The Spirits and Gods that once walked the world are gone. The causes of their deaths are many. Some faded from the world, forgotten by their followers. Others eroded into dust when their powers were extinguished. Many were felled by their fellows, who sought to postpone their individual demises.
The immortal masters, the terrifying lords that watched over the world have abandoned their sacred posts.
The Heroes that once guarded the world from the oncoming Darkness have disappeared or fallen. Now only monsters remain, stalking the night and preying on the blood of the innocent while they scheme in the shadows behind towers of steel. And while they bicker and plan, the Darkness continues forward to swallow the world whole.
Some are aware of this fact. Others are not. Some are trying to avert the coming catastrophe. Yet others wish to hasten it's arrival.
None of them can stop it.
As things stand, the entire World is doomed.
But, perhaps, there is still some hope.
For the Heroes of Legend, those who once moved mountains through sheer force of will, never truly died. They were imprisoned by those that once called them liege. They were kept away from the world for centuries so their tremendous power, paired with a Great Curse and Boundless Ambition, could harm the world no longer.
But as things stand, they are the only ones who could bring this world back from the brink of destruction.
For they are the Exalted.
And they were made to do the impossible.
Within an IHop restaurant that was two blocks away from a Walmart Superstore, two people were sitting in a booth near a window. Jamie Hudson sat with her food barely touched and glass still filled with ice cold water. She gulped nervously while pushing a stray lock of crimson hair from in front of her face. Her head hung low, black eyes darting through the building, purposely avoiding the person in front. Her white shirt felt tight against her pale skin, nervous sweat dripping down her neck. One hand kept gripping and letting go of her skirt, while the other was tapping at her phone on the table.
An audible, happy sigh forced her gaze up to see her companion finish the last of their sparkling water. Unlike Jamie who hadn't even touched her food, they had four empty plates stacked on top of each other. Jamie quietly thanked herself for working overtime at the office as she watched her friend call a waiter over for another order. She squirmed in her seat, eyes darting between the...

...sitting across from her and the rectangular device on the table. As her gaze feel upon the bright screen and colorful apps on the phone, an image of the night before plays before her eyes. It disappeared the moment she blinked, but it didn't leave her mind. She waited for their server to leave and squinted her eyes with determination. Gathering her courage in a single, deep breath she said two words that had taken her the entire night to work up the courage to say, "I know."
Jamie snatched up her phone and opened up her videos before her friend could react. Next she held the device up to their face with her eyes focused on how they would react to what they saw.
Oh, this wasn't good.
You narrow your eyes as the video plays. It was recording of the night before. To be more precise...of your nightly....activities. It showed...
[] ...you being forced against a wall by someone else. They embraced you for a second before bursting into flames and turning to dust. (Solar)
[] ...you entering a graveyard alone and coming out with five people trailing behind you. But the thing was...they were all semi-transparent. (Abyssal)
[] ...you sitting in the middle of a gathering of strange, otherworldly monsters. The crimson skinned creatures were all bowing you, as an inhuman laugh left your throat. (Infernal)
[] ...two hulking, furred beast clashing with each other on a rooftop. One threw the other over the edge, watching it fall as its body shrunk and changed...into you. (Lunar)
[] It showed some stranger. Someone who was merely walking across the street. Then as they entered an alleyway, static overtook the feed. By the time it was gone you walked out of the alleyway...with the other person nowhere to be seen. (Sidereal)
[] ...you running beneath a street lamp a group of shouting men nipping at their heals. It seemed you would be caught when you reached a dead end...until your legs opened up and started glowing a strange color. Then you ran up the wall of a nearby building, losing your pursuers. (Alchemical)
Votes: Essentially, opening vote on Exaltation is three-fold. The first part is to, obviously, decide what Exaltation you have. Which will in-turn determine what powers you guys have access to. The second part is to decide what will be your main opposition in the game. It won't lock out the other Supernaturals, but it will determine which faction(s) you guys will focus on for the majority of the Quest. To wit:
Solar = Vampires.
Abyssal = Vampires and Wraiths.
Infernal = Demons and The Hungry Dead.
Lunar = Werewolves.
Sidereal = Mages.
Alchemical = Magies and Technocracy.
The last part is to decide the kind of difficulty level of the Quest. This is in no way a Hard-Coded Difficulty. It's simply a "guestimate" on my part:
Infernal = Easy/Normal: Infernals are Demonic Solars, so they already have the immense amount of power going for them. However, they have one major advantage over all the other Exalted: They know what's going on. They know the world is fucked, and that the throne of Demon Emperor/Empress will soon be empty. And they plan to get their butts in it. However, they'll have to go through the Yama Kings and the Kindred Of The East to pull it off...something not too hard considering....INFERNAL.
Solar/Abyssal/Lunar = Normal: Solars and Abyssals have the same ability to be absolutely broken like Infernals are. Unlike Infernals, they have no clue what they're doing. They don't know who or what they are, they don't know what they're doing here, they have no power base to call upon, they're on their own. Same thing with Lunars, it's just that they're more suited to being Loners because of their Exaltations. The main difference is that Abyssals will be drawn into the world of Vampire Politics by the simple fact that they exist. Cause...well they're basically edgier, more emo Vampires...with more power to throw around.
Sidereals = Normal/Hard: Sidereals are luckier than other Exalts in that they still have their "Outside of Fate, no one remembers me" Bullshit. However, they no longer have control of the Loom of Fate. So, once again, they're on their own. And they still don't really know what the hell is going on around here. Plus any Supernatural that actually tries to find out who or what they are will likely succeed. And once that happens...well things get bad for the Sidereal.
Alchemical = Very Hard: On top of not knowing what the hell is going on, being weaker than most of the other Exalted, and only being able to use a limited number of Charms at a time, Alchemicals have the worst starting position out of the Exalted. Unlike the others, they can't pass for human without either being in Dormancy (having no access to their powers for 12 Hours unless they force it, in which case any Charm switching they did is undone) or having specific Charms to hide their appearance. Top that off with how the Technocracy is gonna want them back ASAP, that none of the other Factions really have a reason to help them, and the Mages will be all over them if they find out what they are...basically the Alchemicals have the roughest start.
On the DB: I was going to include the Dragon-Blooded....but just couldn't figure out a way to include them. Sorry for those of you who enjoy DB or like playing as them.
On Editions: I'll be using the 20th Anniversary Editions of World of Darkness for rules. Mainly cause that's the ruleset Exalted Vs World Of Darkness was made to be used with.

It might be easy but it would be fun also LinkOnScepter how much of well not humanity but how far is this person willing to go to get the throne and well what to they want to do with it? or will that be a vote if this wins?
