I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

I don't think that simple requests can be customized like that? At least I don't think it is necessary. If (hopefully when) we do down the path of gromril chain, that should at least make sure the results can't be called mediocre.

What? The plan is to see if we can finish Gromril chain in time and regardless if we finish it or not we do the Valaya request on turns 39 and 40 with 4(6) actions a piece then the Gazul request on turns 41 and 42.

Considering Forged Limb had trace elements from Master Rune of Waking... I think Fjolla studied MSpite and figured out a way to incorporate it into a new Rune heavily consisted of Light and maybe Warding / Parrying.

The MRune was not made by her, remember?

It could also be that when she learned how to make that master rune, she got inspired and tinkered with it. And that could be the reason why the staff is so Light heavy, since it is the culmination of what she gleaned from the master rune.

Edit: also as above said, maybe she just really like the rune of spite?

Yeah I think she likes spite. It was the combo she came up with in her journeymaning masterpiece.

Also, now that research is comfortably leading, Silver Wutroth, Hearthstones amd Zhufazul the "last" of our earlier research mats options right? I think I recall Durazkull being a research mat that came somewhat later in the odd places.

So if we finish these research mats, we would no longer have any of the older backlog right? Just wanna make sure we aren't forgetting any other old research option.

Still, it is an achievement in and of itself. Lady Diamond Eyes was a Dwarf almost five times Fjolla's age, and Runelord of Karak Brynduraz besides. Not as storied as many legends, but one didn't get to live over a millennium and a half without accumulating a few deeds of renown.

Finally, after 330 years, Dolgi and Fjolla have become True Masters in their Mentor's eyes. Maybe this will prompt Snerra in to geting a Deed or two.
Bloody hell, an "once in a generation Genius" and she doesn't even have an Epic Deed? Shameful. Now to find the whereabouts of the rest.

I actually think learning ELtharian is highly underrated right now. Language is how you encode thought, I think learning Eltharian will be very useful, especially if we learn magical language.
