Keep in mind that the babies being bought is only step two of whatever key the Thing is trying to make.
Two of 3, 5 or 7 steps.

What we need here is not numbers (they are propably not very relevant when it comes to Far Siders), we need the patterns.
We have to see what the next step is and then stop the baby-owners from doing that.
It would likely be something of substantial ritual potence enforcing a connection to the material plane by way of invitation.

The rules of hospitality, weddings, being named, being given milk, being baptized, ect... almost any number of things could work.

"Why sell them? Why spread them out like that?" Mia asked looking shaken, though doing her best to hide it as any inquisitor was trained. "Do they need to... er... feed to get to the next stage of their life cycle."
A pity, would have been nice if slavers, who trade in infants and are planning to train Unsullied got eaten by Eldritch horrors, though on the other hand, I guess it's good the Eldritch tykes, don't have to deal with the stomach ache from eating that kind of slime.

I fully agree with whoever was calling for an exterminatus.

This shit is worse than what Baator has been doing with unsullied genitalia.

Also, for whoever tries to argue that slavery is not that bad... well, look at what you can do thanks to slavery
And now I'm fully expecting that we will have to destroy an Advanced Fiendish Flesh Golem at some point in near future, one which is composed entirely of Unsullied genitalia.

I wouldn't write off the flesh forge just yet. There might be marvellous things in there for us to use. The Eldritch template would be just the right thing to round out my failed slime-undead hybrids.

Considering how we are building elemental forges ourselves, we need only the Fey forge (which we already have in Feywild-Lys, we just need to bring it under our banner)

Something tells me what Garin saw is the real Black Goat, which implies cult still super active and that Black Goat is an eldritch being and not some lower plane outsider.

Oh joy.

Not much, it appears to be using a lot of the old Black Goat tenements only with more of and emphasis on charity and caring for nature and for the needy. It looks more like heresy than a distinct religion.
... Okay. Yeah. That is deeply fucking suspect. Especially since we know that some agents of Shub-Niggurath have druid powers.

I trust nothing here.

While I get the urge to nuke it from orbit, I would like to figure out what is actually going on first to make sure we do not accidentally perform some sort of city scale human sacrifice that gates in some great and terrible evil.

Yeah, someone else stealing our sacrifices would be infuriating.

These things are earmarked for R'hllor.

Keep in mind that green is one of the holy colors of Shub Niggurath, so that "new religion" is quite definitely just a different cult of hers.

@egoo, who do we have in Qohor right now?

As much as I want to simply nuke the place it pains my soul to ask this question.

Can we even nuke it reliably?

If it's already been turned into a nightmare baby factory then that means the Eldritch has dug in deep and from what I can tell of forges based on what we've gotten they tend to go way down and the deeper you go the more hardcore the stuff there is.

I know we've got a few magical spirit bombs on tap but from what I can recall not a lot of those have penetrating power, or at the very least not enough to reliably clear out the forge entire in one go.

Call me pessimistic but something about this tells me we won't get a second shot if we go in guns blazing.

[X] Plan Information Gathering
-[X] Infiltrate the Slavers
--[X] Nuri will pose as a wealthy slave trader from "further away", seeking to establish a breeding facility in Qohor or to buy some special specimens for business partners of hers. The implication here being that she is from off-plane or works with the Rakshasa, but she will not divulge any details.
--[X] With her are her bodyguard (Liomond) and her personal scribe / clerk (Mia). She also keeps a Umbral Stalker around, which, if noticed, will be claimed to be her pet.
-[X] Infiltrate the Faith
--[X] Xor and Kira will approach them independently of each other, the former under the guise of a potential convert, the latter as a wandering bard interested in learning more about them.
--[X] Each of them will be shadowed by Garin, the Minddragon and the two Umral Spies when interacting with the cult for securities sake.

The Umbral Stalker could just hide in Nuri's shadow and under her clothing. It would be completely undetectable while still being able to share its full suite of abilities with her.
