It might be easy but it would be fun also
LinkOnScepter how much of well not humanity but how far is this person willing to go to get the throne and well what to they want to do with it? or will that be a vote if this wins?
Well, part of that will be based on their personality/experiences which you guys will choose next update.
But....well....they're an Infernal if that wins.
While they have some Ethics and Morality, it's either very skewed or hardly concerns them.
An Infernal, at best, will be an Anti-Hero.
Come on, let's go Sidereal! Lunars are rare, but Sids are even rarer to find, and they have some really funky abilities
While this is true, a lot of the "Funky Abilities" that Sidereals are used to having are gone. Many of the old really powerful Sorcery that was in Creation has been losted/destroyed/just straight up can't be used anymore. And the Sidereal Martial Arts? Yeah, those are all gone. In fact, most Exalted Martial Arts have bit the dust. Even the DBs mainly use either Modern Martial Arts or copy stuff from the Kindred Of The East.
[X] Man
[X] It showed some stranger. Someone who was merely walking across the street. Then as they entered an alleyway, static overtook the feed. By the time it was gone you walked out of the alleyway...with the other person nowhere to be seen. (Sidereal)
I always have favored the Chosen of the Five Maidens. Born beneath the stars of prophecy, born to master destiny, these dignitaries and officials of the Celestial Bureaucracy.
The Ascension War, the Traditions, Technocracy, Marauders, and Nephandi. It will be interesting to be sure. I hope that the Sidereal in question would be able to make contacts amongst the Technocracy and establish some sort of working relationship with them.
Of course, I also have a soft spot for the scions of Caine. After all, Vampire: The Masquerade is the game that started it all. For the most part, one cannot call Cainites good, but the Exalted are in no place to judge, considering how so many of their numbers are. Furthermore, order and stability must be maintained, so if they are encountered, mayhap some sort of professional working relationship with the Camarilla could eventually be formed.
Actually, the Great Curse is gone.
Yeah. You don't have to worry about that anymore.
It is unfortunate that Changeling: The Dreaming does not seem to be involved. I always did like them.
Ultimately, though, I was most enamored of Demon: The Fallen, youngest and last of the lines though it was, heralding the end of the World of Darkness. The exhilarating idea of playing one of the Elohim, the architects, builders, and stewards of Creation, those who were born before the dawn of time, the ones who ushered in the very concept of time itself and built the cosmos, it was positively enthralling. Yes, yes, the Exalted are supposed to oppose demons, but considering the Infernals, well, the situation is not so black and white, especially with the five factions of the Fallen, one would think that a Sidereal could work with the Cryptics and Reconcilers at the very least. It is not even including how Fallen loyalties are such byzantine, complex affairs, with other variables being their Houses, the Legion or lack thereof in which they served, ties to their commanding superiors which may be forced with True Names, along with the infernal courts. Very complicated, indeed. Then, there are the horrific ones against whom all Fallen must stand, the Earthbound, especially the five Archdukes.
Changelings will be involved. I just didn't find the book for them in the place I legally obtained the WoD books I'm using. I probably just have to look harder.
The only reason I went with those is because...the Exalted all have a requirement of their host having experienced and recognized the Supernatural at some point. They don't have the time to bond with someone who is unaware of this. As such, I went with the Supernaturals that someone is more likely to run into on a day to day basis. Since the Changelings are REALLY trying to hide themselves...yeah. Plus, from what I do know of them, they have less of a reason to just attack random people out of nowhere.
Granted, I know very little about the Lore of WoD. Which is where the other reason for the vote comes in: It helps me narrow down what books I should read/focus on, rather than try to read and understand every 20th Anniversary book.
Fun Fact: This Homebrew basically follows the old idea of WoD. That being, Creation was what came before WoD, and WoD is what Creation became. In fact, the Infernals were the only Celestial Exaltation to not get sealed away in the Obsidian Prison. Instead, they were trapped and sealed up in Hell and their power is the reason why things like the Yama Kings and other parts of Hell exist. After the DB released the Celestial Exalted (cause things have gotten that bad), the Infernals woke up, broke their weakened chains, and are now back.
