I know this is a joke and all, but voting for multiple things at once when that's not how the vote is structured makes it harder to to tally stuff.
 
Which one of them takes precedence probably makes the other bits less meaningful. If Avress kisses her, the distraction is moot (you're making a scene), and you're not listening to Skylah.

If Avress tries to make an awkward distraction, the passion of the moment passes, and now there's nothing for Skylah to talk about.

If Avress tries to explain non-attachment and Skylah gets involved in things, there's no point in the distraction and Avress is not going to kiss her with Skylah nattering on.

Think I've gotta go with this, in the end. It's not too hard to find someone impulsively making a big dramatic kiss, but I think it'll be hard to find a disaster like this anywhere else.
