[X] Extra social event
Oh, that is a DANGEROUS assumption to make. If it's a main quest, the chances of it being inconsequential are very, very small. About the only one that won't have any kind of consequence would be Final Frontier, and I specifically said that was an "adventure of the week" format for just that reason.
[X] Extra social event
with a side of Daddy's little girl please and thank you!
Danny has hurt Taylor in ways that can never be properly apologized for. Continuing to deal with him will never help anything and his legacy fucking blew itself up.
Part 1 would involve an interaction with Danny at his group home/nursing facility.@Silently Watches can you give any hint at all about what Daddy's Little Girl will entail?
Frankly to me this isn't about Danny. Its about Taylor and whether or not she can close the book on Danny and finally move on instead of ending up with maybes. Maybe she could have gotten help from the TSAB. Maybe something else could have been done. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.
IMO that's the weakest possible argument for Daddy's Little Girl. As far as I can see, Taylor already moved on. She rarely remembers about Danny's existence and when she remembers, she doesn't demonstrate much emotions. She doesn't tear herself apart mulling over whether or not he ever remembers her.Or we do Daddy's Little Girl and maybe, just maybe, it'll give Taylor the final impetus to move on and accept that her father as she knew him is dead.
Okay, can you point to where Taylor actively thinks about Danny and where 'she doesn't demonstrate much emotions'?IMO that's the weakest possible argument for Daddy's Little Girl. As far as I see, she doesn't need to seek closure, because she already has it.
I would prefer an additional social event with the Adepts, because remember,
Purity + Breakdown + Cape Boosters + Barret Boosters = Ragnarok.
Honestly. Why are people so adamant against Daddy's Little Girl?
My reasons are similar to @Racoras. Taylor may be good at repressing things she shouldn't, but I honestly don't believe that this is one of those instances. If she is repressing, then she is cutting out an influence in her life that, as others have stated, she genuinely doesn't need. If she isn't then she has already moved on in her own way. The fact that it Is difficult to point out specific instances of either possibility is telling in its own way.Because honestly, you say that she's already moved on and I'm saying that she's just repressing her emotion and avoiding the problem like Taylor often does until said problem comes up and smacks her in the head with a clue-by-four.
