This'll do for now. I'm still interested in having a shot at turning the child prodigy killing machine to our cause. Having her as a pilot can help make up for us being out of commission. If nothing else, we can ensure that she doesn't fly for the enemy or anything.

Tanaka Mari I think is our priority. Gotta keep up with the protagonist. Maybe we can befriend her such that when Kana inevitably dies in some stupid but possibly heroic fashion it inspires her to defect.

I'm with you guys on these choices, but we should still be careful. It's a coin toss on whether or not this is going to give us plot armor or cement our death as a martyr to drive Mari to join the AIJ cause.
 
I mean if the quest just stops cold with Kanas death I'll be sad, but I feel like she's 99% sure slated for inevitable tragic death. If she can be the weirdo friendly one who inspires the the misguided protagonist to see the light and turn on the Evil Empire that's pretty good as deaths go.

Kana is, after all, an elite mook at best as characters go, not an ace. It's the title and premise.

I guess Faiza thinks Mosi is adopted because of the way the Norths were introduced as just the mother and daughter, and then out of nowhere one day there's another one?

Azara is probably salty that Kana isn't going to lose her leg after all.

I mean, the pirate jokes don't work nearly as well when it's you who has an eyepatch and the one you try to rile up doesn't.

Eh, she'll deal.

Actually, a question. How pissed is our mechanic at the moment? The mecha's toast and Kana isn't, and I'd bet he wished it'd be the other way around.
