Best case scenario is that not only do we get the Goblins and Skaven at it, we get the beastmaster Skaven at war with Eshin, as they sent an assassin to sabotage him and get him killed by the goblins.
I feel like this guy isnt that important, strategically. Tactically, he probably has some importance locally but on the grander scale? He's probably someones lackey.Best case scenario is that not only do we get the Goblins and Skaven at it, we get the beastmaster Skaven at war with Eshin, as they sent an assassin to sabotage him and get him killed by the goblins.
True but he's probably high up enough to start some sort of conflict.I feel like this guy isnt that important, strategically. Tactically, he probably has some importance locally but on the grander scale? He's probably someones lackey.
It burns like acid. Superficial damage to objects only without extended burningI wonder... does Burning Shadows only effect living creatures caught in a shadow? Or could we use it to damage objects, like support beams for a platform?
At least from how I'm picturing it, there would be a fair few places in the structure where the shadows cast from the bonfires and support beams would lay across other support beams. Admittedly, I might be wrong with this visualization.
Bullets too, saw that with the ghosts in Sylvania.Does Mathilde's Blessed Weapon mastery apply to the bullets she fires, or just the gun itself?
Would Pall of Darkness followed by Substance of Shadow work to take out a support? The platform is certainly ramshackle enough for the supports to count as separate items rather than parts of the whole, but you'd need to deal with at least one bonfire before the supports would be in darkness.
Sucks that this doesn't look like it'll work. Collapsing the platform seems like the way to get the most dramatic effects we can, and the setup is just about perfect for it, but I'm having trouble figuring out the best way to accomplish it.I wonder... does Burning Shadows only effect living creatures caught in a shadow? Uh...the first part doesn't link to the second. So while attempting the Assassination is certainly tempting, I would like to point out that minor Skaven/Goblin alliances are super uncommon but they are also incredibly temporary and fragile. We can bring this to the attention of the Dwarves and come up with a more thorough plan to destroy the Alliance and get them fighting with each other, one that will stick beyond the initial Chaos.
Wouldn't a greatsword give us away? Need to borrow one of those halberds or use magic for the assassination.[X] Doppelganger to look like one of the armored Skaven, then try and assassinate the Goblin Leader. Be seen as a Skaven assassin, then flee into the shadows.
I like this idea. Even on a miss, goblins are likely to ask very pointed questions of the skaven.
I think we'd be using our pistol in this plan.Wouldn't a greatsword give us away? Need to borrow one of those halberds or use magic for the assassination.
Huh, might work - it's a strikingly dwarwen pistol though, nothing like skavencrafted ones. Might be considered a trophy?

Sound and smell are just as noticeable, as is lack of warpstone.
To be fair in the confusion they might not have the state of mind to notice.Sound and smell are just as noticeable, as is lack of warpstone.
