I just realized that a gyrocopter just casually landed in the streets in Altdorf. Do these people have no notion of air traffic control? Bombardment risks?

I mean, it's convenient but it's also stupid.
How exactly would the do air traffic control exactly? Let alone in random places all over when only dwarfs have the air power (dragons, gryphons, and such not counted).

The Dwarfs have designated hangers for this purpose, everyone else not so much. There is no radio and Dwarf are causally active magically so they could only really handle things by single flares or single flags and your going to need expensive optical gear to really read them both ways. I suppose they could have two way runic arrays that react to each other as well, but your only really going to find those in Dwarven hangers anyway. Even if it was just lights up the lights on the other board type... plus you'd have to train the pilots to operate them. The other problem is coming up with such an out there idea from traditionalist like the dwarfs.

MC's came up with a 3D alterable map almost entirely out of frustration with the lack of such an easy way to displace 3D mapping info in a quick to read manner and it took all of a minute for the average dwarf to love the concept forever.
 
It's not like Panoramia isn't sticking around anyway. She's just not under our aegis and probably can't be as easily called in for things.
 
@BoneyM , what happens to wizards we don't recruit? Do they leave k8p automatically or do they just do whatever they please?

Wilhelmina's the least bad person to fill the power vacuum Roswita has left in Western Stirland.
[X] Infiltrator: Nobody seems to guard anything well enough to keep you out. +2 Intrigue, +10 bonus to infiltration.
[X] Bureaucrat + Practical > Warrior of Paperwork: Scholarship is just a specific form of paperwork. You can live with it. Combines the two traits, +2 Learning, remove penalty to writing papers yourself.

First, there are the Journeymanlings. Esbern and Seija will be remaining at least until the spiders are sorted out, and it would be much easier to convince them to stay, and the Amber College to back your request, as a Court Wizard than it would have been as 'Head Ranger' or 'Marshal of the Undumgi'. Panoramia has fairly deep ties to the Halflings already and is likely to be making herself useful with them for years or longer. Maximilian will be learning as much as he can from his new friend in Clan Hazkal, and considering his appreciation for Dwarven artifice, he's likely to stick around even after his studies conclude. Johann's deception could give you an in to bring him under your authority, even though he's your equal and may have seniority over you.

I've been convinced that this will have a greater impact than 2 College favors.
I think it's probably not; I mean, we can use two College favors to pick up two spell scrolls, one of which could be the long longed-for Illusion.

But I like the scene of the mysterious magister just handing out magical items like it's fucking Yule, and this keeps the morale bonus in play.

I think the original post was asking what would happen if a Chaos God (specifically) posseses Mathilde, and that's highly unlikely to begin with. Other entities of the warp though is another matter. I.e. unaligned daemons and so on

Of the journeymanlings + Johann all but the ambers have their own plans in and around the Eight peaks. Panoramia is sticking around to help the halflings, Max is doing smith stuff with clan Angrund dwarfs and Johann is poking Skaven for the memes.

They continue with their own plans. Panoramia's got work lined up with the halflings, Esbern and Seija return to the Demigryph Knights, Max will finish his training under the Angrund smith and then try to see if anyone else is willing to teach him, Johann's testing his luck with the ratties.

Think about it guys, if you REALLY want to "get back" at Johann, the best way to do it is to make use of him and drag him around helping us when he just wants to do his Skaven tech stuff.

And he's got a very useful skillset for our job and in general.
 
Pardon me @BoneyM , is the below still in effect, or should I take from the current post with the Important Information that each slot is worth 1 Favor, including us specifically picking spells (1 favor) and our teacher picking several (1 favor)?
Apologies, but there's no easy way to do this without curtailing the possibilities: The difficulty of a spell is based on the casting number in Realm of Sorcery; if the casting number is a single digit, it's Relatively Simple and 2 favours. If it's between 10 and 19, it's Moderately Complicated and 3. If it's 20+, it's Fiendishly Complex and 5. I ask those with access to the book to highlight interesting possibilities for those that do not. If you want something more complex than a spell in an item, outline what you're looking for and I'll give it a pricetag.

So? We're in charge, they don't have to like each other, just not let it interfere.
