[X] Protect Ruki!
-[X] You can hear a distant song from the depths. Reach out to it.

Warning, guys. RL just decided to steal my afternoon, so this may get posted tomorrow.
Ruki braces her feet, her Wrench held before her in both hands like a sword. It gleams in the bloodstained moonlight, and your soul sings, demanding you rise and battle. Your student is your defender, and she will surely die if you do not intervene.
There is a light shining in the distance.
Nanoha, your one-time idol, is too far away still to protect Ruki. She is also not the invincible hero you had hoped for. The needle wound is still there, a gaping hole near her collar. Though she still stands, you know she cannot bear the weight of your duty for you.
There is a light shining in the distance.
Your Soul Gem is approaching saturation. You can cleanse, and you will, but you do not know if it will matter. The abomination seems immortal--even as you turn your head to regard it in the distance, you can see its ravaged parody-flesh knitting back together, the unholy doll unwilling or unable to die.
There is a light shining in the distance.
You cannot do this on your own, but there is a light shining in the distance.. You turn towards the window, turn your shield, and hurl yourself into motion, your crimson blood soaking the still-grey earth in your passage. The window is not close, but you can reach it. You will surely reach it.
After what seems an eternity, imprisoned between these two moments, you reach the base of the building. The window gleams overhead in your sight, and you leap for the second story with all of your might and all of your magic.
You have no abdominal muscles, right now, but you do not allow that to stop you. What flesh cannot do, your soul will do without fail. The whirring of clocks fill your ears as the works of your ancestors spin through your blood and spirit, mechanisms unknown and mysterious to you revealing themselves to your mind as they shine forth into the world beyond, glowing gears and motors snapping into place around your legs to grant them the strength your body cannot.
You leap, no, you are thrown upwards by Magic and Clockwork, and suddenly you are crashing through the window.
Kyouko's room is exactly as it always has been. Neatly kept, carefully loved, and sorely lacking in any mark of her current self--in this room, she still keeps what remains of the girl who once lived with a hero's heart. You remember the days when she walked again, but those days are not today.
Those days are here again.
The light is shining above her bed. The beautiful, ornate cross that she had once given you, and which had vanished from your possession upon arriving in this loop. It is here, you are here, and she is here.
You reach out with a heart full of love and desperation, dreaming of a hero you once knew, of a beautiful girl who had finally remembered her own heart.
You grasp it, and she is standing there beside you, smiling softly.
"Hey, Homura. I told you we were still watching, didn't I? Well, the time for watching is over. Today, we get to be a hero again."
She offers you her hand, and you ignore it, rushing towards her as tears burst from your eyes, feeling all too much like that girl you once were, so long, long ago.
As you wrap your arms around her and hug her close, she returns the embrace with gentle words, "Don't worry, Homura. You don't have to carry the world alone, now. Just...leave this one to me."
You nod.
Magic burns the world around you, a warming flame that sears painlessly across your flesh. Pale, weak limbs vanish under those flames, replaced by the fruits of years of battle. The quiet ticking of clocks in the back of your mind goes silent, and you hear choir-song fill the air. Whirrr. Click. Name. Click. Kyouko. Click.
The fallen walls have faded from sight. Homura has finally offered her hand, and you will catch her. Witch though you might become, Heretic though you are, you know God is with you today.
You leap from the window, crimson magic engulfing your body and filling the air with overwhelming heat, and streak down towards the Demon below. Homura's student's putting up a good fight, but she's nowhere near ready for this sorta fight.
You thrust out your spear, and a burst of crimson Fury pierces the Demon through the chest. It reels away, staring at you in what you think might be shock as it screams at you in German, "LIAR! LIAR!"
It twists to thrust the needle at you, and you knock it aside with a flick of your wrist before kicking it back across the battlefield.
"Who are you? Where's Homura-senpai!?" The girl, Ruki, asks from behind you.
Keeping an ear out for the Demon's movements, you smile, popping a stick of pocky into your mouth, and glance over your shoulder at her, "I'm Kyouko Sakura, Homura's too beat up for this, so I'm gonna clean house. You stay safe and watch closely. Might learn a thing or two."
Turning back to the Demon-doll, lying on the ground as it is, you call out, "So, you gonna get up, or should I just kill you while you're down?"
The doll jerks upwards at the waist, then lurches upwards back onto its feet, a tomato in one hand and a needle in the other.
Summons corporeal clones of Kyouko to fight alongside her. They substantially weaker than Kyouko, are not able to use magic, and are fade away if significantly injured, but possess her own combat skills and can operate independently within reason.

[H] Protect Ruki and Slay the Demon
-[ ] Engage it in melee. It's got some kinda weird Time Stop variant, but it seems to be time limited, and you're the better fighter.
-[ ] Swarm it with spears. Homura's guns seemed to work, but you're pretty sure you can do more damage if you conjure and enchant some spears.
-[ ] Write-In.
[QM Note: None of the red text in this post is a Red Truth.]

Well...think I know what that circle on Homura's Soul Gem does now. Allows Homura to change into different Magical Girls. No Blue Truth as I don't really have the best way to describe it. As for the vote... Melee does appear to be effective with Kyoko's experience in battling melee. But this thing is fast and appears to be adaptive. I wouldn't want to go against Usotsuki just one-on-one melee. That has me thinking...Rosso Phantasia, either of the versions, or the spear swarm option.

-[X] Use Rosso Phantasma to aid in confusing and maneuvering the doll. Start with normal and switch to Soldatessa Materiale variant if needed.
Hope the extra line after engaging isn't out of place. Saw the Write-In option and figured that since those can sometimes be fairly involved that it would be allowed.
Loved the spring jump.
I was reminded of that doom clock of insanity, and this feels like something from the same 'research tree'.
Speaking of sanity- compare those two:
Kyouko still has her marbles in pristine condition, not lost or dirited.
Kinda envying her right now.
Though I am not envying her dulled sense of time. "Evening"? Really? Don't you have a watch on yourself? Or one of your core themes/aspects being time?

Note that stability multiplier modifies sanity changes, not merely losses, but also gains.
It's less bounce right back, more not break in the first place.
It's being more... static/solid/set in your mindset and mood.
At least at the moment- this multiplier changes a fair bit for Homura, after all.
Yes! A clock! A clock over her heart, powered by her blood! Each beat will be accompanied by a small tick, each second something she won't only know, but be deeply aware of.
You could wake her up after a night of heavy drinking and she'd know exactly what time of the day it is, how long has she slept, and the rate of her heartbeat.
Though it would probably take Homura at, like, 10 sanity to make it. And she'll need to be in middle of Akemi Madness. And finish fixing her own heart (and probably do the same augment for herself). And make some super exalted bond with Kyouko, to even consider allowing something like this.

Homulily: "Honey, I was made out of the obsessive need you had to be someone that mattered to the only person who gave your life meaning and I think your crazy."
Homura: *throws wrench* "SHUT UP LILY! NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU!"
So given everything I think Nanoha at least is going to bring this up to Kyouko and Mami. Because the Familiar brigade of Homulily is recognizably and reliably weird.
Ruki is going to be so confused. Because the Kyouko saving her is not going to be the one at Homura's house that she meets later unless things are very strange with the interactions between everyone.
And if Nanoha is recording so us everyone else!
I'd say poor Homura but explaining what happened or giving a decent excuse without letting the time looping out of the bag will be fun.
As much as it could be fun keeping it secret, it would be better if some of them knew the truth. It's a painful, bitter pill for those involved to swallow, but if they accept it, Homura will have formed a meaningful relationship with people other than Madoka for the first time in a long; long time.
Homura: Miki-san, the Sakura you have been meeting is actually me.
Sayaka: What?!
Kyouko: Yeah, that's why it's weird you keep clinging to me all weird like that.
Homura: I apologize.
Sayaka: So all this time... The Kyouko I've been with was... Was you all along?! I-I even confessed and everything!
Kyouko: Yikes.
Homura: I apologize. But Miki-san, my heart only belongs to Madoka.
Sayaka: Oh so you're dumping me now?!
Kyouko: Yiiiikes.

We also don't know how permanent or temporary Koko is at this point in time. Everyone watching Homura go love-drunk with Alt!Kyouko would be funny to watch for a bit... and we could use the stability honestly.
I get reminded of how much of a mess this entire thing is though every once in a while. Homura needs to beat the entire system and Kyuuby, which means you need something on the order of Madokami or Homucifier to hammer the universe into shape.
Homulily: "Honey, I was made out of the obsessive need you had to be someone that mattered to the only person who gave your life meaning and I think your crazy."
Homura: *throws wrench* "SHUT UP LILY! NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU!"
Surprised I didn't get an Insightful for this at all. Homura telling herself that no one likes her. Though that may have been too obvious? Oh well, funnies are still good too.

Well, for one thing, it's incorrect. There is someone who cares about both Homura and Homulilly. Don't forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember her, you are not alone.

Mmm, still wish we reached inward instead of outward. *Sigh* It would either have been Sayaka or our Witch, I'd almost guess the latter more than the former from the sounds of it too and considering Clara Dolls are here, that's not exactly something we should ignore investigating if we have the chance to look into it.
Go full ham of course. GLORY OR DEATH. MAXIMUM EFFORT
...Actually. I've got an idea. If Usotsuki's time stop is at all familiar with Homura's...then what is stopping us from pulling a Mumi Absolute Configuration here?
Like. get in close, using kage bunshins to keep ourselves safe and her disoriented and get an opportunity to bind us together with the chains? And then go full ham on the doll?
