You turn toward your fellow DigiDestined. "Kari, did the place that you ran to have any more tracks?"
She nods. "There were a few stations. Why do you ask?"
"Well, I was thinking... maybe Golemon and the others could go there, and expand those tracks. And they wouldn't have to deal with Locomon anymore." It seems fairly obvious to you, though you aren't sure if everyone would be able to find work right away... it'd still be an improvement over the current situation.
"I guess... What do you guys think?" She asks the others.
"It seems like a good enough idea," Izzy says. "Though we'd need to backtrack a bit to get there, and I can't imagine Locomon would react well to all of them just getting up and leaving."
"We'd also have to get all of them to come with us," Joe points out. "That... would probably take a while." Time, effort... constantly being attacked by various mercenaries in the middle of a dust cloud filled with explosions. Not exactly an easy task, though that's not to say it wouldn't be a worthwhile one.
"So, we need to round them up, first?" Mimi checks. "Togemon, could you handle that?"
"How am I supposed to know who is on which side?" The cactus shoots back.
"I dunno, ask? Oh, you could have Golemon point them out!"
"PLEASE DO NOT DRAG ME BACK INTO THIS." Poor Golemon. He doesn't yet realize that, once Mimi sinks her grip into you, there is no escape. Oh, well. He'll learn. Most likely.
"Transporting a large group isn't something that's going to be easy," Izzy tells you. "Are you sure about this?"
"All we have to do is get them to where Locomon can't reach them, right?" Sure, there'd still be the mercenaries to worry about, but after a certain point, you think it might be cheaper for the Digimon to hire more workers. Assuming that anyone would be willing to work for him anymore, and you aren't too sure about that.
"Technically, yes, but..."
"It'll be fine. We can just take them to where the tracks start up again, and they can go from there. Really, getting all of them would be the hardest part." You know what you're saying makes sense, you just have to get your friend to see that. Somehow. "Unless there's another problem you can see?"
He's as logical as it's possible to be here, that should be simple enough. But if he has real misgivings... well, you'll hear those out, too.
"Not in particular. At least, not that can be avoided easily by doing something else." He shakes his head. "Never mind. Let's get Birdramon and MegaKabuterimon to help Togemon."
Right. All you'd have to do is ask them which side they're on, right? That should be simple enough...
...It should have been simple enough. Just hang around MegaKabuterimon so you have somewhere to run to, keep your head down so the dust doesn't get unbearable. You even found a pair of ToyAgumon that were managing to avoid attacks as they struggled to get to the edge of the disaster.
And then a Digimon with three heads appeared between you and Izzy's partner, and that seems to have been hunting down all of the Rookies that ended up in the fray. Potentially indiscriminately, you don't know which side that mass of gears belonged to.
Either way, you should probably do something about that thing... Even if you're not entirely sure what.
[ ] Blast it with fire. Blast it with as much fire as possible.
[ ] ...Birdramon can fly. Take the ToyAgumon and see if you can't lure this Digimon to MegaKabuterimon, he'll handle it for you.
[ ] Find a way to bait it into attacking the various powerful Digimon around the area- just not MegaKabuterimon, Izzy's probably busy enough.
