I wonder what sorcerer's deep looks like in the feywild....
A city of magic and freedom with small sections filled with dangerous and malicious fey? (Most of the world sees the deep as a city of wonder while Westeros still has a bunch who see it as an evil island so small sections of danger among a larger tapestry of wonder?)

that's huh... i never really thought about what the feywild of the deep would be like. we also have the fact that we have a court being formed of pech and bulabar, multiple troupes. we have a lot of fey, and gods and peoples about the deep.
now i really want to have a look around the feywild reflection of the deep
Yep. Ashara's probably going to be on the receiving end of Tiamat's frustration for a very long time. I'm anticipating having to kill her again eventually.
Busy day again today, but I can write now. Vote closed.

[X] Sacrifice Faegon to Yss. He is a willing and unrepentant servant of Tiamat, having tortured and murdered freely in her name, thus without a reasonable doubt to be treated as other cult leaders would. Due his value and strength, denying his soul to Tiamat is of great importance, as it further hobbles her ability to recover from the blow dealt to her. That it also provides a way to learn the information hidden in his mind is largely secondary.
-[X] If possible ask to receive Mindblank piercing tracking capabilities against the last of the Risen Nine, the escaped dragon and drakes, Illyrio, and any other Golden Company / Tiamat aligned VIPs.
-[X] Meanwhile, Tyene will Brainspider anything else of value out of other captured officers.

It might also serve as a good way to see how the world sees us and the tales portray out capital.
Also might reveal some aspects we are unaware of. In fact it might be smart to check out the feywild side of each of our cities and do some cleaning up/recruiting....
I wonder what our feywild lord equivalent would be?

i also feel like the deeps reflection would have a great number of fey who like making deals with other becouse you know the ewhole tradehub between worlds thing with our terminal

So a massive marketplace with a portal between the domains of many different fey lords (most likely some kind of earth aligned or underground dwelling fey).
Also you see my edit about what out companion's mirrors might be? Seriously this is sounding pretty damn interesting
i feel like checking the feywild reflection of sorcerers deep might be either a task for some of our fey or something we will do when we need a break from all the shit we are dealing with

Yss is acting as a protective and stabilizing force, so SD's reflection is probably less chaotic than it'd otherwise be given the amount of focus it has on it and the different views people have on it.
There also seem to be some modifying rules on what most strongly shapes a place. The flesh forge for example seems to be more strongly shaped by the opinions of the local residents than it does by the larger number of Westerosi who shat their collective pants when the big tree went up.
Given all of that, and the fact that it's one of the best places to live in this part of the world for the average resident, I'd bet it's one of the more pleasant city mirrors in the dream lands.
Edit: can we even have a fey reflection? The mythic system seems closely related to the sorts of power that the fey are made out of; if we're actively claiming that power then will there be any left for a new fey to form from?
There was that loosely related flesh forge guy, but he wasn't mirroring our story exactly so much as he was touching on concepts brought to the fore of the public eye by it.
@tarrangar
This whole situation is fucked up, but Aegon isn't just an innocent victim - not any more at least. He's a huge bomb waiting to go off, and has committed terrible crimes with exact knowledge of the consequences for his victims. He may not have known at first, but he damn well does now and continued anyway.
We don't have the means to safely hold him, much less reform him, and keeping him around in spite of that is an insult to every person he's hurt and a profound failure on our part as a government towards his future victims.
This is one of the situations that the death penalty is meant for, and sacrifice is the only way to enforce it on Outsiders and powerful PCs.
If we could reduce the danger that'd be one thing, but an unfortunate consequence of DND's magic system is that you can't render someone harmless by taking away a weapon.
On top of all of that, asking him to flip when we know it's pointless for the sake of soothing our guilt is pretty nasty. We should face the choices we make squarely, not run around grasping for reasons to defray responsibility.

It might be a fun little mini adventure to go out and visit the feywild reflections of each of our cities starting with the deep to recruit they fey lords who rule it.

Fair enough. Still would probably be pretty damn interesting to see though I would think such a heavily storied place like the deep would draw from a much wider influence than the flesh forge did.

Probably but the concept IS interesting and it is a fun little bit of speculation and, honestly, I really want to see what the deep looks like in the feywild as it is probably going to be very interesting as well as possibly giving us some insight.

I didnt think he affected the feywild. I thought it was just the dreamlands and reality.

???? I am pretty sure the dreamlands and the feywild are different things.
But I get what you are saying it is probably fairly pleasant which kind of makes me want to snatch it up even more.
Viserys is a lot of things, and his motivations are complicated, out individual focuses aren't the same as his.
One of my favorite parts of his character is the way he plays with the line of good and evil, and how his pragmatism plays into that.
Viserys has goals beyond grabbing power for himself, and while they are selfish they serve that selfishness in a way that deliberately benefits others. It's what contrasts him so starkly against angels and devils alike, and makes him an interesting addition to the setting as an institution.
It's not Good or Evil, but rather a very mortal approach to making decisions and building a culture that rejects the binary extremes that only ever seem to crush them or force impossible choices.
This has changed with the focus of the thread, and is a pretty subjective interpretation besides, but I can still see it.
Possibly but at most I could see his temple having an oddly accurate mirror in the feywild.
Mechanically the seem similar but the feywild seems a lot less pliable via divine brute force and in general divine influence (pretty sure I remember it mentioned fey are potential gods who didnt quite make the Jump)

Yss' cold gaze reflects in Aegon's prison of amber as it had in the coffins of so many others before him. What does he see you wonder, a boy deceived, a crownless king, an unrepentant killer who fed the lives and souls of his enemies to his dark patrons? In the end it matters little. Had someone slain all your companions and cast all your dreams to ruin you would have little but hate for them, no matter how reasonable they would be.
For a moment you picture it, a victorious Robert magnanimously offering to let you serve him if you but surrender your heathen gods and blood sacrifice. No, not him, the rebels at the notion that he would ever be competent enough to make the offer, Stannis perhaps, if he had been given a better understanding of magic on that ill fated venture against Sorcerer's Deep years ago. Would you have taken his hand while in his other was a weapon still slick with the blood of your dearest friends? No, a thousand times no, though perhaps if you had been particularly cunning in your anger you could have lied about it or tried. You sigh and look away from the closed eyes of the boy behind the amber.
Before the Greater Serpent lies also the greater of Aegon's treasures. Two of the three are cursed as Tyene discovered from peering into Roly's mind, be it by the hand of Tiamat herself or by the horrors of their making, leaving only the blade Blackfyre fit for claiming. You do not trust it.
"The ssword of kingss... and traitorsss... iss sstill to itsself... true." the voice of Yss hisses in your mind .
"And the rest?" You briefly wonder about the expedition of Oros, had they found more there then the armor of madness forged? Were there tomes and secrets yet that survived the flames of the Doom? If anyone knew it would be Aegon, and if any power you can call upon could discover it that would be Yss.
"Your Promissed One is wisse... the Ring is Hersss... the armor haunted," comes the reply. It takes you a moment to realize he means Lya, he knows you are betrothed. In spite of the seriousness of the moment you are struck by the absurd image of gods putting their heads together and gossiping about such things.
If he guesses anything about the direction of your thoughts the Vessel of Yss does not show it. "Would you give them to me alssso?"
Ringof the Devouring Dragons
Description: Forged in the shape of twin dragons entwined and devouring their own tails this ring hums with barely constrained magic. Even the plainest glitter of sunlight upon it shatters to impossible prismatic colors. Though there is no script to read upon its working any dragon who looks upon it knows it to be the work of Tiamat's own hand, meant only for those most loyal to her.
Powers:
The wearer becomes cognizant of all spellcasting that occurs within 60 feet, and she can identify the spell being cast (even if she can't see its casting or effect) on a successful Spellcraft check (DC 15 + spell level). If this identification succeeds, the wearer can choose 1/Day to have the ring counterspell (without readying a counterspell action or making a dispel check) or can change the target or the point of effect of the spell to any target or point within 60 feet (including herself if she chooses to redirect a potentially beneficial spell). If the wearer chooses an illegal target (an animal for a humanoid-affecting spell, for instance, or a point of effect outside the spell's range as measured from the original caster), the spell functions normally and the redirection is wasted. If the wearer ends up in the area of a re-targeted spell, she experiences the effect of the spell as normal.
Your spells benefit from a +4 bonus to caster level to resist Dispel Magic and Counterspell attempts.
+10 Competence bonus to Concentration, Knowledge (Arcana), and Spellcraft skill checks.
Negate stun, daze, confusion, fascination (Does not include the effects of Chronomancy) 1/Day
As a standard action can Gain Protection from Fire, Acid, Cold or Electricity for five rounds 3/day
Curse: The hand of Tiamat is upon this object and it will not be lightly lifted, for those who seek its gifts in defiance of the Mother of Dragons only ruin awaits, their minds made sluggish, their magic weak. Upon wearing this ring any bearer who is not favored by She of Many Colors and None takes five negative levels. The effect only disappears when the ring is removed which can only be done after the use of Wish or Miracle.
Scale of The Black Hierophant
Description: Wrought of dragonsteel bathed not just in the blood of fiends but sorcerers also, this armor was crafted for a priest of Tiamat by a hidden cult that festered in the heart of Oros in the days before Valyria met its Doom. Scholars and smiths driven mad by the truth behind their powers crafted this for a 'Thrice Pure Champion of Tiamat' that was to come. They raised child after child hoping the armor would proclaim them the vessel of the Dragon Queen's will only to see them consumed, their souls bound into the armor, never knowing that the champion would pick it from the ruins long after the whole city had been cast to dust.
Powers:
Increases the Casting Level of all divine spells by +2
Can cast Wings of Cover 3/day as a Sorcerer of Caster level equivalent to the bearer's Hit Dice
+5 AC Bonus (Enchantment) +3 AC Bonus (Insight) +2 AC Bonus (Profane)
+5 Profane Bonus to all saves
Can cast Greater Blink as a swift action 3/day as a Sorcerer of Caster level equivalent to the bearer's Hit Dice
Curse: Unless one makes peace with the souls of the sacrificed children, by some yet undiscovered means, the armor imposes a -10 penalty to Spot, Search, Bluff and Diplomacy checks as the spirits wail constantly in one's mind.
Blackfyre
Description: Though it has a luster like a starless night, a careful eye can divine within this balde uncommon marks for a weapon of dragonsteel. Thin cracks run along its edges seem only the signs of common wear and tear when the blade is quiescent, but when it is drawn in anger they fill with liquid flame that drips like blood upon it
Bearer may add his or her BaB to Spell Resistance as an immediate action when targeted by a spell 1/day
Bearer grants immunity to fear effects to all allies within 20 ft./HD
Lesser Items:
Ring of Mind Blank (+6 Wisdom)
Healing Belt (+5 CON)
Duelist's Gloves (+5 against disarm attempts. +5 DEX)
You consider the matter. Yss is fair of course by his very nature and would offer you fitting boons for such offerings, but given the selfsame skill that he had just praised in Lya you have little doubt she could remove the curse upon the ring in time. One more rusted nail buried beneath Tiamat's scales. The armor presents a different conundrum. Do not the souls of those long dead children groomed in the hazy image of Aegon or perhaps even Dany deserve better peace than oblivion would bring them?
What do you reply?
[] Yes (Sacrifice the Ring, the Armor or both)
-[] Write in which one and what boon you desire
[] No, sacrifice only Aegon, the items can serve other purposes
OOC: This took a lot longer than I anticipated, even with some of the items left generic. Hopefully the fluff makes an interesting read.
The armor is good and can likely be de-coursed in some way, I'd keep it for any of our Clerics.
The Ring can go straight to Yss in my opinion, we can easily (though not cheaply) replicate all of its enchantments, so it's not worth Lya-time to study.
