So three questions,

1. Are we the only human around, or are we just a visually similar species?

2. What tech level is this universe running with on average? Not just the empire.

3. Is the female 2 portrait from an existing IP? It looks so familiar it would bug me for the rest of time if I didn't ask.

EDIT: as with all questions, I cannot force an answer, but it never hurts to ask.

I guess maybe Death Dealer was relatively more interesting of the two choices. Plus being raised by the 'Lord of the South' just makes me think we'd grow up to be Space Scarlett O'Hara (though Death Dealer means we could end up Space Teen Titans Terra).

Good benchmark for tech I'd say, and for now I hope it's safe to assume that we look like the locals, but there is some kind of genetic stuff we'll have to figure eventually. Can't wait for this story to unfold.

I'm going to aim not to, but do to the fact I legitimately don't have the willpower to create five concurrent grids to simulate four dimensional combat the battle system is going to be rather simplistic.

Outside of that though, I do not intend to reduce it to "could also just be an ocean".
