Changing vote - I suppose I can see the benefits of picking the mecha option, especially if it introduces us to our support staff.

Yes, checking our equipment is competence, but we are a useless pirate. Which is the same reason that the pest can go jump for all we care. And exercise right before a mission seems off to me. Let's finish that arc we were enjoying and then spend some time warming up our camaraderie.
