What problematic member? Amora is gone, and Hela is still imprisoned. You mean Dad? The DC there is kinda high to try right now, feels better to kick off the game with low-hanging fruit.

Edit: Wait, it's DC 50? For some reason I thought it was 70 or 80. Nevermind, objection withdrawn. Still prefer to try someone else first though.

I want to spar with Thor quite a lot in the early game so when Odin trains, he could be training us as a pair. But first we need a high AL with Thor so he is willing to share.

Also, you are assuming we will just get a good bromance with Thor for free for some reason. He hates us right now.

Odin isn't his mentor yet so he shouldn't get jealous and that is not in his nature. Look at how much stuff he forgave Loki for in cannon.
The second thing in your plan I don't like is fighting whatever that thing is. The QM confirmed that is a deathmatch so we should wait for more stats first. Also working out gives straight martial stats with a chance of a body based martial trait that can apply to anything same with learning in class. Basically picking the option that may give traits that help without conditions.

Edit: Nvm just read that was a joke it's Thor. Still want to get more martial before Thor hands us our ass.

I mean, who DOESN"T think their little brother is annoying? That said, he feels a need to protect us and explicitly does NOT hate us. Honestly, it sounds like the relation is kinda Tsundere.

The DC for fighting thor is the same as for training on our own. So even if he hands us our ass, we are still going to get just as good training out of it. And, who knows, the DC might be the dc to kick HIS ass.

Also, even if he kicks our ass, he won't kick it that hard. He sees it as his job to protect us, after all.

Ya but it will perpetuate to him that we are as weak as he believes. Also why so many Thor actions at least Diplo Odin he is so troublesome if left alone I feel we should focus there while it is easy.

I... have no problem with Thor being protective of us. That sounds like a fun relationship to read, personally. Plus it's setting up a fun future moment when we finally manage to show how we've grown.

Personal preference, mainly. I prefer Thor, and would like to atleast establish a good basic relationship with him first before moving onto others.
Also, "why so many", when I've got 2. One of them is pulling pranks on him. I might have voted to pull pranks on Father were that an option (though objectively bad idea).

I love this idea. He is our bodyguard. And it fits if we are the blacksmith/forger.

Wouldn't he hate us for pulling pranks on him last game the pranks were mean.

Narrative reasons
The reason why I want Odin is to nip Loki s daddy issues and confidence problems as soon as possible.

Mechanical Reasons:
Odin can make certain actions easier like mentorship, diplomacy with dwarfs and personal weapons.
He can also make it harder if ignored. He is extremely petty we saw it last game when DC raised because we spyed on him and used magic.
There is no rush for Thor and we aren't trying to change him so might as well use a personal action.

So, is the general consensus still pursuing the magi-smith path?
 
What do you fine folk think of the name magi-crafter when describing the general outline we seem to have decided on?
Any other suggestions for possible paths loki could follow?
