I'm sad that we can't go out for pizza in costume. That actually be the biggest reason I'm annoyed that the police are angry at us, honestly. It's one in the morning; can you imagine being on the grave shift at Pizza Hut when Arachne and her previously unknown sidekick roll through to pick up an extra-large pepperoni with double cheese? It'd be amazing.

Now that I'm thinking about it, picking up pizza in costume might actually be what we want to do for security reasons. It's something like four in the morning; Liv or Justine being out at all will be pretty suspicious, even more so if they're observed together. So I vote we pick up our pizza by placing an order over the phone, hopping out of the car and breaking pursuit before swinging a few blocks over to pick it up in costume, paying in cash, and then meeting back up with Justine at her apartment or something. Arachne is more than stealthy enough to pull it off, given that IIRC she sallies from her apartment whenever she goes out.

Hmm. I don't want to mess up our relationship with Justine; even if she is an opsec nightmare, she'd be a good sidekick, and I think that Liv could benefit a lot from mentoring a hero like her. On the other hand, I feel like she legitimately does need to learn a bit more before we share our identity.

This is probably a good time to work on communication and honesty.

[x] Discuss it with Justine. Is she okay if you don't unmask just yet? You're... a bit worried that she'd accidentally use your real name while out on patrol with you or something. You haven't yet worked with anyone that knows your real name.
-[x] Pick up pizza, head up to a rooftop or something, and give her the 'Infosec, Ubiquitous Surveillance, And You' talk over pizza.

[X] Pull your mask off. This was about as safe as it got, you had mutual blackmail material, and you could use a friend in the loop.
-[X] Give Justine the 'Infosec, Ubiquitous Surveillance, And You' talk, and tell her she should probably torch her car.
I like this.

And will approval vote this.

It's a good write-in. Provides a reason for being worried about the mask thing, finds a space to actually talk about stuff, and lets us figure her out a bit more.

Sick of the double life and this girl looks like she could really use some guidance, all we gotta do is warn her properly NOT to talk in custom and make up a fake story for where we met.

Torching the car is probably an over-reaction.

The information is already in the cloud and an algorithm will skim over it and it will never reach human attention. Frankly she's probably been driving this car around for her patrol things so clearly its not obviously flagging her.
Depending on how uncategorised learning algorithms develop it shouldn't be too much of a risk even if a new algorithm is added in the future to watch for specifically us as the smart systems in all the cars in america + alll the other apps google assistant tracks will generate far too much data for people to think its worth going backwards through.
I think the key thing is to tell her to avoid the keywords that are likely to cause the algorithm to flag conversations and things for human intervention. These Are Supposedly The Words That Make The NSA Think You're A Terrorist

Yup. In some ways, her obliviousness to infosec may make her secure. She doesn't act as someone who has anything to hide, so the algorithm doesn't notice anything out of order.

Yah, unlike all those people out there talking about dictionaries... Everyone knows true red blooded americans wouldn't know a dictionary if you beat them over the head with it.

Changing my vote to the write-in.

Fundamentally, our approaches to infosec are exact opposites. Both work, but they can't work together. We make sure the algorithms don't have anything on us, she gives the algorithms everything and hopes they don't flag her as dangerous.

If she tries to swap to using our style, she'd make big mistakes and get arrested even sooner.
