Persona: A Less-Than Cinematic Tale (Starring Hikari of PQ2)

Ah, yes, the value of silence.

Admittedly, that works best when you're not one of only two people in a conversation...

First Day of Classes
Hikari silently blinked at Tsukane. It felt like maybe she should have said something, tried to continue the conversation in some way, but she just couldn't think of one.

"Anyway, I'd better get going," Tsukane continued. "Kota seems to have this sort of vendetta against the microwave, so I haven't really... eaten anything yet today. I'm gonna... go hit up one of the vending machines, or something..." He pushed his way through the crowd, and out of Hikari's sight.

Still... she'd managed to have a conversation with a living person her age and not die of embarrassment. Progress!

Toyosada Hirose stood at the front of the class, looking exactly as professional as everyone else who worked at the university- no more, no less. Not one hair out of place, clothing perfectly pressed, as if teachers came in boxes and he was freshly unpacked.

Despite this, there was a relaxed air around him, in comparison to the obvious tension built up in Nara, and that may have been present in Arimura. Hikari hadn't been anywhere near close enough to the front of the crowd to check. Even now, she sat close to the back of the class, perfectly happy to blend in however possible, it was just that she could see more because there were less people.

...That or Gullveig's powers were carrying over slightly despite the fact that having her Persona summoned would probably lead to no small amount of panic and eventual ostracization. But she wasn't going to think about that possibility.

Still, the class started with Hirose-sensei passing out paper copies of the syllabus to everyone, and no one was paying any particular attention to her, so she supposed that this was a good sign for the future.

Hikari spent the day giving little particular attention to her classmates, not particularly bothered by their existences so long as they didn't really acknowledge hers. She probably could have gotten their attention if she wanted to, but... that was a lot of people.

Still, now that classes were over for the day...

[ ] She'd go to Cafe Chagall. And it seemed like someone else had the same idea...

[ ] She'd explore the town outside the university, so she'd know what was worth doing in town.

[ ] She'd explore the campus, because she still had no idea where anything was except the dorm, her classes, and a cafe.

[ ] She'd go back to the tunnels. There was a new world for her to explore...

Campus first, town later.

All right, now to finally gain access to more facilities!

Being able to do things is sort of important, after all.

Tuesday, April 11- After Classes
Having spent more than a day in this place, Hikari decided it was time to look around and see where everything else was, since it was highly likely she'd need to take advantage of there being so much to the school later.

Sadly, without her phone, and the associated GPS, the most she'd be able to do was pick a direction and start walking. Still, it was something to take up her time, and to distract her from thoughts of the little robot in the other world.

Time to get searching.

(Rolling 1d4 to see how many places Hikari finds... 1. All right, then.)
It was a good thing Hikari got started early, as there weren't any maps of the campus that weren't digital, at least that she had access to, and she hadn't felt like there was time to go back to her room for her phone. Like the second she stepped back inside the dorm building, the world would be plunged into nightfall.

She was aware it was a ridiculous thought, but it still bothered her, and she was sure she could get around just fine without it, so she was avoiding going back for the time being.

Sadly, without any sort of map or anything, Hikari was quick to get very, very lost. She wandered about, as various people pushed by her, wandering in just about any direction that looked interesting, but never finding anything.

...Well, almost never. After a while of wandering and not seeing anything that interested her, she eventually came across a large building made of white marble, each of the walls lined with flowerbeds, each containing flowers of a different color. On either side of the door were beds of purple and yellow flowers.

Inside, the air was nearly frigid, and the building itself was full of bookshelves made of a dark, stained wood. The floor was a pitch-black carpet, covered in stars of all colors. The books on the shelves, too, were every color, but much more subdued than the stars on the floor.

Well. Hikari supposed that if anywhere was important to find, this was definitely it.

(You have discovered the library. Once per day, Hikari may spend time here with other people associated with Kusoka University to become better friends. She may also spend time here on her own for a chance of triggering a random event.)

Despite how little progress was made in her quest to be able to navigate the university campus, the sun had already begun to set. Still, Hikari thought she'd found the most important thing, so maybe she could take a break from wandering around lost.

[ ] Some nice hot chocolate from Cafe Chagall would be a nice way to end the day... if she was lucky, there'd even be a friend there.
-[ ] Shiyuri Kosono.
-[ ] Tsukane Akabori.

[ ] She'd just found the library. No reason not to make use of it. Maybe someone else would be there...

-[ ] ...But she'd still try and study on her own.

[ ] There was still time in the day! She could still explore!

[ ] Maybe there was still time to slip into that other world for a bit... That robot had to have finished rebooting by now, right?

Let's have an adventure!

We need allies friends ASAP, and Tsukane has enough plot threads to make a sweater.
