You also find the time to check in with the We, and while the Priestess of Esmerelda has still yet to find any way of communicating her deity into terms the We can understand, she has built on previous success to the extent that they now completely understand the idea that each individual human, Halfling and Dwarf are distinct entities, though they're still preoccupied with how terrifying it must be to be limited to a single body. From that foundation, she's gradually making her way in the direction of the concepts of barter and value, instead of measuring everything in terms of nutrients and energy as they currently do. You certainly can't call her progress quick, but with your time and attention elsewhere you can't really say whether she's managing gradual success in the face of overwhelming odds or just delivering mediocrity.

While being able to start negotiating a price is still some way away, they have realized that their silk is of some sort of value to their strange new allies, and where they'd normally devote excess production to an ever-growing maze of defensive silk they're instead leaving it by the defensive walls for the Dwarves to bring up with them as their shifts end.

I'd like to point out that these are the results of our "favor pending" stuff. We'll find out details about how these all went without needing to spend a social action. These are for if we want a more personal view of how things have worked out. (That said, Kragg also comes with the side benefit of hanging out with Kragg.)
I believe it's a subscriber feature. I don't keep much of an eye on them, to be honest.

It's a feature available to every thread's creator and subscribers. You should have a button for managing your thread's tags somewhere.

As an aside, this new mark leaving us attracting gasses means we should probably get those gas masks developed and standardized for us on operations. Who knows if there's any sulfer in these caves...

Heck yes, more QM control is always good!

Actually, speaking of We; are their numbers growing? How many of them are there now, in K8P?

[X] Yes, have one social interaction be initiated by someone other than Mathilde.

I prune them every now and then, mostly ones that are responses to single events that were a dozen or more updates ago.

But you should also be able to add new tags of your own, right? And you should have subscriber status right now, since someone gilded your posts this month. (I'm presuming I didn't misunderstand the first post in this reply chain...)

@BoneyM I was wondering how viable a spell to manipulate fog/smoke/mist is? Could we create a spell that lets us make constructs from fog/smoke/mist or control it in a way?

They've added a fourth egg-layer on top of replacing the one that died of warpstone buildup. That's the only population measure they consider 'real', since web-weavers can be increased or decreased fairly rapidly, and apparently a number of them are kept in torpor tucked away in the webs in case they need to rebuild or move and build a new nest unexpectedly. Hunters undergo regular turnover, either from being killed in an attempted attack, returning with significant injuries and being 'recycled', or something in their hunting instructions misfiring and them wandering off deeper into the tunnels, unable to find their way back.

Yes, I could add new tags as OP even before I could as a subscriber.

If by constructs you mean shapes, yes. If by constructs you mean something solid and able to interact with the world, it would take investigation to figure out what might be possible.

I do wonder if we can develop a mist spell to filter gasses. That'd be the optimal approach in my opinion.
Edit. Or shadow, or whatever. Just some form of magic air filter...

Do we have solid enough communication ask how new We-Colonies form yet? I'm curious what the impetuous to divide would even be, but I'm almost certain that is too complex a question to ask.

So has the thread really thought about the implications of obligate carnivores that are fine with eating people, and probably can't eat cooked food, being taught civilization by a priestess of Esmerelda, goddess of food and cooking?

So if we want, we can theoretically minimize the effect of smoke/fog/mist by creating constructs out of whatever is following us around. If we use these constructs as distracting methods or in combination with Invisibility it might actually give us further advantages in infiltration or assassination. Though I imagine holding two spells up simultaneously is quite difficult. What are your guys thoughts on this possibility?

Honestly given all the work we do with Max I'd kind of like to hit him every turn. He's one of our most consistent companions and I'd like to see it just go somewhere. Anywhere.

Naw, the We didn't consider the idea that others than them could be intelligent.
It would be like humans discovering that cows could talk.

While we are at this, at least on the level of "Oh, hey, it would be real cool to remove that thing that gives us cancer from stuff we eat" We are probably going to be pretty enthusiastic about the concept of cooking and all sorts of stuff that makes eating safer.

Oof, lots of stuff happened while i was asleep it seems...
Think i saw all other info sheet differences get mentioned, but didn't see anyone mention the less important EIC belief change:
Secondary Corporate Beliefs:
Tall, not Wide: The EIC prefers to dominate small areas than have small presences over large areas.
Insider Trading: The EIC likes to make profit from being the first to know important information.
Friends In High Places: The EIC likes to cultivate relationships with Elector Counts and other local rulers.
Eyes on Barak Varr: Though careful to cooperate rather than compete with Barak Varr, the eyes of the EIC have turned south.

@BoneyM would it be possible to have a Regimand choice added to the 'default' selection for social turns? For checking up on academia and/or swapping whatever mission stories aren't classified?

Edit:
Did you mean to vote for this?
Whoops, thanks; i copied the list and just went in Xing ones i wanted, and i missed that line when deleting the unchosen ones :p
