On Thread Etiquette:

I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Please endeavour to be cordial. :^)

I'd really like to learn Eltharin soon, as narratively it seems to tie in really nicely with some aspects of ties and with Snorri's presbyopia efforts to bridge the communications gap with the King of the Skies.

for a set duration of time.
For a set time or for a set duration would be good enough.

Also, @soulcake, about the Runes of Lightspite / Lightfright, what's Snorri's IC theories on how they're made? Because Lightspite gives the impression of having the elements of Light and Parrying, while Lightfright has elements of Light and Fear. Guess it means that it's possible to combine aspects from different simple runes to form another simple rune.

Man, it's kinda sad that we only managed to invent a whole new Rune, though at least it's a Master Rune, that proves pivotal to creating Adamant. Oh! The Master Rune of Spellspite... personally I think it has elements of Spelleating, Spellbreaking (maybe), Spellburning (assuming Gemma knows Spellburning), and Master Rune of Spite. Maybe a compressed version of Master Rune of Spite, Rune of Spelleating, Rune of Spellburning.

Either that, or it has trace aspects of MValaya, because you can never go wrong with adding an Ancestor Rune (unless it's the End Times. We don't talk about the End Times).

Is it wierd that kinda don't want to learn Eltharin and would prefer to invent a runic method of automated translation? Even though I know it would take far longer and we would almost certainly be better off just learning it the regular way.

Honestly, Lightspite sounds like a MSpite, Light, ____ combo that got combined and then degenerated from the Mrune into a lesser one.

Guys, hold on. We didn't fulfill Yorri's Request.

Why are we releasing the apprentices without doing that?
The top plan has 2 apprentice actions assigned to Yorri's Request. We only lose the apprentice actions the turn after they are released.

-[X] [Simple] Yorri's Request: [Cost: 2 apprentice actions] Due whenever. Gain 2x Yorri prods. Your master wants twenty axes from each one of your apprentices. Fine, it makes no sense to you that someone his age would purposefully commission work from an apprentice but you aren't going to, publicly, judge him for it. 2 apprentice actions
