I'd make a variant if there wasn't already one with Plan: Spoken Queekish with better gambits.
The issue with that one is that it also has a different gambit, not just an additional one. I would like to see an argument of even one of your 30 voters that objects to that addition though. If people who voted for your plan actually want it to stay as it is for reasons then I am completely okay with it. I'm just worried that we miss out on this for no other reason than one oversight, politeness, and momentum.

Eh, life in captivity may well be the best thing that could possily happen to him, considering how every race treats Skaven. And yes, Skaven themselves are included in "every race"

Would they even care? Considering they are a hive mind, they basically reproduce selfsexually.
A: Aromantic humans still enjoy romance stories, so I assume aromantic spiderhives might as well. And that's assuming the We are actually aromantic, which we technically don't know yet.

B: If they don't, we just need to find some romance novels that also feature some non-romance aspects to trick them into liking it. You know, like one whose main character is a hunter so the We might connect to that shared aspect, and from there care about the main character's happiness and as a result their love life.

You are right, but I've never seen a vote here simply win by momentum.

He's probably gonna keel over, sooner rather than later, from old age before releasing him would even be a consideration, so that problem might solve itself. 🧙‍♂️

Unless we accidentally discovered the reason important immortal rats like Ikit Claw and such are that way. Turns out we discover that any skaven is capable of living indefinitely so long as they get three square meals a day, some relaxation time, and an appropriate amount of beauty sleep. How horrifying! But also think of the papers! :V

You're joking, but we seriously should ask Qrech exactly how old he is because lifespan in captivity might actually be worth a paper.
 
Ranald's greatest trick is soft canon. It is what some sects believe, not necessarily what really happened. Although it could also be what really happened.
So very much of Warhammer Fantasy lore works like that, but I like that aspect of Ranald. There's something charming about the idea of his followers thinking they're the most clever and everyone else is a rube, while he just laughs softly.

Super excited. Looking at Old World Armoury, unusual coins can go for massive amounts of money. A gold coin of the pre-Empire tribes goes for quintuple in modern gold; a Tilean talent costs 15 gold; a silver leaf, which is the old elven currency, goes at 250 gold for each one! Old coins go for way more money than their old value or their weight in gold. Honestly this is second-worst thing about the bank cash after the loss of history: it's worth several times more than first appearance suggests, but we're about to melt it all down and annihilate its value.

(I do judge the loss of history to be worse though. These might be the last Tylos coins in existence and we're just erasing them.)

Honestly this is second-worst thing about the bank cash after the loss of history: it's worth several times more than first appearance suggests, but we're about to melt it all down and annihilate its value.

(I do judge the loss of history to be worse though. These might be the last Tylos coins in existence and we're just erasing them.)
We do have an option to preserve some. The process will only begin once the Oklar leaves so that gives us about 6 turns to pick that new option if we want to.
 
Oh right, things happened in the update after my babies appeared.

After being startled by a few sketched proposals that lean hard into reinterpretations of the nature of Shallya's Tears and the Goblet they were drunk from, you commission a lovely painting of Ranald and Shallya sitting together in a field, surrounded by a mixed flock of crows and doves, and when it arrives you hang it across from the laudably fidelious choughs.
To be fair, while the version where Ranald ascends by surprise-chopping off Shallya's head and drinking her blood from it is very apocryphal*, it's no surprise that people chose to send it to Mathilde with her confirmed bodycount in the hundreds of thousands.
*Shallya is still alive since as the Goddess of Healing and the daughter of the God of Death decapitation is actually something you can survive.

Also, this whole set-up reminds me of Path of Civilizations where we eventually had the Trickster God Crow marry the Fertility Goddess Fythhagyna to solve a voting tie instead of just picking Gwy and Gyo like we should've. A surprisingly common type of couple it seems.

You've heard several versions of the story of Ranald's ascension, and several of them don't sit very well with you. You'd very much prefer to believe the best of your oldest friend.

... You know, I know it isn't in the job description, but necromancy is essentially just "bringing back the glory of the past".

As it turns out, the past is often rotten and not as good as you remembered it.

"There is no debate," he says firmly. "Shall I turn the wealth over to the Tomb Kings? To the Strigoi? Or worst of all, consider the Skaven inheritors of Tylos? No. Once the Okral have gone, we will use the smelters they will have built to reforge every coin and ingot, and none will think to question the rediscovered wealth of the Karak."
It was faster than I expected, but I do actually kinda regret not spending our boon now and picking the library.

Because if we did, we could've asked Belegar to turn the wealth over to said Tomb Kings to open negotiations with the intent of hopefully getting some copies of their texts. And their delicious, delicious knowledge.
