Mmm, I wonder if a first-hand detailed account with magesight and magical understanding of the metaphysics involved in the usage of an Anvil of Doom by one such as Kragg would be worth something to the Colleges.
Grey Wizard: Why are half the magisters a sleep?
Barely awake Grey wizard: We got a new report.
Grey Wizard: What's it about?
Barely awake Grey wizard: It's a first hand report about a new understanding of how Anvil's of Doom work.
Grey Wizard: Sounds exciting!
Barely awake Grey wizard: zzzz... Huh? oh yes it would be but it was written by Mathilde.
Grey Wizard: I see. Would you like some tea to help stay wake?
Sleeping Grey wizard: zzzzz.....

Regarding Panoramia, I think this is a much more Grey Wizard option, at least Grey Wizard who had Regimand as a Master:

[] Write-in: Leave her a note someplace conspicuous (to her) to either obey her commanding officer or hide her involvement better. This half-hearted middle-ground is a bad mix. You'll lecture her later, when it's more convenient.
No, that's a terrible idea. It's literally telling her to hide things from us. The whole "don't let me catch you next time" thing only works when you aren't actually against whatever the person is doing, but are obligated to stop them, like a worker seeing someone shoplifting food from a big chain store. They probably don't give a damn about wall-mart losing money, and that person needs to eat, but if their boss finds out they let them go, they might loose their job. You don't say that when someone is doing something that you think they really shouldn't be, like in this situation. We don't want her to get better at not listening to us and risking perils, we want her to not do those things. This write in is actually worse than the "pretend nothing happened" option.

Everything that is relevant and safe to tell. That what we did nixed Only Mork/Gork but weakened and pissed them off too is important intel. Ranald becoming more powerful is irrelevant to this expedition and probably all dwarfs besides.

She is young and eager. Explain to her why it was stupid, and let it lie unless she does it again.

[ ] The job is done. Ale and riches for everybody.

Not this. Other than that, no idea. Maybe take the Citadel.

I know it would be really hard to turn the tide at this point, if I really ask people to consider the addendum I've added below:

- [X] The Expedition should continue until all the major Greenskin and Skaven concentrations have been scouted and any urgent threats to the reestablished Karak Eight Peaks neutralised.

We really don't want all the men to go home and then find out that the skaven were just biding their time until the dwarves has weakened the Greenskins enough to sweep both out with their completely intact forces.

I am extremely tempted to go for another Karak but don't want to over extend the dwarves.

Definitely not now, at least. But probably before K8P is entirely secure. At some point, all the manlings will have to return to their homelands, and the Dawi will finish the rest of the job on their own. I don't think we should stick around for longer than helping retake one or two more Karaks at most, lest the "Mountain Vietnam" tag become justified.

I added in Alratan's write-in just in case, though I imagine that QM will ask again about our continued participation in the Expedition after the Citadel "mission" is concluded.

Look, I think the Dwarfs deserve to know. And perhaps even need to know, too.

One of their racial enemy's gods just got weakened. That's potentially huge. I think the Dwarfs could use this information in their strategic plans. It's very relevant to them.

Heck, it's even relevant to them for morale (and potentially Greenskin-related Grudges too) -- how much better would the Dwarfs feel, knowing that one of their enemies just got hurt a lot?

I hope the same, but don't want to assume so. Someone should raise it as a possibility so that the humans don't think that all that has to be done is take the Citadel and then they get their loot.

[X] The death of the Warboss, the shattering of an Almost-Rogue Idol, and the weakening of Mork.

We're not in a court of law and we're not asking for a reward like some bounty hunter. We're a part of the military and we're saying what's happened, no proof is needed. What's required from us is to say what happened, that's it. They've got no reason to think we're a liar, so unless they find evidence proving our words false, we'll be fine, especially as they find evidence that we're telling the truth - Mork's commissarial actions, interrogation of greenskins, possible widespread shaman head-explosion, stuff like that.

Our otherwise inexplicable vision of evil and sorcerous dwarves will certainly help establish that we're telling the truth.

Conversely, we don't want them suspecting that we're keeping information from them. That's bad policy in general, and it's extra bad policy given that we were guarding the gigantic treasure pile noted to be a greed magnet.

[X] Praise Panoramia. We didn't want her going into battle because exhaustion causes miscasts. She didn't go into battle until she saw orks about to descend on her comrades, and made the right judgement that the risk of miscast wasn't as bad as the risk of being overrun by orks. It was exactly the right reason and time to break orders, and in all honesty kept to the spirit of those orders.

Panoramia did something legitimately good here, for reasons explained above. Mathilde isn't a boot camp arch-disciplinarian or dogmatic dictator, she's a worshipper of Ranald, so someone breaking ranks for the right reason at the right time to do the right thing would be downright virtuous to her.

We really need the Citadel intact if there is to be any kind of farming in the eastern valley.

With any luck, the trolls and the orcs will have weakened each other. Also, we're going to be getting reinforcements soonish (who would presumably be rather upset if they showed up and didn't get a chance to fight), and if we take both the Citadel and Kvinn-Wyr we should have a more or less unbreakable hold on the eastern half of the Karak. If it comes down to it though, the Citadel is probably more important and almost certainly easier to take at the moment.

You know, I'm getting real sick of this conflation of a sacrament of one of his aspects with one of his underlying rules. You don't talk about personally Worshiping The Deceiver. Everything else is only because Witch Hunters get stabby about it.
And that somehow makes talking about Ranald to Dwarfs or two Knightly Grandmasters any more appropriate? I added that in as gravy, refuting it doesn't change the fundamental premise no one here is going to want to here how the scary wizard lady force fed part of one god to a god that is nearly proscribed. Like of all the things to care about- if that's where my argument loses sway, then I am well and truly sorry for failing to convey just how many nopes disclosure demands from me.

If we're trying to go for sheer intimidation factor, then maybe that might make sense. But this isn't the sort of thing to just bring up, especially when the only way to verify it is liable to be showing off our fancy new divine artifact.
