You are the best friend of a harem protagonist , your job is to protect him and his other friends and stuff. Maybe even be his boyfriend(that's your dream).

You were sent a letter saying that you were chosen to be in on Sora-high, a school for the people with the talent for abnormal things. You expect that, you didn't expect was to see your best friend Simon, at the door.
"Hey bro!" He greeted you, "did you get a letter too?" You answered yes. "That's great! I hope we are in the same class." You did as well.

The opening ceremony was about to begin, you where giddy about it. After a few minutes of waiting, the student council president, stepped of the stage.
"Greeting, my name is Sona Sitri. I am the student council president". She said greeting the the center. "I hope you can enjoy this incoming school year here, and the things you'll going to learn". After a few minutes of explains the things you'll going to be doing here, she bows and leaves the stage.

Ok, so I'm definitely leaning heir here. Always better to be the Ami than the Krillin, as it were. Heir has better Learning+Occult and Intrigue, so it pairs well with Code Crafter and Xanatos, plus the two are likely to have their own synergy, as you can specialize gear to a plan. If I were minmaxing, here would be where I put lethal chef, but I like my characters to be interestingly flawed, rather than mechanically optimal. I think either Pride or Sloth&Greed is a must here, as they're the ones that let a side character occasionally drive the plot for a bit rather than get dragged along with it, and between the two I prefer pride. Danger Magnet to round out the two flaws, which I think makes an interesting potential side character; someone who, when left to their own devices, can get in over their head thanks to poor luck and a tendency to overestimate themselves, and needs help to get them out of it, but is also capable of getting the MC out of danger whenever they get in over their head with a quick wit and gear for any occasion.

I like the reasoning for this plan, and Xanatos + Code Crafter works well for a side character. We're useful and have our own impressive abilities that don't overlap or outshine Protagonist-kun. I'm hoping we get a vote later on that lets us decide what our friendship with the main character is like.

Class started, and the usual happened. The teachers greeted everyone, they did it bach, the teach gives out work , and the class does it. It was a simple thing to do, due to your smarts. You look over to your bro, form a glance you could tell he was having a little trouble with the assignment. You consider giving him some personal clashes to help him.
The rest of the classes were a breeze due to your intelligence, your bro did almost as well as you in some of them. After they were done you asked him to some to your room. When he got there, you explained that you were going to give him some private seasons.
