Girl's Frontline: Wicked Animandum

Ahh, time for the fated reunion
This'll be great, time to bully a snake

I'm going to argue against facing Ourobouros, because she'll turn Veresk into roadkill, then torture her, and then kill her or worse.

[X] Write-in: "Oh?~ Want to get your hands on a secret weapon?~ I secretly approve~"
[X] Write-in: "I will find you SNAKE! And I will touch you!"
[X] Write-in: Time to touch a Snake. I a bad way. Turn off the tracker and hide in a comfortable position to fire on her as she passes by, but with enough immediate room to either flee or get in her face. If it fails run off and after a while turn on the tracker to lead her on a chase around town- another chance might present itself for a sneak attack. If it works... its time for a Snake dish~~

I too shall join the men of culture.

We can kill her, but will lose in a straight up fight.
IIRC Oero is weak to sneak attacks, as evidenced by how UMP dealt with her. Second her armaments while powerful are designed primarily as a standoff long range weapon.
She cannot use missiles at close range, especially not CQB, and her guns (also mounted in the floating pods) could theoretically target V but wont shoot if shes in Oeros face due to her own self preservation instincts.
Her frame is also week compared to other ringleaders, specializing in command/support, and not direct action- that's her own pride leading her into a disadvantageous position.

Also the fact those gun/missile pods are floating gives V an advantage. Since they are on both sides of Oero, she has a high chance to simply grab hold of one and either redirect it at the other one, or use its own momentum to redirect V in a safe way to behind them as Oero tries to target her once the trap is sprung- giving V extra time to get behind Oero, instead of in her face.
Likewise, the same rules apply if the ambush fails she can evade gun fire, and being surrounded by buildings Oero will likely not fire missiles for fear of being disabled or buried under debris.

It's very situational, but if it fails, we still get a backup plan, and Oero is likely to bite since V snarked at her some time ago.

Also dolls have backups. If she was about to die anyway or thought it prudent, she totally would just blow everything around up, suicidal action or not.
Not SF.
Unlike T-dolls they are hardware first, so Oero dying here means shes dead (or her hardware is damaged, or not recovered)
Sure, they have copies to install, but it doesn't help any to that particular model, and she does have her issues.

We're a T-doll. Standard straight up fight is at range with our gun.
She would chump us in a straight up fight. I specified "straight up" for a reason.
Please, CQC does not necessarily mean V has to ditch her gun.
In fact she should keep it, and just pelt Oero with as much ammo as she can while the Ringleader cannot target her due to proximity.

Or give up~

Ok let's do this, our first fight with snek

Only certain SF ringleaders are aware that they can be restored via backup. Is Snake-chan one of them?

Don't forget, Ringleaders also have dummies on occasion. Though I agree that they're not so wasteful with them. And wherever there's dummies, there's also the real thing. Stay on your guard, my lovelies.

The snek taunts are already brewing in my head... And who says love can't bloom on the battlefield? :3

Whatever the case may be, showing our superiority to Oero is important regardless. Being in talking range with her ,and giving our comrades some time more so.
Telling her your friends with Scarecrow and Hunter? Priceless.

"Moi? A Griffin doll? Oh you poor girl, who told you such horrible, horrible lies? Was Hunter-senpai praising me again?"
"Look here! She even gave me her hairpins as a reward!"

I wonder how much mind-fuu and misinformation we can fit in one update~~

Now I want fanart of Veresk T-Posing various SF Ringleaders. :V

Ah, no. Just no. SF ringleaders definitely and regularly use dummies, and almost always perform direct confrontation via those dummies. We see this happen over and over and over in the game. We finish off a boss in story, only to meet it later again, because the one we killed was just a dummy. Or only to find out that it was only weak enough for our dolls to kill because it was just a dummy.

What V is seeing here is highly unlikely the primary snek/head-of-the-hydra. That said, I wouldn't mind eliminating one of her heads/assets and maybe collecting a trophy from it to taunt her with later 😈

[X] Write-in: Face Ouroboros with a surprise CQC ambush.
I would say lead her away first with the tracker and attack if the opportunity presents itself, but if our allies did make it out of the building, we want them to be able to lend aid, instead of being separated from them to face our enemy alone.

Also, I don't think we need worry much about being outmached. Ouro is definitely a long-range, low-accuracy, heavy-ordinance specialist. SMG's in general, with their high evasion, speed, and short-range preferences are practically designed to counter her, let alone a high-quality SMG with especially strong CQC emphasis like V. She's practically serving us her own a$$ on a silver platter here.

I shall call NO to that too.
Since initially the authors of the game didn't actually know what they wanted to do themselves.
Otherwise the whole scene where we defeat (in game) Scarecrow and Architect and both chose to cooperate with Griffin to stay alive, or Hunter is convinced to stand down would have been utterly an completely pointless. Also retarded current lore wise.

They are only slightly more consistent with their lore than Honkai-Impact3, so they might chose to retcon/change/revise the whole thing by the time next chapter arrives, they run out of coffee, or because some manager sits incorrectly in his BigBossChair.

At some point you can just assume that every chapter and event is just set in a different reality

These instances were all clearly final-ish confrontations in which they had finally been backed into a corner with their primary bodies.

Scarecrow worked with us on her last rope after having been chewed down by the military. It's not surprising that her primary body was all she had left.

Architect was home-based/stationed in the arctic, and we ended that event by overrunning and ransacking SF's primary base there, so of course we found her primary.

Hunter stood down to save her friend, who was being screwed over by Dreamer, not by us. Of course dreamer knew which unit was the primary and how to access it, so Hunter's actions still make perfect sense.

The frequency with which the whole "it was just a dummy" thing happens is also just too frequent to say that it is not good solid cannon, or that it's just sloppy writing. I have to say that anything to the contrary is the actual sloppily written part.

Also, as far as what is 'current' lore goes, just look at the recently released emergency chapter about Negev recovering Jerico's remains. They fought Dreamer's dummy. Again.

Lol, we've 'killed' Dreamer, what... 5 times in-game so far? She's like the Sigma of Girls Frontline.
