Well here is the thing... We're one of the few none corporate papers (meaning non government controlled) papers in the entire nation...

I'm going to recommend caution... for one reason.

You don't have shit in terms of influence to survive a raid.

especially with men who have itchy trigger fingers.

Well, we may end up hiding with the Ishvalan survivors... They will probably appreciate that we actually tried to tell the truth about what happened.

So how do we actually do our reporting if we cant speak? Most people probably dont understand sign language and others probably dont know how to read.

While thinking about this I came up with the idea that we could perhaps create a machine that allows us to talk. Basically we type and it speaks.

Father: He dug too deep into a conspiracy involving chimera and human trafficking... he's a missing person, though presumed dead.

Mother: Died in childbirth.

Sister: Died Stillborn.

Brother: Was killed in a border skirmish at the southern sector. Though if people looked closely at the report, they find several discrepancies in the events... like him arguing with a superior about the slaughtering of a family of civilians who lived in the region and the body being... unidentifiable due to phosphorus rounds (From mortors) incinerating much of his body.

Actually, your interview skills suck, since you can't speak (though that does not stop you, it just makes things harder for you) but your investigation and other reporter skills are top notch.

So invent a text to speech device before the invention of computers... got it...

Or we can find a way to get our voice back...

Or we just... live with being mute.
