, still has Mover powers based on those future dangers and/or what the host is trying to avoid.

If Taylor has Queen Administrators, related to QA's capabilities in that many simulations of Taylor's actions are run independently, with Taylor only gaining awareness/remembering her actions in those simulations based on how much they fit her power/trigger event and the amount of conflict occurs in the simulation(s) she remembers. So, if she thinks she's about to die from an extremely powerful enemy like an S-class threat she could experience an extremely large number of simulations simultaneously at an extreme time dilation, though what limits there are on this can be up to the QM.

[X] Talk about your bullying to your dad. 2 ACTIONS. 80% chance of success! (Need to score 6-20) Increase Closeness

Queen Snake, For dealing with school, I don't know how comfortable you'd be with this, but you could have Taylor consider trying to transfer to a school besides the canon ones, since four high schools can't realistically support a city the size Brockton Bay is supposed to be even though Winslow and Immaculata are probably extremely overcrowded; Boston currently has 33 public high schools, so Brockton Bay, even with the grimdark nature of the setting should have at least 6 public high schools probably more, so there could be one that Taylor could get to from her house that's closer than Arcadia and Immaculata even if it's farther away than Winslow.

This power feels almost poetic to me, when I consider Taylor's situation. I don't know if it counts as a trump though, just a highly variable Mover/Thinker power. Either way, has my vote.

This is a good idea! I might just do that...

According to canon there is no such school within a permitted distance:

Interlude 1 said:
His efforts to have her change schools had been stubbornly countered with rules and regulations about the maximum travel times a student was allowed to have between home and a given school. The only other school within a reasonable distance of Taylor's place of residence was Arcadia High, and it was already desperately overcrowded with more than two hundred students on a list requesting admittance.

"I…" You hesitate, "There's these three girls that have been bullying for the past two years…" Your dad breathes in with anger; already knowing where this is going. You flinch.
"Who are they?" Your dad ask. You pause for second. Should you really tell him their names? Yes, you should. You nodd at yourself.
"Madison Clements, Sophia Hess, and Emma Barnes." You whisper. Your dad says something quietly to himself before talking aloud.
"Good, you told me. I thought you were going to die so I read your journal," Your dad admits. "I might've broken your bed by punching it too hard…"
You must of looked surprised as your dad started chuckling. "Come hug me, I feel like we both need it."
You leaned in to hug him. The hug comforted the worries that were on your mind since your mom's death. He still loves me…

Research everything, more info is always good. That last is also because it is a good way to test and use our power.
