I'm here to stay, alright?
Travelling dimensions isn't a simple thing. You thought you had it handled. Reverse the polarity, jam the goober in, send all the Spiders home. Take the leap, beat the bad guy, and always get back up. That's how it works. That's how it should have gone. That's how it did go, in countless infinities. Too bad this isn't one of them.

But let's go over this, just in case.

Spiderman - or in this case, five Spidermen - get the Goober, infiltrate the supervillains lair, and are right on the cusp of fixing their problems. It turns out to be a trap, but through skill and living up to heroic ideals, they defeat the bad guys and switch the machine on - in a way that won't destroy all of reality, that is. Here's where things change, though. Not majorly - everybody jumps in the portal, personal issues have gotten the shock treatment of life-or-death, tearful farewells are had. The multiverse is saved. But not every Spider got to go home. Not this time.

They took that leap of faith, and instead of catching air and soaring, they slammed into the dirt. Face. First. But like any good Spider, they get back up. But instead of finding themselves back home, or in a giant Super Collider, they see something entirely different. A new dimension. A new world. And what new world is this, might you ask?

Well that one is simple.

The new world is war.

=-=-=-=

When you pick yourself up, you're expecting a supervillain, New York, even the Super Collider again. Maybe you missed the portal somehow, and you're still in that eye-bending space/time-warping mess of realities being mashed together.

Instead, you're on top of a building. Unfortunately, it seems to be collapsing.

The entire structure is collapsing beneath you, tipping over and about to crash directly into the next building over. You sprint for the edge, hopping off and twisting in the air, taking in a million details in an instant.

- Hovering tanks, racing through streets like race cars -

- Giant insect creatures, like walking artillery, swarming by the hundreds -

- Barricades of light and steel, manned by figures in full-body armor, some wreathed in blue light and others bearing horns and small arms -

- an alien sky, ships titanic machines blasting eachother apart to the backdrop of a gas giant that takes up the entire horizon -

- and beneath you, dozens of people and creatures scrambling for safety -

- and then, knowing only that you've somehow entered a warzone, you do the only thing you can do.

The only thing that Spiderman could do.

You save the day.

=-=-=-=

But let's back up a moment here, 'cause there's still one very important question. You're Spider-Man, nobody can take that from you. But as you've learned the past few days - there's more than one Spider-Man. Which one are you?

[ ] Miles Morales AKA Spider-Man 2.0
Stats: Moderate Strength, Agility, Senses. Intelligence average.
Webs: Arrives with a few cannisters of webbing and a pair of web-shooters... doesn't actually know how to make more.
+Venom Strike and Cloaking
-Greener Than Grass
-Going through Puberty

[ ] Peter B. Parker AKA Hobo Spider-Man
Stats: Moderate-High Strength, Agility, Senses, Intelligence.
Webs: Standard - cannisters, web-shooters. Home-made and suitable for all things spider-man.
+Veteran at all things Spidey
-Depression, Suicidal Tendencies, Mega Guilt Complex
-Out of his prime and slowing down.

[ ] Peter Parker AKA Spiderman Noir
Stats: Low Agility, Senses, highest Strength. Smart, but no good education.
Webs: Organic and paralytic - very good for combat, mediocre at swinging and utility. Larger reserve than a cannister, but once it's out, he needs a few hours and preferably some food.
+Private Eye, Spidey Sense focused on people and details.
+Always has dramatic wind.
-Weak protection from Spidey Sense
-Bipolar and prone to repression - meaning extremely strong bursts of emotion when sufficiently stressed.

[ ] Peni Parker AKA Sp//dr
Stats: Lowest Agility, Strength. Smartest of the spiders, with advanced education.
Webs: Heavy-duty, produced by the suit. More like steel cables than proper webs, and require sometimes-difficult materials to produce.
+Comes with a tiny psychic sp//dr - her best friend - and a giant robot that gives her the best Strength and Senses of the spiders, alongside a variety of useful toys and tools.
+Psychic powers are subtle, but effective and useful.
-She's a little girl and a child soldier.
-Sp//dr robot requires maintenance and repair, and she's very vulnerable outside it.

Character
Name: Peni Parker AKA Sp//dr
Age: 12

-=Powers=-
Physical Enhancements: Peni has the strength of a grown man, and heals from significant injuries at a rapid rate. Her strength and small size grant her almost superhuman speed in a straight line, and she is very agile. However, none of her physical abilities are strictly outside human capacity (yet, at least).
Psychic Link: Peni has a psychic link with the spider known as Sp//dr, allowing them to exchange data across vast distances and work as one when pilotting the Sp//dr suit. They can share however much they want, and the link allows Sp//dr to emulate sapience despite not technically having the brain for it.
Spidey Sense: Penis' spidey sense grants her an unparalleled ability to process information, both through her psychic link and through her normal senses, as well as providing a supernatural warning of significant danger shortly before its' appearance. It occasionally alerts her to events or persons of significance, though details are always vague.

-=Skills=-
Combat: Peni has recieved significant training in hand to hand combat and threat management, mostly to enhance her ability as a pilot of the Sp//dr suit. However, she is fully capable of employing her training when on foot.
Rescue: Similarly, she has been trained in how to conduct search and rescue operations. Her training is primarily triage-based, focused on removing civilians from dangerous urban areas while handling greater threats or identifying those likely to survive and provide the most basic of aid before moving on (given the difficulty of providing further medical attention while within a giant robot).
Engineering (Sp//dr): Penis' enhanced intellect and natural genius have served her well in following her fathers' footsteps. While she does not fully understand the Sp//dr suit, she is more than capable of conducting significant repairs and modifications, and her training and practice make most other engineering tasks comparatively stress-free for her.
Computer Science: Sp//dr is more than just a suit, it's a complex machine meant to link directly to the minds of both a spider and a human through a psychic connection. As you might imagine, the software behind all of this is incomprehensibly complex. Even the bare fraction she understands leaves most other feats of programming almost simple.

I choose this one because she is cute, can probably upgrade the robot with some of the Mass Effect tech and I want to see how we can fully utilize our psychic powers.

Because giggles mostly. Also, of the spiders she is probably the most protected and useful in a world where tech is plentiful. I'm just imagining the shenanigans that she could get up to with an omnitool and an abandoned city worth of omnigel let alone an actual fabrication center.

Goddammit, I actually liked Gerard's version of the character, even if i understand Into the Spider-verse's logic for the change.

OP, please tell me she'll get more of the comic version's goodies...?

She's the best for tech stuff and there's no doubt she'll be able to do a lot of cool things, but Noir would actually be better for incorporating Mass Effect technology into his style due to his lack of conflicting education and not having to mash together two entirely different techbases.

I'm basically shoving everything I want together into a semicoherent whole. So yeah, everybodys' all getting bits and pieces of different sources crammed into them.

I'd prefer Spider Gwen, but of the given choices I'd prefer the veteran Spiderman. Though Peni Parker could be fun too.

Honestly I'm fine with any option, but Peni and Noir intrigue me most. With Peni you got a child prodigy in a mini-mech, whereas Noir has Dramatic Wind! So yeah, either is cool.
