You're not familiar with the reigon and mind your human size- it's not like home where anything punt-sized (not pint, punt, as is puntable, like a football!) has learned methods to deal with being convenient for kicking around in one form or another.

I'm one of those people that like having an image to use for characters. Or at least the PC, so which of these is closest? (It helps with actually picturing the scenes to have a solid base to work off of for some people)

(Ignore the lack of ponytail please)

Or in another way: Cheerful short-stack, cheerful lithe, and grumpy lithe. Update said we were "lithe of limb" so I figure we're kind of lithe in general, but I wasn't sure.

As a more serious answer, I'd prefer write ins only when the option of [] write in - x is given.

I suppose image 3 is probably the closest, though of course the clothes are from the wrong sort of timeframe. 1 has heterochromia, and 2 is neither ponytailed and is also a tad pinky and rufflely clothing-wise.

The DQ definitely has a serious expression as default. No turning that frown upside down for her very easily!

I'll try to track down or produce some images more closely resembling my image of Aria, the Hero and the various other characters at some point.
 
Oh. I completely forgot to mention... I haven't really gotten a feel for the narrative yet, but I wonder if we'll be giving a "You either die a Hero or live to be the Villain" speech at some point. Possibly mixed with a "Humans can be cool, but Humanity sucks" speech depending on how us being the DQ comes out and how its reacted to.

Its usually not going to be perfect I find. Generally you want to just get as close as you can with primary importance paid to getting distinguishing features (Red hair and green eyes here with a high-ponytail pretty close after), general body type (lithe vs. stacked or whatever), and general demeanor. If you find one that fits those three to any reasonable degree then you probably have something of a keeper. *Shrug*

Or at least that's what I look for. 1st one has the blue eye mostly covered, I didn't even notice until you pointed it out, and the second's really only missing the ponytail.

Clothing is... usually not even a concern unless its one of the primary traits, like they're a Knight or something and so need actual armor.
